PATIENT REVIEWS

Check out what some of our happy patients are saying about us:

Charles D. from Weymouth, MA (Source: Yelp)

I am a cardiac patient and have been recovering from my second open-heart surgery in 2009.  I have been using the massage therapy services of the staff at Facilitated Healing for over a year now and can attest to the sincerity and professionalism of all involved.  The long-term results I have experienced are increased and maintained mobility, scar tissue relaxation, and general relaxation/well-being.  This is not your “fluff massage” where a third of your scheduled time is spent alone in the room with music and candles.  This is real work being done to help you progress physically and I like the results!

Let me say up front: at the time of this review, I am not reclined in a dental chair looking up at a blinding light with scrapers and other dental equipment being used as, uh, “encouragement” to write this from my phone – I am submitting this of my own free will. I have lived through 5 decades in NY, NJ, 2 cities on either ends of PA and in numerous areas of Massachusetts – with as many dentists, and I have to say Dr. Knapik is the best dentist I have had by far. Of course, every time you meet a new dentist, one is always a bit apprehensive: Did I brush enough? Floss enough? Cut out sugar enough? You sit in the chair, with a paper bib on, waiting for a masked mad scientist, pulling on gloves until you hear them snap tight, coming out from behind a wall wearing extendable/retractable focusing eyepieces all while they say, “Now open wide” followed by a maniacal “mwuahahahaha.” Yeah, well, that didn’t happen. After a friendly ushering by her assistant to your reserved seating with a view, for me it was Angie, Dr. Knapik comes out to you to say hello and right from the start 1 thing is very clear, she has one goal, to do what is best for the patient. During my first appointment, one of the first things she asked me, “What do you want from your teeth?” Knowing my family history I said, “I want to keep them.” Without hesitation she replied, “Ok, good. That’s what we’ll do.” She then told me what I needed to do to make that happen. She is willing to work with her patients to keep them on track for what they want for their dental needs. Appointments are scheduled so that you have time to question or bring up any concerns – and maybe chat a bit. She is willing to take the time to answer your questions and will explain all you need to know in a way that you understand a procedure or what is needed for your oral health care. And isn’t that what you want in a dentist, someone who knows exactly what is needed and is confident knowing how to proceed to achieve it, all with your best interest in mind? Since I have had a few appointments this year already, I know the background music can be anything from Disney tunes to 80’s, 90’s, Country music or any such playlist that soothes you and takes your mind off all the pain she is about inflict- um. To Dr. Knapik’s credit, she is not one of those dentists who, in the middle of probing your teeth and gums, while the saliva vacuum sucks on your tongue, asks you a question so that you feel compelled to reply in a way that is bound to come out as, “Glap boop bleque. Nop, frouph doon.” Don’t even try, because if you do, she will be very bluntly tell you, “Wait. I can’t understand you.” And isn’t that what you want from a dentist, to be upfront and honest? Besides all the great work that goes on beyond the waiting room, how can you go wrong with the new Quote Board, containing such pearls as: I brush, therefore I am. To floss or not to floss, that is the question. And my personal favorite 2 quote mashup from Gertrude Stein and William Shakespeare: A cavity is a cavity is a cavity… – …by any other name, is still a cavity. (Brilliant!) Not to mention, while some dentists may make reference to the Tooth Fairy, sitting in this waiting room is the Tooth Chairy, that quietly greets you when you walk in. Congratulations! You made it this far and I have said a mouthful, but thanks to Dr. Knapik, it’s a healthy mouthful. All seriousness aside, Dr. Knapik is welcoming, receives you with a smile, is personable, has a great sense of humor and, most importantly, wants you to have the most comfortable experience in her workspace, as she is grateful to have you as a patient – all while, she, and her staff, use the best resources available to provide you with the finest dental care for your needs. When you venture in, her practice is bright, open, cheery and professional. It is a true reflection of the person who works within. And isn’t THAT what you want from a dentist? To sum up: Why are you still reading this? Make an appointment!

I made an appointment with Facilitated Healing Center just recently. I was having problems with pain in my legs and my left arm. I was impressed by how the rooms were setup and how professionally they conducted the interview. But most of all, was the massage I received during my session. They asked important questions during the massage and calmed down my tensions throughout. I was so glad I choose this facility for massage treatment and I have passed the word to my friends and family, suggesting them to visit Facilitated Healing Center for massage therapy.

