I have been wearing a crown on my broken front tooth for 51 years. I won’t go into the trouble, expense and lack of self-esteem that this has caused. Long story short. I spent less than two hours and a very fair amount of money with Dr. Bird and his brilliant technician, and they’ve given me an upgrade that’s sensational at a very fair price. Best takeaway — If you go Crosstown Dental, you’ll get served by geniuses with no “genius level” ego involved. If there are better choices, I sure as heck haven’t found them, and I broke my front tooth in half in 1969.

I absolutely love this office. It has a modern decor and each staff member is extremely kind, patient and professional. I always feel welcome here, and each visit I am explained my insurance out-of-pocket costs (if any) and the hygienists walk me through each step of the procedures so I’m left feeling comfortable. The office is clean, they have great programs on the televisions in front of your seat, and I’ve never had to wait long in the waiting room. I personally feel the head dentist is a little heavy handed, but compared to how great every other aspects are and how well they’ve taken care of my teeth it’s usually something I don’t stress over.

Dr. Bird and his staff are just the best. I’ve been going to them for regular cleanings but I started to have horrible pain in one of my teeth and needed a root canal. It was a super tricky procedure since the canal had almost completely closed but Dr. Bird and his staff were able to do it better and faster than an endodontist could have. In the past I wouldn’t have trusted my previous general dentist with doing procedures, but I would never hesitate to go to Dr. Bird for a root canal or an implant. He’s extremely knowledgeable and up to date on current technologies and procedures. The staff is so friendly and kind, the space looks awesome, and everyone is is genuinely concerned about your health. I recommend crosstown dental to all of my family and friends.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Crosstown Dental. They have a streamlined check-in process which means I’ve never even gotten to try out the waiting room couches. Dr. Bird and his staff are all so personable and put you at ease. Camille is the best hygienist. Ever. Everything about the office was obviously designed to put folks at ease. I highly recommend!

Five out of five stars in every category! Dr. Bird and his staff are in a league of their own! Finally, someone has made going to the dentist painless and without evoking anxiety. Dr Bird and his staff operate with such precision. They are courteous and honest. You can trust them. They are genuine. They do a phenomenal job and they do what they say they are going to do… all in a timely fashion. He perfected my crown all in one day!

My experience was absolutely amazing! Friendly and professional staffing with up to date dental equipment. The experience and the office is beautiful and so retro!! FYI: Brooke West was my Dental Hygienist, she was very personable and took great care of me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went in SO scared, and I left the office feeling completely confident and so ready to get dental work done! It was a true miracle. I didn’t have my insurance card, they called Delta Dental for me, and they actually texted me to see if I could come earlier since they had a cancellation. I am so excited for my deep clean and retainers (I mean, who says that?!)… from Tina to Taylor to Jordan I felt totally cared for. The whole team is phenomenal and all the latest and greatest (and safest) technology to make get my teeth back to being properly maintained post-pregnancy.

We are in Memphis while my son is receiving treatment at St Jude. To say it was a bad time to break a tooth is an understatement. I have pretty severe dental anxiety but everyone at the practice went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I was able to get a crown the same day as my appointment and the whole experience was virtually painless. If we lived closer to Memphis I would transfer to them for my regular dental needs. I cannot say enough good things about this practice and the people there

Crosstown Dental Group is the best dental experience I’ve ever had! The staff is super friendly, the office is high-tech, and the Dentist is very knowledgeable, as well as personable. Camille, my hygienist, was gentle and made me feel comfortable during my cleaning. I have recommended all my friends and family to this dental office and they have had great experiences too. This by far is the nicest dental office I have ever been in. Originally, I just called to check on insurance coverage since I work in the building and would love the convenience. I called and then walked up to the office. I was greeted with a smile by Lisa. She was great and did exactly what she said she would regarding my questions and contacting me. Because of that, I made the decision to go ahead and schedule an appointment. I usually search and search through reviews and health grades, but something about this office was just so welcoming. The day of my appointment, today, I knew I made the right decision in electing Crosstown Dental. Brooke, my hygienist, was friendly, thorough, and gentle. She explained each step of the way and took time to ask if I was okay during the process. Dr. Bird was friendly, quick but thorough and I already scheduled my repair and my next cleaning. I love the feel of the office and the atmosphere. The office is really up to date and nice to be in but most important, the staff is great. I would recommend Crosstown Dental to anyone looking for awesome care, a great staff, and up to date dentistry.

