After using Dr. Petznick for all of my life, the thought of another dentist was not exactly what I wanted to hear. After the practices merged and I began using Dr. Davenport, I immediately knew that all was well with my dental care. I must admit to being spoiled by having such excellent care through the years and it’s really great to know that I will continue to have the same excellent care from Dr. Davenport. She and her staff are all very friendly and make a trip to the dentist as enjoyable as possible. Nicely decorated office with modern equipment also. I would highly recommend them for your dental care needs.

I have been seeing Dr Davenport for 2-3 years and have had nothing but good experiences! I haven’t had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment, the staff is courteous, the location is convenient to downtown but with good parking. The hygienists are thorough and pleasant and Dr Davenport is great.

Dr Celia And Miss Melanie have made going to the dentist something I look foward to. They go out of their way to make sure you know exactly what they are doing and that everyone’s in the same page. Dr. Celia is always willing to do as much as possible at every visit . Melanie left her family the night before Thanksgiving to meet me to put my temporary bridge back in. I can’t thank Davenport Dental enough. Laurel Is always kind and patient when I need to come in. They are the best in Birmingham. Girl Power!!!!

Dr. Davenport and her staff are fantastic. They are very kind and knowledgeable and gentle–which is VERY important when working on your teeth! She is also honest about the health of your teeth and does not make up things that need to be done, when they really don’t. This has happened to me in another office! I had an overall wonderful experience and could not recommend her more. I have found my dentist for life!

I recently moved to Birmingham and needed to find a dentist. I went to Dr. Davenport today and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and professional, my cleaning was very thorough, and Dr. Davenport took the time to walk me through all of the problems she found on my x-rays and a plan to fix them. They also provided me with a very reasonable estimate for all the work I need done and walked me through a couple different options to get it done without needing to pay a large bill all at once.

I have put off going to the dentist for many years due to several bad experiences, however today I decided to revisit my dental health. I called the office around 11:00 am and was advised I could be seen as early as this afternoon for a visit. I was very nervous and stressed. The office staff, hygienist, and dentist were amazing. They were polite, understanding, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Today’s visit completely changed my mindset on dentists. Thank you very much Dr. Davenport!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Davenport for nearly five years and she’s a very kind and skilled dentist. The office is clean, the hygienists are pleasant, and the location is prime. Parking, however, can be a little tight. Unfortunately, the relationship had to be terminated due a billing dispute for $165. I ended up being compelled to pay the full amount despite explaining to them the unfortunate circumstances around the issuance of the bill. The receptionist was somewhat rude (not ugly) as she explained the situation on their end. I asked if we could meet in the middle to preserve the relationship (something their web presence says they value), but she was unable to come to an equitable resolution for me. They may have received their cash payment for $165, but will lose out on thousands of dollars worth of future claims payments from my insurer because they were unable/unwilling to compromise with a long-standing, reliable patient. With all that said, I will miss Dr. Davenport and I wish her well. I hope her office management team learns to see the bigger picture when it comes to preserving patient relationships, especially when the amount in question is so paltry in the long run.

Because of this honest mistake on my end, I ended up being compelled to pay the full amount despite explaining to them the unfortunate circumstances around the issuance of the bill. I have since selected PPO during this year’s annual enrollment-mostly so I could continue to see Dr. Davenport. Unfortunately, receptionist/office manager was somewhat rude (not ugly) as she explained the situation on their end. I asked if we could meet in the middle ($82.50) to preserve the relationship (something their web presence says they value), but she was unable to come to an equitable resolution for me. They may have received their cash payment for $165, but will lose out on thousands of dollars worth of future claims payments from my insurer because they were unable/unwilling to compromise with a long-standing, reliable patient. Love the team at Davenport Dental! I tried several other dentists when I first moved to Birmingham but have found a home here. I have been visiting Celia and the team for about two years and can’t say enough about their friendly, professional staff and clean, comfortable facilities. For the first time in a long time I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned!