Dr. Knapik is caring, both personable and professional, and goes out of her way to ensure that her patient’s experience is a great one! She’s full of energy and I know I’m being taken care of. The space is nice, clean, and has fun music in the background! During Covid times, she ensures everyone’s safety by checking our temperatures when we enter and having us wash our hands before our appointments and I also see her sanitizing the equipment appropriately. She’s very nice and provides great care and tells me what I need to pay attention to in my oral hygiene. Thank you very much!

I was treated in an effort to reduce the hardness, mass, and visibility of scar tissue. I had some rather large scars, from surgery, that i am now extremely happy to put in my past. Now when people say “…I can hardly see that…” I will believe them. I feel so much more comfortable in public now. The treatment was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep every time. I wish this was available a few years ago. The doctors assured me that the scars would fade, but they never did fade. Now I finally feel good again.

I think I’d be honest if I say that my experience at CSK dentistry was by far the best I’ve ever had!!! I always have anxiety when I need to see a dentist, but with Dr. Knapik it’s a comfortable and painless procedure. Moreover, she performed an amazing job on my teeth that had been ruined by another doctor at a corporate dental office. I’m also planning for Invisalign under Dr. Knapik supervision. Bet it’ll be an excellent experience as well! Also, they follow strict Covid protocols in case one worries about that. If you are looking for a professional and reliable dentist, this is the place to go!

Dr. Knapik is a wonderful, caring, and competent dentist. We agree with the virtues expressed by others and would like to add an experience that blew our minds. After my wife had surgery necessitating the cancellation of an appointment we were floored by receipt of large bouquet of flowers with well wishes from Dr. Knapik. Wow! That is who she is: a warm, caring person in addition to being an obviously competent dentist. Highly recommended to one and all.

If I could give six stars I would. Not only do you feel warm and comfortable when you walk into her office. Courtney knows her patients and follows up on life events. You can tell she loves what she does. She was always encouraging and uplifting. Thank you for always providing a positive and happy experience!

Dr. Knapik is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. She makes me feel comfortable getting cleanings and all that jazz. I highly recommend her. She’s professional and very cute! You can’t and won’t go wrong with her. She cares about her patients way more than other dental places. I love my dentist and I’m sure you’ll be saying the same if you have Dr. Knapik as your dentist.

Just had my semi-annual dental appointment today. They just reopened after pandemic. It looks like they are very exciting to meet patients. I enjoyed the whole time with Dr. Knapik and Angie, talked about family and life while got my teeth checked and cleaned. It felt very comfortable when sitting in the chair and they told me they just renovated the room and all equipments were new! A great place to recommend if you live close to quincy.

Came highly recommended so we travelled the distance from western MA. She was extremely accommodating to my husbands urgent dental needs. He is highly anxious with any dental procedures but with her exceptionally friendly and caring personality it allowed him to feel at ease. We’ve now transferred the entire families care over! Thank you!!!

Dr. Knapik and her staff are awesome! They care about me as a patient, but more importantly, as a person. The office has been completely updated recently. Additionally, the office has implemented strict policies regarding COVID-19 and both the policies and cleaning procedures make me feel safe getting my teeth cleaned. If you’re looking for a dentist, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Knapik!

Dr. Knapik is wise beyond her years, both intellectually and with her skills. I hate going to the dentist because I never feel like they do a great job, and it hurts. But Dr. Knapik explains everything she’s doing in a way you can understand, and is gentle and effective at what she does. Since I’ve been seeing her, I feel more confident about my teeth and dental health. I highly highly recommend her!!

What can I say about Dr. Knapik? She is amazing !! I’ve never liked the dentist, but she has made all my visits the most enjoyable experience. She has a hands on friendly approach on patient care and treatment. I would recommend her office to everyone I know! She’s amazing with an emmaculate office and staff!

Courtney is amazing!! I have been seeing her for a number of years at her old practice, and she makes me like going to the dentist. Honestly, if my insurance would cover 4 cleanings a year, I would go just to see her. She is a wonderful dentist and a wonderful person and a joy to be around. You really can’t find anyone better. Case in point: I am chasing her to her new practice. HIGHLY recommend!

Had a great appointment at Dr Kanpik’s, she was very gentle and immaculate in her work, made me feel at ease throughout my long appointment and even laughing at times. Angie ( her assistant) was very gentle as well taking my xrays, since I tend to gag lol not a fun feeling. They really seem to love their jobs and it is a fun environment to be in. I highly recommend her !!!

