I really appreciate and value great service providers. This has been true of Dr. David Chavez. In fact he has met this above and beyond. Dr. Chavez and his team are truly a great Lakewood Colorado institution. Dr. Chavez is progressive, has deep knowledge about dentistry, is a skilled practioner but most importantly he is thoughtful. Dr. Chavez is down to earth and easy to talk to. I have an extreme anxiety about any type of dentist work. Even when I go in for my routine cleanings I feel myself becoming increasingly nervous. Dr. Chavez is never impatient with me and has never made me feel like I am overreacting. He meets my fears head on. He explains every step of any procedure. He is gentle and kind. This type of service is a definite upgrade from many other dental providers. I highly recommend Dr. Chavez for any of your dental needs.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr Chavez and his team. I don’t dread going to the dentist anymore. They are like family. We started a root canal and he saw that it was going to fail and not work. So he stopped and discussed the options.I was only charged for the work completed not the entire root canal. He is great at explaining what is going on.

Dr Chavez is a pleasant and informative dentist. He explained the problems with my teeth in clear and precise terms that I was able to understand. His bedside manner so to speak was warm, fun and extremely confident that he could save most of my teeth as opposed to the other two dentists I saw that just wants to pull all my teeth and fit me into dentures.

Dr. Chavez is a very kind and sweet man with a wonderful ability to make you feel calm. His staff (shout out to Glenis who is a wizard in dental hygienist form) is also very kind and gentle. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’ve had a good time at the dentist coming to see them! I will be seeing them for all my future dental needs. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Chavez did a root canal and crown on one of my molars. He was proficient, professional, and an all-around nice guy. My teeth aren’t in great shape, but he never made me feel bad about it. Next, we’re going to work on a treatment plan to address some of the other problems I’ve got. I would highly recommend Dr. Chavez. After a poor experience with my previous dentist, it was a breath of fresh air. He was able to break down complex terminology and make it easy for a person not trained in the field to understand. His communication skills were all around great, and you feel like he truly cares about your well being. He even did the little things like waiting until the end of his work to ask questions, so you don’t feel like you have to talk with a piece of metal in your mouth. In regards to care, Dr. Chavez takes a long term approach vs an aggressive quick fix. We identified some areas to keep an eye on before my next visit and he made sure to explain exactly what we will be monitoring over the next 12 months. His staff is also very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to being a patient for many years to come

Absolutely amazing! Dr Chavez and his staff are patient, caring and really do a great job. I have very sensitive teeth and they really took the time to make sure I was comfortable before starting the work. Dr Chavez takes the time to explain everything very well and they even sent me a video that helped fully explain the procedure beforehand. Even with serious dental anxiety, they made my visit as smooth as possible. Highly recommend!

I’ve known Dr. Chavez for 10 plus years and he has not only been a knowledgeable, educated, reliable dentist but a compassionate and caring individual as well. If he needed additional assistance with an oral issues, he knew exactly where, who and why to resolve it. In addition to his dental knowledge he can advise patients about insurances and how to take the best care of their teeth. I moved to Colorado about 9 months ago, I was really scared of going to a new dentist. I had a bad experience some years ago. My experience was really wonderful though, I don’t think anyone likes going to the dentist but everyone in the office made my experience beyond pleasant. Maria at the front desk was very nice, Glynnis (I hope I spelt her name correctly) did my xrays, intake, and cleaning. She was so awesome, thorough and informative. When I first called Dr. Chavez to schedule an appointment, I had the opportunity to speak to him on the phone. While he was asking me about myself, my dogs started barking in the background. Days later I met Dr. Chavez in person for the first time, and he asked me how my dogs were. At first I wondered how he knew I had dogs – until I remembered our call. After a few times of visiting his office for cleanings over the years, I realized that this is the norm – Dr. Chavez truly gets to know you and cares about you as a person. You don’t feel like you’re going to the dentist… You feel like you’re visiting a friend. I’m originally from the East Coast and I struggled for years to find a good dentist in Colorado. I have trusted Dr. Chavez my whole life with my teeth. He has done me and my family well who are all patients of his. He continues to learn and stay up to date on dentistry and has good relationships with other specialists that he trusts. Needed to find a new dentist after moving to the area and found Dr. Chavez is just a few minutes away. I was able to easily get an appt scheduled for the following week. Right when I walk in Dr. Chavez gives me a wave, a hello, and calls me by name. They came out from the back a few moments later and introduced themself. Dr. Chavez is amazing. He fit me in quickly when I was experiencing pain in my tooth. He was compassionate and gentle, and as always remembers to ask about kids and dogs etc. After showing me images (w great technology) and explaining IN DETAIL (never rushing) what was causing my pain he told me what my options were and never made me feel bad about neglecting my teeth for the past few years. Even when I made a self deprecating remark, he responded with encouraging words. I have a few procedures coming up with Dr. Chavez and am not dreading them at all. Dr. Chavez and his team take personal time with each patient. I only had a cleaning and exam, but could tell that they take a deep interest in the health of their patients. My last dentist did so too, but her office was way less friendly than Dr. Chavez’s.
