I started my orthodontics journey in November 2014. After the consultation appointment, Dr. Fell gave me a detailed description of what was needed and was honest on the length of treatment. As an 30 year old adult, she told me that the timing would take longer since my teeth were set in place for a long time. I had a severe overbite, one tooth on top of another tooth, my two front teeth were not the same length and a misaligned bite. In March 2015, I had brackets with rubber bands installed on my back molars to help shift my misaligned bite. Due to all of my issues, I was not eligible for Invisalign, so I had to go the traditional braces route. My braces were officially put on in November 2015. The office was great with appointments and appointment reminders. I was able to be seen at every appointment. The entire staff is polite and remember you, which is saying something in this day and age. Dr. Fell and Dr. Borenstein were patient and answered all my questions. It was a lengthy process, but worth every minute! My teeth are perfect and I know that I could not have received better or more detailed-oriented care. I know that I won’t have to get braces again due to the level of expertise and care I received. I highly recommend Culver City Orthodontics! My advice is to wear your rubber bands and wear your retainer at all times. If you have to spend thousands of dollars on your teeth, make sure to follow directions!

If you’re looking for a decent Orthodontist office, don’t come here.  But if exceptional is what you’re looking for, then look no further.  What you will and can expect from Doctor Fell and her team is professionalism, family friendly atmosphere, and always be greeted with smile and care.  I am especially impressed by the office forward thinking in creating a better experience for the younger patients.  Well done.  Once in my life, it’s a pleasure going in for my appointments.  You won’t be disappointed.

My son left for college this past fall and one comment he always gets is, “wow great smile and beautiful teeth.” Thank you Dr. Fell for changing my sons appearance so dramatically. When he was young his teeth were growing in the center pallet of his mouth. Dr. Fell explained the process and accomplished our goals. Dr. Fell’s results exceeded our expectations! The before and after molds are amazing. My son loves this office because they are always on time, explain what they were going to do, and didn’t take long. The office is immaculate, the staff is very friendly, and there is always someone there to help if your child breaks a wire, looses their retainer or runs into an issue. My son still returns annually to be checked and we both appreciate the care he has received from Dr. Fell, Dr. Borenstein and the entire staff. I know that going to the orthodontist is something that people don’t usually like to do but truthfully I look forward to all of my appointments. Everyone makes you feel welcomed and they really do their best to try and give you a great experience every time. Since COVID they’ve only stepped up their game at the office in the sense that they’ve implemented so many more procedures into ensuring that you feel safe. As someone who deals with anxiety, I feel at ease knowing that not only am I being protected but the staff is as well. They look like they want to be there and genuinely help you because of the safe environment that is being provided. There’s air purifiers throughout the office, hand sanitizer stations, hand wash station, plastic dividers separating each patient chair, and all staff have PPE. I’m really happy that I made the decision to follow through with CCO for my adult braces treatment. (Special shout-out to Leydin- she is truly amazing because she explains everything that is happening during my appointment, what to look forward to on my next appointment, makes sure I’m comfortable at all times, and answers all of my questions. Love her!)

Best Orthodontic office in the area…hands down. The care and attention given by the orthodontist and their office staff is top notch. I’m currently having orthodontic work done at 41 years old and I couldn’t be happier. We are just now starting the process with our 7 year old and they are beyond amazing wit her. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for an experienced, thorough and caring team of orthodontists.