Dr. Knapik is knowledgable, prompt, and patient! Not much more to ask for from a dentist. It is a small practice and she will ensure you receive the proper care. She takes time to explain and answer questions. She and her staff are always professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

I started seeing Dr. Knapik a couple years ago, when I lived in Quincy. I’m now in East Boston, and won’t even consider finding a new doc closer to home. She is well worth the drive… gentle, comforting and caring. I’m a big baby when it comes to dental work, but never felt like I was in better hands than hers. That’s saying a lot when you consider that my previous dentist was my own dad!

I scheduled an appointment just to try it out as I had never had a massage before. Turned out that when I went I was having back pain and the massage helped so much. Maura worked specifically on the area that was sore as well as everywhere else. I felt better right away. She talked me through everything she was doing and working on. It was relaxing and helpful and informative! The staff were all friendly and kind. Clean, comfortable environment. Parking is a bit tricky.

I had an appointment during a very stressful time when my muscles were all tight. While there, Loraine, not only gave me a wonderful massage, but she also asked how I was doing and allowed me to talk about my stresses. I really felt like she really cared about me and really wanted me to feel better. It was so relaxing and my muscles felt so much better. It truly was like a mini retreat. Go for a visit, you will be glad that you did.

I have never had a better health care provider. I started going last November due to what I thought was an emergency with a root canal. I was able to get an appointment fast. Everyone was incredibly empathetic and kind. I’ve had some experiences in the past that gave me serious anxiety about going to the dentist. Since going to this practice to get much needed dental work done which I had put off for years, my fears have been alleviated and I look forward to my appointments. Dr. Sanders Knapik and her team are patient, understanding and thorough. I cannot reccomend them enough!

I highly recommend Dr. Courtney Knapik to anyone anyone looking for dental services in the Greater Boston area. Courtney and her team are talented professionals that make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. In addition to making my teeth and smile feel and look great with regular cleanings, Courtney is also very straightforward and helpful in explaining different treatment options for other teeth related issues. There is no pressure or “upsell” to try different expensive treatments like you might experience at other dental practices. The office is also a clean and relaxing environment with all the modern tools that you should expect from your dentist. Highly recommend!

When you are satisfied with service you recommend. I was at Facilitated Healing Center a while ago and was very impressed by the level of professionalism. I’m self employed and am in need of relief because of stress. Stress does harden my back and shoulders muscles. My first treatement was so rewarding that I recommended my niece to go there for her massage and I continue to tell my family and friends about this place.

Dr. Knapick is incredible. Her work is thorough and meticulous. She truly cares about her patients and their satisfaction. I’ve never been so impressed with a dentist and I am extremely picky. She is very intelligent and very honest. She only has the patients best interest in mind. Plus she listens and is willing to spend as much time as necessary until you are happy. I have so many positive things to say about her and trust her skills. This woman knows what she is doing and makes the experience completely enjoyable too! If you want someone with a lot of talent and strong attention to detail then she is your go to. I could speak accolades and drive 45 mins (with traffic) now just to continue to see her and I’m very hard to please. She is the absolute best and the sweetest person too!

After years of not having proper dental care, I was extremely anxious about seeing a dentist. I was worried that I would be scolded for not seeing a dentist for many years, and I was worried I would be told that I had a ton of work that needed to be done (more worried I would be told I needed work done that I truly didn’t need). I finally decided to see a dentist and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to see Dr. Knapik. Dr. Knapik was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She understood my prior predicament and didn’t make me feel bad for not maintaining regular dental checkups. It was important to me that my dentist gave me honest advice/recommendations regarding any dental work that needed to be done and didn’t tell me to get work done that wasn’t needed. Dr. Knapik listened to my concerns and exceeded my expectations. I was able to resolve any dental issues in 2 short visits, and now I will be seeing her regularly every 6 months for cleanings. I appreciate that Dr. Knapik schedules her appointments in 1-hour blocks, so I didn’t feel like I was being rushed through my appointment. She doesn’t make you feel like you are just a number or a source of income. We spent some time chatting at the beginning of our visits, which was a great way to put my nerves at ease, and made me feel like I was in the presence of an old friend vs being in the presence of an intimidating medical professional. Overall she is polite, friendly, professional, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I could not be more happy with the dental care she provided me and I have no complaints or concerns half-a-year later. If you are looking for an honest, friendly, and skilled dentist who won’t make you feel bad about your previous (or lack of) oral care, Dr. Knapik is a must-see. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to muster up the courage and see her. If you have a lot of anxiety about seeing a dentist, I would definitely recommend Dr. Knapik.

