Got a root canal today and w o w. I have never had such a wonderfully painless experience at the dentist. I’ve had root canals done before and they would go for at 2 hours with constant pain. At Covina Smile, it took less than an hour with 0 pain – seriously it was a dream. I did it with Dr. Hubbi (the endodontist there) and she was to the point and super professional. Dr. Sima is super friendly, actually cares and very knowledgeable. I’m getting a procedure this Thursday with her and am actually looking forward to it. Love them – highly recommend.

So I was eating and lost a cap on my tooth with a lot of pain from an exposed root. Dr. Sima saw me personally and tended to me with such tenderness and experience. She made me comfortable and her staff was absolutely professional and kind. As a traveling ER nurse I appreciate providers who are just not outstanding in their knowledge but also exceptional in character! I would dive from Redondo Beach to West Covina just to see her and HER SMILE! Thank you so much Dr. Sima Khavaran, you’re the BEST!!!

I’ve been searching for the one dentist that I can trust and rely on and I can gladly say that my searches stop here. I’ve visited Dr. Sima’s office about 3 times within this year and I’ve experienced nothing but true professionalism from her and her staff. Both Dr. Sima and the dental hygienist are amazing at their craft. I’ve experienced very minimal discomfort from deep cleaning to replacing a new crown. Dr. Sima even offered me her headphone and her iphone for me to listen to while getting my work done. My most recent visit, Dr. Sha… (sorry, did not get her whole name) was in the office because Dr. Sima was on some sort of a global relief tour. Dr. Sha was incredible and very friendly. She has the softest touch and she made the whole process almost pain-free. Both Dr. Sima and Dr. Sha along with the dental hygienist and their staff are top notch. I would highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a dentist you can trus

I had an extremely painful toothache and Dr. Sima solved the problem.  It was an emergency and she saw me right away.  Addressed the issue and took such gentle care of me throughout the entire process.  From getting the tooth pulled, to the temp, to the crown, it was actually a delight to return this dentist’s office often.  It surprised me how personable everyone was in the office, Dr. Sima especially.  She is one of the most caring individuals I have met.  She even followed up with a phone call to check to see how I was doing after it all.  Talk about going above and beyond.  If you have to go to a dentist, which we all do, choose Dr. Sima.  You will not regret it.  She will change your mind about the fear that is sometimes associated with ‘going to the dentist’.

Nothing but great things to say about this dental office. Dr. Sima and her staffs are the best there is. I feel right at home when I come in for a visit. I’ve been coming for years and no reason to look any where else. The new office is super nice and clean. The staff are always super friendly and professional. The hygienist is awesome and Dr. Sima is out of this world!

Since I was a child I have been to different dentist offices. They were either painful or way over priced. My parents were recommend to Dr. Sima and none of use have left since! Dr. Sima caters to every single need that we have with our mouth. My little brother had a little loose tooth and called Dr. Sima personally at 8 o’clock at night to ask her what to do. She walked with him step by step on what to do about his little loose tooth. She is so heartwarming and so caring for her patients that it makes you feel very welcomed. I couldn’t have never asked for a better dentist. She is completely unparallel to any dentist in the world. Thank you so much Dr. Sima and all the lovely ladies that assist her!

I used to go a dentist near my house within a short walking distance, and of course that was very convenient. Even though it was taking me less than three minutes to walk to the dentist office, I was very unhappy with the service I was receiving. Because of the bad experience, I decided one day to spend a few hours and reviewed perhaps more than fifty dentists in several cities near my house (San Dimas). When I reviewed Doctor Sima Khavaran, I was so impressed with so many favorable comments that I read about her that I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Sima and I am so glad that I did.
In a few words, the office is clean, cute, colorful and with a personal touch. The doctor and her staff are warm, caring, professional, helpful and friendly. Unlike other dental offices, most of the time, you may make appointment the same week you call and very seldom you need to wait beyond your appointment schedule. Bottom line, I am happy that I spent a few hours and I found Dr. Sima. She is an amazing dentist and definitely I recommend her to whoever is looking for a great dentist.

