I have recently seen Dr. Wank for some cosmetic work and a crown replacement. He has been extremely honest and transparent since the first visit and has gone out of his way to ensure that I am 100% pleased with all of the work being done. The front desk staff is always very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this practice.

I have terrible teeth and have had painful dental issues and even a few emergencies in the past couple years I’ve been seeing Dr. Wank. He is unbelievably flexible and is always available for an urgent appointment and even early in the morning so I don’t have to miss work. With multiple crowns so far and a root canal, I feel like he is slowly but surely fixing the mess of my mouth that my past dentists have made. He’s a genuinely caring dentist and never makes me feel bad about how terrible my teeth are, which is always a relief. I was very untrusting of dentists because of past experiences, but Dr. Wank has gained my trust and is always sure to explain everything through x-rays and pictures and never does anything without explaining it and providing his rationale for his recommendations. He is an expert in crowns (and I’ve had bad ones so I know!), root canals, and even routine cleanings, and I would recommend him to anyone. He makes sure that the charges after insurance make sense and that he gives the best price possible, which is especially thoughtful given that the work he does will last many years to come and is invaluable to me. I have never waited long to see him for the many appointments I’ve had (even the emergency ones!), but I absolutely would if I had to because he is such a great dentist! His office is clean and conveniently located, and his staff are very friendly and helpful. No idea what these non-5star reviews are doing on his page! Highly recommend 🙂

I can not believe what it says here. I had a totally different experience with Dr. Wanks office. I was told at NYU that I had gum disease. I was referred to Dr. Wank. He was compassionate, and spent great time explaining what my problem was and how to treat it. Some areas that were damaged could not be fully repaired but other areas could! He made my mouth so that I could easily clean it and helped me in preventing further rapid deterioration. The loss I had prior to his treatment is not reversable but the areas where he did work are better, and as he told me, if I maintain it I will not get worse! I don’t think he did anything that was not necessary. I have recommended him to my co-workers and they had only nice comments as well.

I went to another dentist for a while and found Dr Wank when I was in pain and needed someone on a weekend. Cause of the pain was incompetent dentistry by my previous dentist, which he has found more and more of and yet has worked hard, not taking any easy options, to save my teeth and repair as much damage as is possible. This is one dentist I actually trust and the lesson I had learned is choose your dentist carefully. I am ecstatic with his approach, his open honesty, his range of skills including periodontal surgery, and his commitment to his patient. I don’t think you will find any better dentist in Manhattan, and if there is one, I would still go here for his patient commitment.

I’m a very skeptical person, being a New Yorker. Today just met Dr Wank and he made me believe again that are good dentist out there. As a kid i love going to my dentist and today i felt like a kid again. Very professional staff and excellent work on just temporary bridge, in less than 2 hours can’t wait to see the permanent.

I was in desperate need of a dentist as I found myself in extreme pain with my tooth. After moving to NY recently from LA being only a few months now I was a bit concerned on who I can trust as my dentist here in NY. A colleague of mine referred me to her dentist as I was in desperate need. On a Sunday as I couldn’t take the pain anymore I have Dr.Wank a call to get immediate assistance, he was able to help me right away! He called in prescriptions until I was able to see him to subdue the initial pain. He kept in touch with me via phone until I was able to see him, asking how I was doing and if the medication was working, he also answered and reply to all my calls and texts during all this as well. Then he saw me at my earliest convenience which was at 6AM just so he can help me relieve the pain faster. Him and his team are very friendly and helped are very quick with their service I can be any happier! My tooth is 100% I won’t be going to anyone else but Dr.Wank! Best customer service and the experience was fun and welcoming. I’ll be sending everyone his way! Thank you Dr.Wank!!!

Because of bad past experiences with other dentists, I was extremely fearful when I first visited Dr.Wank.  I suffered from anxiety and broke out in cold sweats.  However, I discovered a different experience after my first visit with Dr.Wank.  His professionalism, understanding, extreme patience and gentle touch have erased all my past fears.  I highly recommend him and do so to all my friends and family and consider him to be the best in his field.

Its been 10+ years since I have gone to the Dentist, so you can imagine my nerves as I walke into the office. Dr. Wank’s office was both clean and comfortable as I waited to be seen. Both the office assistant and Dr Wank greeted me kindly and I was in the chair within 10 minutes. Dr Wank took the time to project my X-rays and describe in depth what he was seeing. Dr. Wank, knowing that its been a long time since I have seen a dentist/fear associated with dentistry, did not impose unnecessary procedures on me. Instead, he recommended that I wait a bit to see how I felt (I have one slightly impacted molar) since extraction was not absolutely necessary. I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Wank and will recommend him to all of my friends and colleagues…. I should also mention that I was out of there within 45 minutes. I HAVENT BEEN TO THE DENTIST IN 10+ YEARS! Couldnt have asked for better.

Dr. Wank is a wonderful dentist. I stumbled upon him when I was trying to find a dentist via 1800Dentist. I have been visiting a dentist under my parents insurance for some time, and recently visited because of chronic tooth pain. The dentist at American Dental told me that my teeth are fine. I’ve always had great teeth–no cavaties whatsoever, so this did not alarm me. The pain increased and it was impossible to book an emergency appointment with them. I found Dr. Wank who showed me a horribly impacted wisdom tooth and thoroughly explained the procedure and the necessity of it. He made me feel comfortable and the procedure went well. I am going back to have another wisdom tooth removed. As for the other experiences, I cannot comment as everybody has their own experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Daniel Wank for 18 years, I would not consider another dentist. When i first met him his challenge was to fix all my $6.00 haircuts (if you know what i mean ). I have had nothing but good experiences, he and his staff are very accommodating. His implants are done to perfection, he did two for me , and they are the strongest teeth in my mouth I remember on one occasion, I called him in the middle of the night , and he return my call relatively quick. I will be his patient forever.
