Like many older and/or poorer folks with Medicare/Medical HMO dental plans, I had heard not good things about many local “dental mills.” I’m pretty particular about who is in my mouth with a drill.  But I “bit the bullet”, so to speak, and went to Culver Del Rey Dental for an overdue exam and x-rays.  The first visit was intimidating.  It is a large facility with a large waiting room.  I left still unsure.  The dentist wanted to crown teeth and do implants.  At first, I was concerned and then I realized he was merely telling me the best possible treatment for my teeth, which of course was not covered by my insurance and for which I was lacking the funds.  So we simply scaled down the treatment plan.  I’ve been back quite a few times since and actually now I look forward to doing to the dentist!  As I got to know everybody, they became warm and friendly and relaxed.  They are hard working and honorable dental folk.  Nobody pressures you.  They simply start with the best treatment plan and then come down to what the patient and insurance can actually cover.  Of course, a little patience helps with making appointments or visiting.  That seems to be lacking in some of the negative reviews I read.  Work with them and they will work with you.  Take you nervous self and your HMO dental insurance to Culver Marina.  You will thank me.

I’ve been a patient of Culver Del Rey for a while now and have finally decided to write a review (which I usually don’t). The dentists are gentle, the hygienists are amazing and overall the staff are nice. The office recently has had a change of ownership and there’s a huge difference! The prices are reasonable and I’m very happy with the quality I’m receiving. I’ve been to several dentists and have chosen this place for myself and my whole family. The work I have received is nothing but perfection. Thank you to this office and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dental work! 5 STARS!!!

My first visit to this office was this Monday August 6, 2018 and I was an emergency patient.  From the moment that I walked in the door I knew that I was going to be okay.  The front office team are amazing.  Shout out to Ms. V who was so helpful in contacting my insurance for verification and Ms.Brianna who was there comforting me during the entire procedure.  I ended up having to have my wisdom tooth pulled so you can only imagine the pain that I was in.  Yesterday August 7 2018 I stayed home to rest and the Doctor called me as he was worried about me .  He wanted to know how I was doing.  His name is Dr. A.  When you come in ask for Dr. A he is only there on Monday’s and I think Fridays.  This is my new dentist for life.  I will refer anyone to this office especially if you are a big baby like me when you go to the dentist they are a real special group of people here. Thank you Dr. A and your entire team for treating me like family on my first visit.  OH and last but not least I can’t forget the office manager Derrick he was awesome as well.  Annie P.

I just would like to send a huge THANK YOU to Vicky, Olivia & Teresa!!! You guys have always  treated me like family. The new owners are very lucky to have you girls apart of their team. I will continue to be loyal to this office as long as you guys are still there. I’ve met the new owners they both are a fountain of youth that this facility needed the renovations look amazing.

My sister’s and mother have been going to Culver del Rey for 20+ years. Now I have my own children and we have had a great experience. My son and I have both gotten our braces removed recently. Our teeth are beautiful! We are very happy with Dr. David and his staff. Victor G. Was also very good with my adjustment to my retainer. I highly recommend this place for your othodontics and teeth cleanings. If you are in to aesthetics, it it a very pretty office too. Very high tech.

Dr. Agaki has been my dentist for over 15 years! His dental work has always been top notch and his rates reasonable. He is a kind dentist, kind to his patients; and I have seen/heard him exhibit superhuman patience and a magical calming effect on the most daunting, unruly of children. I’m sure he could tend to you or your (much more genteel I’m sure) progeny with just as much gentlemanly ease and politesse. The offices on Washington are clean and equipped with modern machines, tv screens for clients, ample waiting room and ample dental suites to serve multiple clients seamlessly. My always dentist, whom I recommend whenever I’m asked for a referral.

I was very nervous when walking in because i cant stand the dentist but there was a very helpful dental asst her name is Jocelin. She help me from the min i walked in till the last min i walked out walked out she made me feel very comfortable with the whole situation she made me feel at home and for me that is a huge plus !!! I will definitely be back thank you Jocelin your are the best!! see you guys soon..

I have been a patient since early spring 2017 for both dental and orthodontics. I was reluctant to try anything in regards to straightening my teeth prior to coming here, but am so incredibly happy with the results so far! Great office, always fast and efficient.

Just had a cleaning with Joselyn, and all I can say is ask for her. Beg for her. Not only will she spend way too much time working on your plaque, she will keep you laughing the entire time. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed going to the dentist, but this is for sure the best time I’ve ever gone to the dentist. Thank you Joselyn, and good job Culver Del Rey for hiring such a cool person!

This high rating is for Zoe, the dental hygienist who did my cleaning today. She was a consummate professional and did one of the best cleanings I have ever had. It’s people like Zoe that make me love the differences that make the USA the great country it can be.

Thank you dr.moradi for always taking care of all my orthodontic needs. I will forever refer my friends and family here. Everyone in this office is always friendly and helpful. It’s such a great family environment and very comfortable. Shout out to everyone in the office for always being kind and helpful and keeping me smiling!Thank you again for everything.

This is a wonderful dental office. I came in expecting to find a single dentist with a few assistants but I was completely wrong! There are several doctors working here as a large team. I came in for some fillings and crowns and they took care of everything I needed. I even started straightening my teeth with active retainers and I’m already seeing results. The office is very clean and well kept! Derek worked with my insurance and and really helped me out. I highly recommend this facility to all 🙂

Dr. Agaki’s professional recommendations, superb care & concern and patience has restored my smile by replacing my weak and broken down teeth with beautiful crowns and implants. The doctors here are SUPERSTARS! I recently starting coming to Culver Del Rey because my insurance assigned me this office. I needed a root canal, a crown, periodontal work, and a cleaning. I was treated by a team of doctors. Some were general dentists and some specialists. Unlike most dental offices where all the work is done by one dentist who claims to know how to do everything, this office has specific doctors for specific dental needs. This is how dentistry should be done. I’ve been to several dentists who mention they do it all. This is never true. Culver Del Rey has all the dental specialties under one roof. You will be happy you came here!

Came to this place it was great it has newly been remodeledand it looks good. the new owners are wonderfulb they have a excellent orthodontist who name is dr maradi he’s best with his skills not to mention he’ is also one of the new owners. Who has great prices and is willing to work with you. I love how this place has every speacialist doctor here,its a one stop shop, friendly and nice looking staff great attitudes, great doctors  great prices and excepts most dental insurance. If your looking to have any dental work done i highly recommend this place .

Culver Del Rey Dental is amazing. I had a negative experience at a related office; however, the dentists at this office are awesome and knowledgable. The dentist was able to determine an issue that occurred with tooth 18 that I needed to keep an eye out for in the future which NONE of my prior dentists noted ( I keep up with my 6 month visits regularly). I highly recommend, please DO NOT let a few bad reviews keep you from great dental care!!!

Today was my second visit and my first cleaning. This is a massive dental office, but the friendly staff and amazing service makes if feel like a small town dentist office. Joselyn was my hygienist and she was amazing. Great personality, made me feel comfortable and did a great job with my cleaning. No more coffee stains. I would highly recommend this dental practice and Joselyn for your next cleaning.
