If of all I want to thank the staff, the front desk and manager are awesome and go out of their way to help out and answers all your questions. Dr.Southers takes time to answers all your questions and makes you feel comfortable. Personally I’m like most and hate dentist but I would highly recommend.

Dr Erik Southers is a very kind and welcoming person. i got braces with him a couple months ago, and he was very kind about everything. his front office staff are very nice and very welcoming they helped me get my braces on so my teeth would not be terrible anymore. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Today was my second visit at Cypress Orthodontics. The first two visits went great. The staff is top notch. They truly care about their patients. I was hesitant about getting braces as an adult but they put my mind at ease. I can’t thank them enough.

I can not say enough about Dr. Southers and his fantastic staff. Dr. Southers is amazing! Bev and Juleen at the front desk are friendly, efficient and accommodating. Erica and Bertha are friendly and gentle assisting Dr. Southers with patients. My son Jordan started/ended his treatment with Dr. Southers and his teeth look great. I also got my beautiful smile from Dr. Southers and couldn’t be happier. So proud of my smile. I always tell people who are contemplating braces to make it happen and do it! I highly recommend Dr. Southers.

Dr. Southers and the team at Cypress Orthodontics are such a delight to be around, you almost don’t want your braces to come off because that means you won’t be seeing them anymore!! Fair warning, this will be somewhat of a lengthy review, but definitely well-deserved 🙂 I made the decision to get braces as an adult to fix some minor issues as a result of letting my teeth shift after braces when I was a kid, and I am so glad I did! From the moment I had my consultation with Dr. Southers, I knew I picked the right place to perfect my smile. I had the usual x-ray, exam, etc. and he took the time to go over the treatment method that I needed and they answered all of my (million) questions about the treatment he chose, pricing, insurance, and payment plans available. I decided to go ahead with treatment, and they took my impressions/molds during the same visit as my consultation, which saved me from having to come back for another appointment. Bev, one of the receptionists, even hand-delivered my impressions to my insurance’s office to cut down on time between my consultation and approval for treatment. My insurance company’s office is just down the street, but still– definitely above and beyond to ensure my treatment got started as soon as possible. Throughout the treatment, I was greeted by name each and every time, and looked forward to the conversations I had with the girls/Dr. Southers. Again, the little things that make all the difference and contribute to a truly personalized experience. Dr. Southers also explained each step of the process and answered absolutely every question I had at each adjustment appointment. Oh– and they give you tokens at each appointment that you can redeem for gift cards!
I have an appointment to get my braces taken off tomorrow…nearly six months ahead of schedule and my teeth look beautiful!! Thank you Dr. Southers and everyone at Cypress Orthodontics for making this such an enjoyable experience!

Dr. Southers and his staff are AMAZING!! This is a such a professional and friendly practice. My son is a former patient and my daughter who is a current patient have had great results. Over the past 13 years, I have referred family and friends, all with the same positive experiences. Tina and Bev in the front office as THE BEST, always super friendly and accommodating. Appointments are quick and thorough. Dr Southers is great about explaining the treatment plans and progress along the way. Also worth mentioning is their lovely new office in cypress, very modern and clean. There’s have fun incentives for the kids to earn movie tickets, gift cards when they get regular check ups with their dentist. I just can’t say enough about this fine Dr and his staff of awesome folks. Thank you all for making our family’s Ortho experience a great one!!

Thank you Dr Southers for being so through and complete with my children explaining treatment. You and your girls are always nice and friendly they are there in when we need them. I recommend them often to my friends. You can’t go wrong. If you want the best smile, see Southers!

As a kid I got braces with Dr Southers and when I failed to wear my retainers (as some kids do) I returned in my mid-30s to get them again. Dr Southers was so great my first time around that even if my insurance didn’t cover them, I was going with him again. He and his staff are kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. I have always been welcomed and enjoyed each visit during treatment. Their new office on Cerritos is beautiful, new, and up-to-date. I can’t say enough good about the services I have had. If you are looking to get braces, this is the place to go.

Although I’m not excited to have braces for the third time (hmmm, maybe I should have worn those retainers!), it is always a joy and pleasure to walk into Cypress Orthodontics! Dr. Southers is an excellent practitioner, full of knowledge, and takes great pride in his work. The only thing better than Dr. Southers (sorry dude!) is the entire team. Each person I have met in the office has been friendly, professional, and an absolute pleasure to know. My straight, confident, and healthy smile is almost complete. And this time I will wear my retainers. YES, I WILL!

Dr. Southers and his team are awesome!! I am in braces….for the 2nd time, but couldn’t be happier with the treatment at this office. I love that they have extended hours, so I can either go early in the morning or late in the afternoon depending on my schedule. I also liked that the doctor has put together a thorough plan for me to make sure I don’t end up in braces again! I am so excited to have found such a great office so close to my house. Yayyyy!!!

This is the best orthodontic office.  Dr. Southers is great.  He takes his time at every visit to ensure your questions are answered and that you’re making progress with your treatment.  The office staff is top notch.  They are all very accommodating and very professional.  I also found Dr. Southers’ fees to be very reasonable.  Finally the office itself is brand new and gorgeous.  The ambiance is very welcoming just like the staff.  I highly recommend Dr. Southers and his staff.

I remember when this place was just a plain lot for years. Fast forward a few years and we were in need to find a specialist. Our general dentist works fine for us, but we needed an orthodontist for our son. Ironically, our dentist friend Peter Hong (BTW, he is terrific if you’re in the San Jose area) recommended Erik Southers. Because how do you choose an orthodontist? You just don’t know. And thank goodness this place was only a mile away from our place because coming here monthly was just pain free. Kids can check in themselves on the pad and get called in almost immediately on their appointment time. There’s a water cooler, and a self serve Keurig in the waiting area along with a kid’s play area just across the view. Just when you’ve finished taking your first sip of coffee, your kid would be already done for his monthly fitting. There was only one time we left here, and the fitting was a tad tighter than our kid expected. Other than that, everything went fine. We personally did cash at first because our insurance came in a little late but they do take insurance that help paid for our monthly visits. Thank goodness. His office is the one on the right. If you need to get braces for your kid, I recommend coming here.

From our daughter’s consultation to putting on braces today, we have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Southers and his staff. Juleen is so friendly and helpful. She made our daughter (and us) feel welcome and part of the family. Bertha was amazing and made the whole experience fun. Dr. Southers put on the braces with ease. Our daughter was pretty much smiling the whole time! We look forward to being a part of the Cypress Orthodontics family and would most definitely recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic work.

Absolutely great doctor and staff!! Very knowledgeable and very friendly!! It was a wonderful experience!! If you want a beautiful smile they can definitely give it to you!! No matter how crooked your teeth are they make miracles happen here!!! They gave me an amazing smile and a super perfect bite!! I will forever be grateful!!

My son just finished his orthodontics with Dr. Southers today! It was a long haul 2 years, but Dr. Southers and all the awesome ladies that work for him made the time fly by! He actually enjoyed going there. I highly recommend them,  they do great work and the office is beautiful.
