I ended up finding Dr. Shiri after another dentist messed up 2 of my front teeth. What a blessing it has been to find this dentist. He is a true artist, comparable to Leonardo da Vinci in dentistry. He made my front teeth beautiful again by fixing the damage the other dentist left behind with cosmetic bonding. Truly, this Dr. is god sent. He is compassionate, confident, competent, genuine and empathetic. He loves his patients and his job. He takes pride in what his does, you can see that in the excellent job he does in your mouth. He is one of the best dentist in the entire country. Thank you Dr. Shiri for helping me feel comfortable and confident to smile again. Truly grateful for you have done for me.

I initially came in for a tooth ache and had to have a tooth removed. It was then I decided to have my upper and lower front teeth veneered because my teeth were chipped and yellowed. Dr Shiri explained the process and how long it would take. I first did the upper front and it turned out so well that I decided to do the lower front. The work is quite painless and is done relatively quick. I even had a temporary tooth break over Christmas Eve and Dr Shiri came to the rescue the following day to fix it not once but twice. Look no further I highly recommed Dr Shiri and his friendly staff for all your dential needs.

I am so happy to provide Dr Shiri with my 5 star review. My case is unique. I needed all of my previous veneers replaced as they were approaching 20 years old. In addition, the “real teeth” I had left were wearing badly. Ultimately, I was desirous of a whole mouth restoration. To complicate matters, I had a tooth pulled as a child creating an asymmetrical bite. After meeting with several BH cosmetic dentists I decided to go with Dr Shiri. As an aside, he wasn’t the least expensive but on balance, he was the right choice. He is very talented, and has the ability to adjust on the fly to offer the best result. His lab is excellent. He even went to the lab and met the technician in person in order to discuss my case. Dentistry is both an art and a science. An excellent natural smile needs to also function well. It’s not easy to get aesthetic and form and function correct. Ultimately I am happy with the aesthetic and he was able to open my bite in a way that feels good. Thank you Dr Shiri for being a pro that works hard, is very capable, and runs a great office.

Dr. Shiri is an amazing dentist! I’m so grateful for all of the other yelp reviews, they steered me in the right direction. I have bonding on my front two teeth that has been patched by dentists over the years. Needless to say, it wasn’t looking very good anymore. Dr. Shiri completely redid the bonding and did a phenomenal job. Better than I could have imagined. I have a whole new smile! He was patient and put me at ease. I appreciated his perfectionism, as they are my front two teeth. The office staff and dental hygienist were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this office for all your dental needs.

I am absolutely thrilled to have found Dr. Shiri, and his wonderful practice.  From the moment I walked in I knew I was in a different dental office than what one typically experiences. Connie at the front was welcoming, and kindly assisted as I discussed options regarding my scheduled treatment. She could not have been more pleasant, professional, and patient as I inquired about possible rescheduling due to a recent procedure with another physician. The next person I met was Miguel who is such an asset to the office!  He assisted Dr. Shiri who is truly a remarkable individual.  Dr. Shiri took his time as he thoroughly checked my teeth and gums for any issues prior to the Zoom treatment.  He pointed out a problem with my gums that I wasn’t even aware of, and thanks to him, will have treated so it doesn’t become worse. Back to Miguel who prepped me, and provided the actual treatment for Zoom explaining the steps along the way in such a compassionate and professional manner.  I am one that is fine with having work done on my teeth, really have no issue with pain, but for someone who has those concerns, Miguel (as well as Dr. Shiri) is such a warm and caring individual that you would feel completely comfortable with any work performed.  And, we all know that is a rare quality! Dr. Shiri, and his lovely staff run an exceptional practice, and you would be remiss not to see what you’ve been missing!  So thrilled I did just that!!

Dr. Shiri is absolutely incredible!! I’ve had my fair share of dentists, and I can say with confidence that Dr. Shiri is the best in Los Angeles. He filled three of my cavities, one being extremely deep (almost a root canal), and I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever. I’m very sensitive to pain and even afraid of the sound of drills, but Dr. Shiri made my experience so wonderful for me and truly exceeded all expectations. The front desk receptionist, Connie, was really nice and comforting as well. She gracefully greeted me as I walked through the door and had me in before my appointment time. She was great! The lady who handles insurance, Anna, was absolutely terrible. Her awful and condescending attitude made me so uncomfortable. Every question I would ask would either be met with attitude or the silent treatment–to the point I had to walk back myself to the dentist to ask about a prescription because she refused to answer when I asked if I was all set.  I had her speak on the phone to my mother since I am going through her insurance. As she is on the phone with my mother in front of my face, I see her rolling her eyes and sighing irritably while answering questions. Then at the end, I was still waiting for something else from the doctor when I heard someone ask, “Is she gone?”  She said, “yes thank God.” You should have seen the look on her face when I popped up from behind the corner and reminded her I am still in the office and if she could kindly wait ten minutes until I leave before she commenced talking about me. Being as nervous and anxious as I am when visiting dentists as many of us generally are, I expected more from her, considering the fact that my insurance (and out of pocket fees) pays the services. I don’t want to take away from Dr. Shiri’s exceptional services because of his terrible insurance person. If I could give him 10 stars I would! However, I’d give her 0.Thanks Dr. Shiri and Connie!