It had been a loooong time since I had been to the dentist. I was hoping that I would not ever have to go to  the dentist because I make concerted efforts to take care of my teeth…all of them! Well, some things happen despite how much care I take. Thus I had to go to the dentist. In a nutshell, one of my grinders towards the back of my mouth broke while I was eating. I looked on Yelp for the closest and best rated dentist in my area and behold I found Dr. Sima! First I have to say, I was quite nervous because of the length of time since the last time I had been in a dentist’s chair and I was kind of expecting undesired discomfort provided the restorative work needed to be done required it. Dr. Sima was very personable and accommodating. She gave me a thorough preliminary diagnosis and applicable options; up to a possible root canal. My hands started getting very sweaty. Nevertheless, I did not need the root canal! All I needed was a filling. Dr. Sima did a stupendously remarkable job!! She reduced my nervousness significantly! I barely felt the numbing injection she gave me. She allowed me the use of her cell phone accompanied with her headphones to listen to my favorite music selection while she performed the dental procedure; It was clearly her suggestion and I obliged! 🙂 Hearing the dental tools at work in my mouth is not music to my ears…lol Before I knew it, the dental procedure was over and my tooth looked brand spanking new! As if nothing ever happened to my tooth! She showed me the before and after pics….WOW!! Exceptional!!! I went in for a one tooth procedure and she detected a developing issue with a different tooth and I said “go for it”! She quickly took care of the other issue and viola- done! Excellent!! I highly recommend Dr. Sima!! She does grade AAA professional work.  Her office size is quaint and not overwhelming; It is well appointed and she utilizes the latest in modern technology; her staff is phenomenal and I couldn’t say enough about my experience!! Oh! and lest I forget to mention, through Yelp I saved 10 percent off my total bill! Another benefit on top of my phenomenal experience!! Don’t spend too much investigative time trying to find out who the best dentist is…. Dr. Sima Khavaran is… book your dental appointment  with her…you won’t be disappointed!!

I just want to say Dr.Sima is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and professional. I went in today to talk about my results I had with another orthodontist office where I had my braces. I have been insecure about one tooth but she immediately told me that my smile was flawless and explained my results. Instead of her wanting to take my money she DIDN’T which shows how much she cares about her patients and doesn’t have a secret agenda. I plan on moving dental offices because she genuinely cares about your dental health. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sima’s for roughly five years and have no intention of looking elsewhere. Dr. Sima is not only a great Dr. but a great human being. Her and her staff care about their patient beyond dentistry. Dr. Sima wants what’s best for her patients and it shows. She is honest and portrays herself with great integrity. As awesome as she is she’s not the only on, Michele the hygienist is another great member of Dr.’s team. After spending an hour with her my teeth have never felt cleaner. Michele is always asking about my family and other aspects of my life and it really makes me feel like I am more than just a patient to her. I feel like I am apart of the Covina Smile family and that what makes this place stand out from the rest. Let’s not forget Kara, the emotional support dog. If you fear dentist he will definitely help your worry’s subside.

Growing up my biggest insecurity was always my smile.    Every single time I laughed my mouth was covered, and I wouldn’t wear lipstick as to not bring attention to my mouth. I was incredibly embarrassed. Thanks to Dr Sima and her amazing team I get to smile with confidence. As an adult I didn’t want to wear braces for years, I only had them on for 6 months. My chipped tooth was fixed and I also had some gum work done. Every single one of those appointments was always easily scheduled and as others have stated I would barely be seated when I would be called in. Every one of the girls that work the front desk or the back has always been polite and knowledgeable about any questions I’ve had. I’m hesitant in posting my before pictures but I really wanted to show the vast difference Covina Smile has given me. I’ll always be thankful, there’s no other dental office I would go to.