This mother and daughter duo are so truly awesome! They make you feel welcomed and comfortable with everything. They were thorough in explaining the services needed and why. I felt at ease when it was time for my daughters braces. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Borenstein and Dr. Fell for her Orthodontic needs. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Fell’s for around a decade and despite having to get work done on your teeth being one of the less pleasant things in life, I am so happy with the care I’ve received from Dr. Fell and Dr. Borenstein. I had a lot of problems with my teeth when I first began to go to the orthodontist, my bite was really messed up and my teeth were pretty crooked. So I have had expanders and retainers to prepare for the braces. Then I had braces for around 4 years- a pretty long time but that was mostly due to me being bad about wearing my rubber bands in high school. After that i got retainers, which I am still wearing and have kept my smile looking good. Dr. Fell is so knowledgeable and has always been really good about explaining what was happening with my teeth and maintaining great communication so I always felt I could trust her with my teeth. After being a patient of theirs for so long, I’ve seen their practice grow significantly and I still feel like I am receiving their full attention when I need it, like when the wire in my retainer snapped and I had to have it fixed quickly. The office is very professional yet still feels really comfortable and all their equipment is nice and clean and up-to-date. Everyone who works there is friendly and knows what they are doing. This is a great place to go for kids as well as adults (I have been a patient there as both). It’s always pretty busy in there so you always need to make an appointment, however the waiting is usually pretty minimal. Also, if you need to make an emergency appointment, like if something breaks or comes loose, they will put a lot of effort into accommodating you so you can get the problem straightened out as soon as possible. My appointments have pretty much always gone smoothly and been run efficiently. I’ve never had too much trouble finding a spot out front with the metered street parking. They also have a convenient station where you can brush your teeth/floss before your appointment. The care and attention you receive from Dr. Fell, Dr. Borenstein, and all the other assistants/employees has made this such a smooth process. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for an experienced orthodontist for yourself, or your kids, who will keep you informed and be transparent about what you are spending your money on.

This place has honestly been life changing for me… I’m able to walk around and confidently smile. I was nervous at first, and was even scared because I have a very strong gag reflex, and was skeptical about getting braces on. Also because I went to another orthodontist that wasn’t so good. So I was scared to go to another one… But when I came to this orthodontist, I found them to be very nice, and super careful with my teeth. I was very comfortable, and was very pleased that they took the effort to make it comfortable. I recommend this place to any person who has a strong gag reflex, and need some  teeth to be straightened, as they made my teeth look perfect!!

I had an ugly teeth for half of my life due to the large spaces between the bottom front teeth and  misaligned upper teeth. My previous dentists thought that nothing could be done to improve my smile without breaking couple of bridges and possibly crowns that I had in my mouth. Being already 48 years old, I gave up doing anything about my smile until I changed my dentist, who recommended seeing Dr. Fell. Couple years later, I can be in these pictures -” before and after”. I never believed that it was possible in my case just with braces and one implant that filled the empty space. I live 70 miles away from Culver City but it was all worth going there at least once a month for the last 2 years. Dr. Fell is an outstanding professional who knows what she is doing and always oversees each treatment, and also a very nice person. Her Staff is very friendly and accommodating – starting with front office clerks and ending with technicians, who always did a great job. They were always on time with appointments – I never had to wait. Now that my treatment is over, I miss coming to this office  – they sort of became my extended family. I highly recommend Culver City Orthodontics to anyone in need of orthodontic treatment! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Picture this scenario: it’s the Friday before the first day of school and your 8th grader’s tooth falls out (it’s a fake one that was attached to his braces.) Your regular orthodontist is closed that day and has no emergency person on call. Oh yeah, and you need to catch a flight out of town that afternoon. Aaaghh!! Luckily, our dentist recommended Dr. Fell and, after I explained my sob story to the receptionist, we were told that, despite being fully booked, Dr. Fell could slot my son in between appointments. We rushed over to the office and, after a very short wait, my son was ushered in to see Dr. Fell. I had been warned by the office manager that they don’t usually do significant work on another orthodontist’s patient, just enough to make them comfortable, but I pleaded for them to consider how emotionally uncomfortable my kid would be showing up on the first day of 8th grade missing a prominent tooth right up front! Dr. Fell completely understood and she reattached the tooth. My son left with a confident smile and I made my flight! And how much did this emergency appointment cost me? Not a cent! Dr. Fell was our orthodontic angel that day and I will never forget it. I plan to send lots of business her way!!

YELP INSIDER TIP FROM DOREEN (AKA AZN PERSUASION): I love the mini waiting room on the inside after you’ve brushed your teeth and the teeth brushing station. And Dr. Fell always calls back her patients personally, at least it has been in my experience. She has checks her own vm when her staff is not there so she understands office and admin process is just as vital to the customer service experience along with the dental aspect of a business. ***** The offices are very nice, clean, bright, airy and it seems as though all the staff has been there awhile. Everything runs like clock work. Everyone is dressed well and is friendly. The office areas have room for xrays/photo taking, a private office/consult room with dental chair, and open dental stations. She has computer stations at each dental station for efficient record keeping. Everyone is very responsive and great to deal with.