Super-duper! I learned that “my” dentist sold her practice but she’d assured me that my records would remain with the new dentist and that I could continue patronizing the practice if I wanted to do so. Well, I truly loved my dentist so I was a bit concerned about starting over with a new dentist. I needn’t have worried: Dr. Knapik is an excellent dentist. She was friendly, professional and answered my questions and explained what she was doing as she worked. And, lucky me, since I am a Disney fan because my appointment was on the weekday that she plays Disney music in her office. She told me that she usually has a different music theme each day. Her staff is wonderful, too. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone (in fact, I already have.)

I previously was a patient of Sarah Kim who was a gentle, friendly, well knowledged Dentist in North Quincy. I was so crushed two years ago to hear she was leaving Quincy . Dr. Kim’s replacement, Dr Courtney Sanders Knapik, is as amazing as Dr. Kim. She has a wonderful presence, very warm and inviting. She is a gentle, thorough and caring dentist. Her office is clean and comfortable and her staff is very friendly and accommodating. During Covid all precautions were taken and I was very much at ease. With Dr. Knapik you have her undivided attention unlike some dental offices that become a factory. I have recommended Dr. Knapik to three people, all from Weymouth, and all continue to travel the distance to get to her as she truly is a great dentist. I highly recommend a visit to her.

Dr. Knapik is a great dentist!! She is personable, professional, knowledgeable and funny. She always knows how to make light of all situations. For me, going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do, but she makes it very pleasant. The technology, cleanliness, and friendly staff also are big pluses of this practice. I enjoy how each time I go, I can have a conversation. with anyone. The team also made sure to take all necessary and extra health precautions due to COVID, which is important. I also noticed how there is brand new technology that looks very impressive and professional. I look forward to my next visit 🙂

There is something very special about Dr. Courtney sanders knapik and her whole office staff. Her staff actually seem happy to be there. Even when you’re their last patient of the day, they still have genuine smiles on their faces. Courtney is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She actually remembers what we talked about on my last visit and will bring those topics up again. A true people person with a big heart. She is not intimidating at all like some other dentists who yell at you for forgetting to floss every day lol. I would absolutely recommend going here!

Dr. Kanpik was cheerful, positive, professional, and importantly very gentle while operating inside my mouth on my first visit. She doesn’t rush you in and out like other doctors. I felt the biggest value was her insight into other related areas that are not commonly examined by most dentists such as SLEEP! I didn’t realize what Dr. Knapik pointed out that my oversized tongue could be causing my sleep apnea (she didn’t know I had) and other sleep disturbances. Now I’m scheduled for a sleep study! All from one trip to a smart dentist? Works for me. Dr. Knapik – Just wanted to stop by and give my thanks. See you next time. Keep it up!

Absolutely love Dr. Knapik. I came to her with a chronic problem, and while we may not have gotten to the bottom of it yet, I feel like I have someone on my side and supporting me through this mystery problem. She and her staff are extremely attentive, kind, and quick to respond. I’ve never had to wait long for an appointment (and I’ve had quite a few “emergency” appointments”!) I have severe dental anxiety, and my current problem hasnt been helping, but I feel a bit more at ease knowing Dr. Knapik is helping me out! She even did a filling for me BY HERSELF! I couldn’t believe it! So much love for her and the team

I started seeing Dr. Knapik when she was part of another practice in Cambridge, then followed her to Quincy when she opened her own. I have porcelain veneers on my two front teeth that needed replacing and she did the most fantastic, fussiest job. She’s a perfectionist, a quality I greatly value in any healthcare provider. She’ll always tell you what you absolutely have to do vs. “nice to haves,” and the full explanation behind both. Beyond that, she and her staff are all a delight. They make going to the dentist a legitimately enjoyable experience, something I hadn’t thought possible. Plus, if you have time, you can go have lunch at Tony’s Clam Shack after. 🙂

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Knapik for nearly 3 years and we could not be more satisfied. We first started seeing Dr. Knapik when my father was struggling with fit issues from dentures he received from another dentist; Dr. Knapik spent over half an hour making adjustments until he was completely comfortable. What I enjoy about Dr. Knapik is that she takes the time to explain each diagnosis and ensures that you understand all your treatment options, which has allowed me to play a more active role in my own dental health.