Never will I fear going to the dentist again!! The staff and doctor were amazing. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or hurt during my cleaning. While I was there Dr Bird went ahead and filled my cavity which kept me from having to take a day off work. He also filled it without any lidocaine which was AWESOME!!! I never once felt any pain or discomfort during my treatment.

This was the absolute best experience I have ever had in a dentist office. The staff was so kind and professional. The office is beautiful and the equipment is new and high tech. My exam was so thorough. From the time I stepped off of the elevator it seemed like I was visiting a friend’s house. Dr. Bird was gentle and made me feel comfortable, secure and entertained. Meagan was great at explaining each charge on my itemized bill. Lisa made scheduling my appointment a breeze…and Brooke my hygienist was so sweet and very thorough with my examination. You get what you pay for and they’re worth every penny. The only thing that could have improved my visit to the dentist would have been COCKTAILS served!

Dr. Bird and the entire staff at Crosstown Dental Group were impeccable. From the moment I walked into their office until the time I left, I felt a personable connection. They are all very professional, knowledgeable, and ready to assist. The family like atmosphere combined with the homely office setting made my visit very pleasurable. Entire Staff extremely nice. Very personable. The office moral was a plus , seemed like everyone wanted to be there and serve patients . Incredible knowledge flowing throw out the office .For a person like myself (I’m afraid of the dentist) but I was very comfortable no fear at all. If i could give more stars i would ! felt like I walked into an office full of friends! I am coming up on being 7 months pregnant and have had some crazy sensitivity when it comes to brushing and flossing my teeth. Camille, the hygienist, was so patient and careful to communicate with me the entire time to make sure I felt at ease. I almost cancelled 3 times before my appointment because I was SO nervous I might get nauseated!! but thanks to her it was a breeze! Dr. Bird was so kind and personable as well. I can not say enough. In and out and my teeth have never been cleaner! I can’t wait to see them in 6 months! (Now that is something I have never said about a dentist!)

WOW. Beautiful space. Awesome technology I’ve never seen at any other office. Dr. Bird was awesome and gave me the quickest filling I’ve ever had. Staff was so nice and welcoming. They took good care of me. I’d recommend this practice to anyone. My experience was nothing short of amazing and pleasant (even with the filling!).

I have an illogical fear of the dentist. However Dr Byrd and his team took up most care of me while I was there. They did everything they could to make me feel at home and pain free. I would 100 % refer anyone needing work done to go here. And the end result was just omg I feel like a new man.

Crosstown Dental is the best dental group in the city. One of the most incredible things is the fact that the staff know me by name. They really take the time to get to know their patients and it feels special. Brooke is my hygienist and she is absolutely wonderful! Dr. Byrd is amazing and will stop by just to say hi even if I’m just getting a cleaning. I’ve never waited in the waiting room and if I have an emergency, they get me in that day without a problem. They have their system down to a science!

Dr. Bird and his staff treated me so well over the past few months.   I had a very complicated dental issue that 2 other dentists  couldn’t resolve. CDG had state of the art equipment and the know how to find me an easy, AFFORDABLE solution. I am so glad they came to highland row!

I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s “no wait” dentistry. You go right on in. There are TVs mounted so you can watch them while getting your teeth cleaned. Everyone is so incredibly kind and great at what they do. I’m 35 and I have NEVER had a teeth cleaning that didn’t hurt until I came here. Taylor is absolutely wonderful and a great hygienist. My gums are super sensitive and the cleaning is thorough and not painful at all. This is the one dentist visit that I never dread. I’ve recommended coworker and we all agree on how great of an experience it is.

I was so worried about going to the dentist and if I had incurred any long term problems. They were so great! They explained everything they were doing and presented me with a plan of care. My teeth feel the best they’ve felt in a long time. Totally got to watch whatever I wanted on TV while they cleaned my teeth. Shout out to my girls Meghan and Kristina for making everything easy and, dare I say, pleasant!

CDG has a great staff that’s friendly, efficient, and always responsive. The environment of their office is high-tech and clean. It feels like top technology and I always know I’m getting top care. They made the Six Month Smiles process easy, including helping me navigate and leverage my dental benefits very well. Don’t hesitate to go see them! You won’t regret it.

