Dr. Jeffrey Cohen is a fantastic dentist. He is kind, gentle and compassionate. His entire office staff are always there to serve your needs with great understanding. The office is extremely welcoming and once you enter the office, you will find you are in superior hands! (Just look at all the five star ratings to confirm!) Finding a great, gentle, compassionate dentist is a difficult process, especially in Orange County. Attempting to “connect” with the right professional can often be quite consuming and require much investigation. Dr. Jeffrey Cohen is one of the “outstanding dental offices” you will find!

I was referred to Dr. Cohen almost 15 years ago. I have since been a regular patient of Dr. Cohen for numerous procedures ever since. He is very reassuring, professional and reasonable in every aspect of this practice. Not only is he extremely accommodating when I need to see him but I have had occasion to need his assistance after hours and he has always made himself available to help. I’ll admit I’ve never been enthusiastic about visiting any dentist, but I never hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Cohen when the need arises. I would, and have recommended him to friends and family and I still have them all as friends after they have visited Dr. Cohen. Five Stars in my book! Mike R. Mission Viejo

COVID19 and needing emergency dental care? Really? Now? Pain emanating from my jaw up through my temple, around my eye socket, down my jaw to my chin and throat. The pain even went my shoulder. Who to see? Who is seeing anyone? Well, Dr. Cohen answered my plea for help ASAP. BTW, I was NOT a current client of his. I was just a voice in his mail box, but was not treated that way. He was the ONLY dentist that called me back. He explained his pricing, provide me options, wasn’t pushy and said he would take care of me even if it were after hours. I said I’d think about it. That I night when the pain was unbearable I texted him asking for an early AM appointment. I knew it was going to be a long night. He called his assistant and confirmed the appointment within 30 minutes. They were caring, compassionate, professional and COVID19 prepared. But honestly, it was the caring treatment that I received and the rigorous honesty that I appreciated the most. My care required an oral surgeon. Ugh! Fear not! Dr. Cohen placed a call to a local oral surgeon, got pricing for me and waited for me to make a decision. Upon saying “yes”, he set up the appointment. All I had to do was show up. And show up I did. Dr. Baker, at Niguel Coast Oral & Facial Surgery, said I really lucked out by having Dr. Cohen be the one who cared for me. He said he is really a fantastic dentist. AGREED!!!!!!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Today, less than 24 hours post-op I am pain FREE, have no swelling and am well on my way to recovery. I called Dr. Cohen and a few other dentists on a Sunday at 6am as an emergency call. Dr. Cohan was the only one that returned my call. He scheduled to see me right away and took really good care of me. He was compassionate, friendly and was concerned of my situation. He managed to schedule me a specialist appointment the next day at 8am. He really understood the urgency of my situation and did what he could to help me. I am very Happy and grateful he returned my call. Thank you for everything you did for me.

My family has been going to Dr. Cohen for over 20 years and his work has always been the best I’ve ever experienced. He’s always taken great pride in his knowledge and skill. Dr. Cohen’s communication and interpersonal skills are also top notch–and the same goes with his staff as well. Great with any age patient. When working on your teeth, you want someone who knows what he’s doing and wants to get it right. Cohen is definitely that kind of professional

Broke a Tooth  late Friday. I called 4 different dentists that advertised Saturday appointments.  It was after hours, but Dr. Cohen returned my call with 10 minutes and set up an appt for me at 8:30 Saturday morning. (His was the only return call I received). He also gave me his cell number in case I needed to contact him prior it appointment. Though I was not an existing customer at his practice, the process was simple. I showed up at 8:30. His assistant was ready for me, and I filled out the  paperwork.  They opened up the office specifically for me, which I thought was pretty amazing. Actually, I have never experienced service like that. After a quick x-Ray, he fixed the tooth. All in all it took about 45 minutes. In this day and age, being treated this well is almost unheard of. This is obviously the kind of place you can feel really good about coming to. BTW, my tooth feels great, and I feel very confident in recommending DR. Cohen to you.

I’ve had a couple of cleanings and one dental issue where I cracked a tooth. I really appreciated how Dr. Cohen explained what cracking a tooth entailed and the recommended treatment. I also like how he suggested a progressive approach of going with a crown first and then evaluating the need for a root canal instead of just jumping to that first. I had an issue when he was on vacation and was redirected to Dr. Thai who covers for him. She was very nice, efficient and fast.

Daniel Cohen, DDS, is an exceptional dentist and I simply will not go anywhere else for my dental needs.  I have tried other dentists in the past and they cannot compare to the quality of treatment I receive from Dr. Cohen.  Moreover, the staff at Dr. Cohen’s office is extremely friendly and caring and are far superior to the staff I have encountered at other dentists offices.  I absolutely recommend Dr. Cohen for all of your dental needs!

Dr. Cohen’s office has always been terrific, and with their new protocols in place for COVID protection, they continue to be!  Friendly, efficient staff, top-notch dental care – there’s everything to like about Dr. Cohen and his office.  We love Dr. Cohen and have referred several friends to him,who have also been very happy new patients!

Cracked Tooth. If you are looking for a Mission Viejo dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Cohen. I cracked a molar eating a Gobstopper of all things last Halloween. The pain was unbearable! He saw me first thing in the morning and since the crack was so deep had to pull the tooth and give me an implant. It’s completely natural looking!
