I walked into this place on a whim because I needed a mouth guard because my stress translates to angrily grinding my teeth in my sleep. I figured I’d be making an appointment for another date, but turns out I was able to get a mold taken of my mouth and get my guard ordered that date. The assistant was great, but more importantly gentle. I abandoned my other dentist because she was angry and irritated at the fact that when she works on my mouth, I wince in pain instead of calmly raising my hand to signal her to stop. Because that’s someones natural reaction to pain, raising a hand? I had to leave. She was just plain mean. This place is the opposite of that, and I’ll be back here for my bi-yearly cleanings.  I have recommended  dr. taheri to all my family and friends!

I visited this office about 3 weeks ago and I had an awesome experience with Dr.taheri. I’m a very fearful patient and I needed to have two wisdom teeth extractions. Doctor and staff were very accommodating and made me very relaxed through all the process of my treatment. I would highly recommend this office if you are a very fearful patient!

At Culver City Family Dental, you just don’t get a dentist; you get an entire team dedicated to executing a first-rate dental practice. From the moment you walk in the door you sense the difference that people here are not merely working for a pay check, but, rather, are totally engaged in their art. Dr. Taheri is awesome! Super friendly, really honest about what’s going on and is also great about making me feel really comfortable. These guys also have all of the state of the art technology which is definitely a plus. For a person who does not like needles, I have to say that Dr. Taheri did a great job numbing my mouth before doing a root canal and crown and all without me trying to run for the door. This was a virtually painless root canal during and after the procedure. Quick word association of my experience? Exceptional, upbeat, professional, personable and caring! I give Culver City Family Dental and Dr. Taheri BIG thumbs up!

I went to this dentist a couple of weeks ago. I am kind of surprised at the reviews I am seeing. The staff here is great and the dentist is really one of the best on the Westside. He can give a no-pain novacane shot… and I have gone to enough dentists to know that this is NOT the norm… I had a root canal and crown done… I actually called a couple of other dentists in the area to get pricing… and Dr. Taheri gave me the best price. I highly recommend this dentist!!

I have neglected my teeth for about a decade and I have been to about two dentists here in Los Angeles this year (they were horrible to say the least, no communication no empathy and they seemed to be only interested in my insurance policy). So I was referred to Culver City Family Dentistry by a colleague. From the get go, the office administrator (Berta) took control, communicated to me all my options financially, showed empathy and had Dr. Kevin Taheri and his fantastic team come up with a game plan so that I could finally smile after a few years of embarrassment with decayed teeth. Dr. Taheri is fantastic, gave me back my smile and I am so grateful for his (his entire team!) efforts. One last remark, this office is run really well! Clean, professional, and they all seem to work very well together! Berta (Office administrator) runs a tight ship. Would you rather go to a dentist that runs a sloppy office or a dentist that runs a tight ship?
When it comes to my teeth, give me a dentistry that runs a tight ship. Look forward to maintaining my smile with this team!! SO GRATEFUL!

I have been going to the Culver City Family Dentistry for several years. I like Kevin and his staff; they are friendly and very caring. They work with dental insurance companies; which I do have but he works out affordable dental care for me. I used to live in Culver City and I went to his office and I was very please with all of them. Today I live in Torrance and I still make the trip to their office because I feel they are fair, friendly and do a great job and to me it is worth the trip when you find a great dentist.