This is indubitably one of the finest dental offices that the city of Memphis has to offer. The service offered here is remarkable. It is a very welcoming, clean, & modern environment that makes visiting the dentist a highlight of your day. They are very punctual. As soon as I arrived I was directed to the dental chair. I was honored to be served by the exceptional hygienist, Camille. Her hospitality is to be commended. She is highly skilled and knowledgeable as it regards to her profession. She made me feel as though I belonged there. She also was very sanitize & made me more comfortable with the idea of getting work done to my mouth during this pandemic. Dr. Bird was also very welcoming. He too is highly competent in his line of work. I’m happy to say that I’ve found my new dentist home & I recommend Crosstown Dental Group to anyone who wants to put their trust in people who will properly care for your dentals and value you.

They are great. I decided to try them out because they were close to my previous apartment, and I have never regretted it. Even though I have moved, I still make the drive to see Crosstown. My hygienist, Brooke, is always so cheerful and nice. They have great service, and make you really feel cared for. They are also understanding of late work schedules, and are always willing to take me in the afternoon (around 4), although I am usually the last patient of the day. Also great price transparency, and are up front with you about your dental situation.

If you are looking for a new dental office look no further! I’ve suffered from severe dental anxiety for most of my life and this office is the first that I’ve been able to just breathe and relax. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond accommodating. The moment you walk in you are taken back to a chair, no waiting! Dr. Bird is incredible! Compassionate and upfront about treatments. No surprises or judgement. I would highly highly recommend this office.

Fantastic price transparency! No wait policy can’t be beat, everybody is so kind at that. I was welcomed by the most fantastic beast (beautiful dog & it’s the Concourse, get over it lol) State of the art equipment, gentle hands, and easy to talk to staff. $50 reservation fee caught me a little off guard, but they’ll apply it to whatever balance is due down the road. Beautiful view from the operating rooms. CLEAN place. I’ve found a dentist I want to go back to.

Excellent practice! They’re a No Wait clinic so you go right into the dental chair. The rooms are open and spacey but there’s still more than adequate privacy. There’s a great view from large windows or you can watch the TVs mounting up high. My dental hygienist was amazing! She listened to me and was very thoughtful and great at what she does. It was the least painful cleaning I’ve ever had – I have sensitive gums. The people up at the front desk are very friendly and welcoming. And the dentist is fantastic! Really friendly and nice. I’m already recommending people to go. It’s a great experience for something I know I generally don’t enjoy – going to the dentist.

Amazing service. We love Crosstown Dental Group. The people are amazing and you feel so comfortable. They always make sure that you’re doing great. They always have a smile and are happy to help with anything. If you didn’t like the dentist before, you’ll love it after Crosstown. I love going to Dr. Bird and my hygienist every time. They are lovely and care about you in a way no other dentist has. I would recommend! They also break down all of their prices and make sure you agree before they do anything.

The staff was great! The lobby and cleaning rooms were very clean. They were very efficient and paid close attention to detail when it came to reviewing x-rays (even for just a routine cleaning)! They were able to get me in at a decent time and their directions to their location were spot on! Definitely recommend them to anyone!

From the moment Megan answered the phone, to meeting Addey, and then Dr. Bird introducing himself, I was blown away!! This was by far the best experience in a dentist office or anywhere that I would go for services. Their office is state of the art, with their own lab right in the office, with the latest and greatest technology! Same day crowns, a mouth guard, and the Glow for teeth whitening, will be in my future at Crosstown Dental in 2018! My entire experience from arrival to leaving was a 10. I went with leteral tears of fear and left with a smile. Thier advertising is spot on. No waiting, no offensive odors, no pain, friendly environment. After a traumatic experience as a child causing me to avoid dentist at all cost I found for the first time in 31 years I can’t wait until my next dental appointment. Crosstown Dental, I can not thank you enough.

You will not find a nicer staff at a dentist office anywhere. Everyone is very engaging and professional and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Dr Bird does an excellent job of explaining procedures, answering questions, and takes a genuine interest in the individual. Also, Brooke (dental hygenist) is upbeat and did great work! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Dr. Bird and his staff are BEYOND AMAZING! I have been afraid of dentists since my last experience, but they made all of those fears irrelevant. Got my tooth extracted the same day and everyone was so professional and sweet. shout out to the doc, his wife & his INCREDIBLE crew. I am happy to say i have found my forever dentist. 10/10
