Crestwood Dental has been a lifesaver for our family! First, my husband who went without seeing the dentist in six years, was seen and they took great care of him and his first cavities. Next, they fixed a horrible crown for me done by another dentist just after moving back to St. Louis. Lastly, they were great with my seven year old and she doesn’t fear going to the dentist. The staff is friendly and courteous and there are no “hidden charges” or “surprise procedures” that I have experienced with other dental groups. Highly recommended to friends and family.

I would recommend the Crestwood Dental Group to anyone who asked me. I have been receiving dental care from them through the Veterans Administration. Even though I am not paying the bill, they have treated me as well as I would have expected if I were paying the bill myself. They have the latest technology to improve their diagnostic and treatment plans. From the moment you walk into the door you know that you are in somewhere special. The receptionist addresses you by your first name like a friend and just not a patient. All of the staff go out of their way to make your visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. If you are looking for a new dentist, then I would suggest that you seriously consider going to Crestwood Dental Group. They are a first class operation.

Just had a great experience going through my teeth whitening consultation today with Angie (Dental Hygienist) and Dr. Maxwell. They were very welcoming (I even got a goody bag for being a new patient) and told me what to expect throughout the whole whitening treatment process. I’ve had nothing but a great experience with Crestwood Dental. They have been taking care of my teeth for the last four or five years. My wife first started coming to Dr. Maxwell several years ago when we moved to their neighborhood, and then about 3 years ago I switched from my dentist of 25+ years as the commute was too far. We have both been extremely pleased with their services and their staff. Dr. Maxwell is a very caring, knowledgeable dentist with an extraordinarily easy-going manner. His support staff is excellent also, a shoutout goes to Ricki the assistant, for all her support with questions, and she does an excellent cleaning! Oh, they are not the cheapest bargain in town, but if quality work and caring is what you appreciate in dentistry, their charges are still very reasonable, and they will come through for you! We both highly recommend them. UPDATE 9/28/21: I needed several cavities taken care of (obvious problems of decay, some visible in the front). I had asked if more than one could be corrected at one time, and they indicated they could do these five in one sitting. Having never had numerous problems at one time before in my life, I was very nervous! Turns out, there was nothing to be afraid of! He and his caring and skilled assistant Becky were confident and careful, making my worries fade away! Dr. Maxwell utilized some modern tech (including the Waterlase laser-based drill), while always ensuring I was comfortable. Result: I recommend them even more now! You won’t find a more caring, skilled or capable dentist and team anywhere!

Is it possible to love the dentist? The answer is yes! I have never been a fan of the dentist and it’s been a big source of anxiety for me. I switched to Dr Maxwell almost 6 years ago, and have needed quite a bit of work done- root canal, fillings, and of course cleanings. I have never felt so at ease at the dentist before. Dr Maxwell works quickly, describes everything he’s doing, and intentional or not, holds conversations that distract me from the work that is being done. Weird to say that I kind of enjoy going to the dentist. The office team is so friendly and pleasant to work with, I honestly feel like I’m going somewhere fun. My 2 small kids (2&5) would also agree. I’ve never seen kids so excited to go to the dentist before. Ricki has such a way to make the kids comfortable and eager to allow her to clean their teeth. I’m so happy to have a dentist office the whole family enjoys. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Crestwood Dental and Dr. Maxwell for at least 15 years. I even used them for dental care when I moved away for a couple years. I would see them when in St Louis on vacation. The hygienists there always do a first rate job with the routine cleanings, getting the teeth very clean without tearing up tender gums or causing pain when you have tooth sensitivity. Dr. Maxwell has a great bedside manner, and can spot a cavity with unerring instinct. I also like that he invests in the latest technology. The last time I needed a filling, this new laser device he had was able to numb me painlessly without using a novocaine shot! I can’t recommend Crestwood Dental enough!

He selected Crestwood Dental Group as his new dentist’s office. He raved about the thorough exam, clear explanations of services needed as well as a breakdown of benefits and insurance coverage. I took my husband’s advice and scheduled my appointment. Ricki is a phenomenal and friendly hygienist who was so detailed with the steps she took during my cleaning. Dr. Maxwell was kind and thorough and very inviting. The guesswork and uncertainty I had once experienced with other offices is in the past. I appreciate the attentiveness and warm environment and will gladly drive the hour to receive care that I believe cannot be matched! AMAZING OFFICE!!

Dr. Maxwell and all of the staff are very nice and professional. I don’t take care of my teeth like I should, but no one scolded me over it! Instead they told me exactly what needs to be fixed, how it will be done, and how much insurance will cover. They even have this camera which shows you exactly where problem areas are on each tooth. Overall a great experience for someone who isn’t the biggest fan of going to the dentist.

I have had so much trauma around dental work as a child, that I avoided them as an adult. When I found Dr. Maxwell at Crestwood Dentist, I was frightened at first but now I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. He has the Best and Brightest staff! Office is spotless and all the very latest in equipment, including a laser that makes everything easier! I have never had to wait more than 5 mins to get in the chair. Dr. Maxwell and his entire staff are amazing! I haven’t always been a fan of going to the dentist and everyone here makes it a great experience! I’ve gotten cleanings, cavity’s filled, and a crown and through each one the hygienists and staff have been wonderful! They talk you through everything, make sure you are comfortable & are fast and extremely efficient. Can’t say enough good things!
