Excellent service! Painless treatments! I had a very detail teeth cleaning by Dr. Chen, told him about this tooth that bothered me for years, I still had on and off pain even after 3 root canal treatments. Dr. Chen referred me to Endodontist Dr. Chang in Pasadena, had the retreat done, then come back to Dr. Chen for a Crown. Staffs and Dr. Chen explained procedure before start, numb the area (I’ll have to say that’s the only part I felt little pain) next you know I kind of fell asleep :p. They scheduled me to come back in two weeks, had the crown delivered. Many Thanks to Dr. Chen and Dr. Chang, after all these years, I am pain free. Highly recommend this dentistry to all my friend!

I generally don’t usually post reviews, but I had to make an exception for Dr. James Chen. I created an account just so I share my previous experience at his dentistry. A little background, I moved out to the west coast a few years ago and was necessary to find a new dentist. I was referred to by a friend in Arcadia that highly suggested we try Danimere Dentistry. Within my first new-patient check up, I was amazed by how thorough Dr. Chen is. I had many questions especially after we looked at my x-ray to check for cavities or others and was very grateful for how patient Dr. Chen was with me and made sure that I understood my current oral health status. Before he does anything, he always informs you what he’s about to do so there are no surprises at all and is always making sure the patient is comfortable. My previous check up I needed 3 fillings. To be honest, it was painless. I think might have even dozed off for a second. I appreciate how he doesn’t needlessly suggest doing fillings as he acknowledges that some still have a change to be cleaned with more flossing. I haven’t had any troubles with my fillings so far and they seem to fit very comfortably. His team members also contributed to the positive experience as they are all VERY friendly and sincere. I had no trouble scheduling and rescheduling appointments at all as they try to find the best time to squeeze me in. Long story short, great experience and safe to say I’m sticking with Dr. Chen. Dr. James Chen did a wonderful job on our routine teeth cleaning, he explained our teeth condition very detail and with great patience after the examime, he also cleaned our teeth extremely gentle and thoroughly, my son and myself were very pleased from that teeth cleaning experience. I then scheduled a deep clean and filled the cavity as Dr. Chen’s suggestion, it was long hours process, I was very nervous from beginning, but just a while later, I felt that I could be relax and counted on his gentle work, I’ll definitely be back to compete another side of deep clean without fear next week. If you’re nervous and afraid of seeing a dentist, Dr. Chen will be the one can help you. I also like to give a lot of credit to front desk Wendy, warming welcome and absolutely nice and easy to work with, CoCo is excellent assistant as well, they’re a great team work together ! I had canceled another 3 dentist appointments near by me for my daughter and husband, instead planning to drive from Chino Hills to Arcardia to see Dr. Chen, your can see how much we like them !!!

This is the Mercedes Benz of Dentistries. Here’s where Dr. Chen excels beyond all others: 1.) Customer care: James spends the extra time to not only be completely through, but also help you understand how o better care for you teeth. Many of the other dentists in the area operate like a Toyota dealership, where its all about speed and numbers. Not here. You’re treated like a real patient, where proper knowledge for you to prevent future problems is imparted. 2.) Excellent Equipment : Up-to-date and advanced dental equipment all meant to help give you the best dental experience. There’s high resolution X-rays and their vac system has a small bit to it, so your jaw can relax while being worked on. 3.) Amazing dental work : I’ve never had a dentist more gentle than Dr. Chen. I had several cavities filled, on different occasions, never felt a thing during the novocaine injections. I never had a better experience. Dr. Chen is the Ivy League gold standard. I’ll be moving to Northern California soon, but in the future will make the flight here to get my dental work because he is that good.

Because of a bad experience at another dentist, I didn’t come back to any dentist for quite awhile. So naturally when finally coming back I had a bunch of issues to handle. Dr. Chen setup and walked me through my treatment plan and every visit since my first has been excellent. Like most, I have a lot of “dental anxiety” but the doctor here makes sure to take time during the visit to make sure things going smoothly. If something is wrong, or hurting, he will take the time to make sure I am comfortable before continuing the procedure. Reception and billing have also been a breeze. Faye has taken the time to work with my insurance to get me the best rates. She checks in the day before my appointments to remind me about my visit, and follows up with me later after I leave to make sure everything is going well and answer any follow up concerns I might have. I still have a lot of work to do, but my dental health has greatly improved and I appreciate the extra care that Danimere Dentistry offers and will continue to come here.

While visiting my sister, I needed to get my teeth cleaning done. She recommended her dentist, Dr. Chen at Danimere. It’s a small office that is clean and comfortable. I went in with embarrassing stains on my teeth and he did a through job of cleaning them all. He was informative, relaxed, and gentle. Unfortunately he also found a couple of cavities, which I came back for a second visit. Again, I had a pain free and relaxed experience. I’m very happy to have taken care of the cavities and I would come back again for my next cleaning.

Dr. Chen, Wendy (their Office Manager), and Coco (his assistant) are all awesome!  They all take personalized care and customer service to the next level.  I needed two crowns and 8 cavities filled.  Dr. Chen took the time to explain the procedures to me in detail, and never rushed me through any of my many questions that I had.  The technology and imaging equipment that they have at the facility is very high-tech and really helped me to see what was truly going on in my mouth.  My procedures have been pain free, and I am extremely pleased with the craftsmanship.  I am going to recommend Dr. Chen to everyone I know!

Dr. Chen is an example of a dentist that has many accolades and also a dentist you can trust. He takes time during his procedure to ask you if you feel any pain and trust me, I did not feel any pain at all! His skills are very gentle and precise and he makes sure everything is perfect before he lets you leave his clinic. Front office staff and his dental assistant are great and professional and courteous. Highly recommended!

My second time visiting Dr. Chen.  First time was to fix a filling and this time is to replace a missing crown.  I would describe Dr. Chen’s style as efficient and precise but with a gentle touch.  The quality of his work is first rate.  He also tries to minimize the discomfort as much as possible to ensure a relaxing and pleasant visit.  Highly recommended.