I had a great experience here. The staff are super friendly and professional. The office is clean and modern. Dr. Shiri was super nice.   We came here to get our teeth whitened with Zoom.  Dr. Shiri checked out my teeth and said that they need to be cleaned first, so we did.  It was the BEST cleaning I have ever had.  They used an ultrasonic cleaning tool (I live in Hawaii so I’ve never had ultrasonic before.. it really gets off all the tartar). The Zoom went smoothly.  My wife was telling me horror stories about people who get their gums burned, etc.  But they protected my gums pretty well, so that wasn’t an issue.  I DID have some teeth sensitivity afterwards (sharp, shooting pains) but that went away after a couple of days. Because I’m from Hawaii, the staff wasn’t sure if they could take my insurance.  So I paid cash for my cleaning.  To my surprise, they called me several months later and said that they were able to get reimbursed and as such, they credited me back for my payment.  Awesome!  They follow through and they are honest.  What more can you ask for?

I purchased a voucher off of a Daily Deal site a while ago for Zoom whitening. I am new(er) to CA and needed a dentist close to my office. I had not been to the dentist in 3+ years……so needless to say I was petrified– my teeth are super sensitive from overbrushing and I was nervous that the Zoom would really hit the painful parts. I expressed this to the staff, literally all of the staff, to make sure that I was not going to leave in pain. I scheduled an exam and cleaning before the Zoom to check for cavities and look at my older fillings– the cleaning went smooth and the staff was awesome. She stopped every so often to make sure I was okay with it and there was no pain. Dr. Shiri came in and then performed the exam….I knew I had a few cavities and probably needed some fillings replaced. And…his exam confirmed that. What’s pretty cool is that (and maybe I am just old school) they only use the white fillings so you cant see them. We decided to break up the whitening to a second visit and just do the fillings at this time. I did ask to be sedated during the fillings and even stopped a few times to take a break- Dr. Shiri was super cool with everything and I will definitely be coming back!!

Dr. Shiri is not just a great dentist, but a superior and meticulous craftsman. In other words, Dr. Shiri is a perfectionist. Dr. Shiri replaced a crown for me but after carefully examining my older crown, Dr. Shiri said he wanted to create a greater seal around my tooth to prevent any potential future damage. The crown was a piece of art and fit like a glove. Dr. Shiri is polite and takes more than ample time to ensure his patients are treated with the utmost care. Dr. Shiri even called me home to ask if I had any pain and reassured me that the new crown that was to be fitted would not only last longer than my previous crown, but also provide additional protection for years to come. In addition to my pleasant experience, Dr. Shiri’s staff is outstanding and helped me schedule an appointment within a day’s notice. His assistants are also highly knowledgeable and work as a team with Dr. Shiri to ensure the process moves along in a timely manner. Dr. Shiri is not just a great dentist, but a superior doctor who genuinely cares about his patients best interest. In regards to pricing, Dr. Shiri is in line with the market, if not lower, but offers a superior service that is unrivaled. Rather than wasting time and calling dozens of dentists, call Dr. Shiri and save time and money.

Great work, great staff, top of line equipment and on time! Went to him because he was highly recommended. I’ve gone three times within the past three months for different issues. The first was for my jaw clicking which i have been diagnosed with moderate TMJ. The second was for a cleaning and to fix a fill. They took great care and were conscious about my TMJ. My jaw has always locked with other dentists. Dr. Shiri and his hygenist took measures to make sure my jaw didn’t lock. The third was for pulling my wisdom teeth. For some reason, the procedure scared me more than when I had to have two foot surgeries. He took care of my anxiety and things couldn’t have gone any smoother. I’m so glad I took my friend’s recommendation seriously!

This is a year in the the making.  I absolutely could not be more happy than I am right now.  I first saw Dr. Shiri after my previous dentist told me that I was going to lose one of my front teeth.  It was loose and my gums were receding.  Yes, I knew I was going to lose it but she really didn’t have a game plan and I was terrified.  Dr. Shiri did a full mouth xray, etc and showed me exactly where the problem lay.  My upper front teeth have very short roots and therefore my gums receding chances were that eventually I would lose all of my front teeth.  Needless to say, I burst into tears.  After that, he came up with a plan for implants.  Now, I am not rich by any means.  I do have insurance but even with that the cost is still high.  His office worked with me to work out a payment plan while the work was being done.  Anna and the rest of his staff are so so wonderful.  I was absolutely terrified of dentists before this and even though I am still a big wuss, Dr. Shiri and his staff are always understanding and considerate of my fear.  If he even thinks I’m going to feel something he gives me numbing gel or whatever I need.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his staff.  You couldn’t pay me to go anywhere else.  Finally I’m all done and I couldn’t be happier.  I can smile and not feel self conscious or embarrassed.  My teeth are absolutely beautiful.  There could not be a better dentist or dental office.   I truly can’t even put into words how grateful I am to him.  If you’re looking for a dentist whether it’s just for cleaning or for more invasive work, this doctor you want to go to.
