I have been going to Dr. Cohen for many years. I have not found a better dentist in Southern California. His office staff are very friendly and experienced. Dr. Cohen try’s very hard to keep the level of pain down to a minimum. He and his office staff are very respectful of his patients. If you have an emergency on the weekend, he is more than willing to come down to the office and do what he can. He is compassionate and cares deeply about his patients well being and condition of their teeth.

Dr. Cohen is an amazing dentist, he always comes In with such a bright welcoming smile that makes you feel comfortable when it comes to getting work done on your teeth. Did I forget to mention, he will crack a joke with you to break the ice… I love it! Thanks to him, I haven’t had cavities in years! The team staff there are also so very nice and sweet, they answer your questions right away. I never have to wait longer than 15 minutes. If you are looking for someone to go too for the first time, Dr. Cohen is the dentist to go. You will love him and his crew. I know there isn’t a better team that can make my teeth clean and bright like them! 🙂

I’ve been going to Dr. David Cohen since my oldest was three years old, she is now 21! My youngest who is 16 years old is shy, but she absolutely loves him. Because of insurance reasons her dad didn’t send her there, (we’re divorced) I took her to the new place but knew immediately they were NOT even close to being thorough or treating my daughter’s teeth so that they would last. Her sealants fell out in a year, plus they didn’t even guarantee them!! Something Dr. Cohen does, but I should add his sealants don’t fall out! I go to him and wouldn’t go to anyone else. His dental hygienist Ginny is also awesome. She cleans teeth and they feel like you don’t want to ruin them they’re so clean!! Seriously, for children AND adults he is the best!!!

(…) Dr. Cohen – his childish sense of humor is sometimes so silly that even if he’s not funny, you’re still laughing at the ridiculousness of it. He’s a skilled dentist and always reminds me what I can better do to get my teeth in good shape, and what to steer clear from (if i cant completely abstain from sugary candies and energy drinks, he said to eat or drink them quickly and then brush). Another thing about Dr. Cohen is he always listens to you when reacting to pain from whatever he’s doing – he always stops and will administer as much local anesthetic as needed to null the pain (…).

I highly recommend Dr. Cohen a friendly person and excellent dentist. He pulled 3 of my teeth on Monday. That evening I had a little discomfort with very little pain and when I woke up Tuesday morning and the rest of this week I have not had any pain. All bleeding stopped on Monday a few hours after the surgery, which is rare for the kind of surgery I had. He provides excellent work for a reasonable price.

My teenagers, college-aged children, and I have been going to Dr. Cohen’s office for 6 years. Love him and his staff! They are wonderful! Let me count the ways:
1. One of my children is on the autism spectrum and they are particularly patient with that child.
2. He recommends what he thinks is best for each family member, not a “one size fits all ” approach to cleanings, etc.
3. His referrals to specialists have also been excellent.
4. When one of my children had an allergic reaction to drugs that he prescribed, we called him late on a Friday night and received an immediate response.
5. His staff even called my employer to ask informed questions about my policy options to help me make the best decision for our current need during open enrollment time.
6. When we have had dental emergencies, we call and are worked into the schedule right away (…).

Let’s face it , nobody likes going to the dentist. However, I can honestly say that Dr. Cohen and his amazing staff make the entire experience about as pleasurable as can be. Dr. Cohen is the best dentist. I’ve been afraid of them my whole life (68 years). He understood my fears and was very patient with me. Ok, let me preface this by saying “I hate dentists” however I found one that I like. It has nothing to do with our names being the same but the fact that he’s almost painless. I’m not going to be stupid and say he’s painless but darn near close. My first visit was x-rays and consult, my 2nd was a root canal and crowning that and another tooth ( canines) and this visit was virtually painless. The Dr himself called the next day to see how I was and scaling the pain was about 1.5-2. My third visit I had several teeth pulled and when HE called again pain was probably 3 with the temporary immediate denture in. 0 with it out. I’ll see him again on Wednesday for the removal of a tooth that is gone, broken off to my gum lines, I’m expecting pain from this one. I hope to report none. Dr Cohen and all of the staff are very professional, pleasant, and know what they are doing. THANKS GUYS FOR CHANGING MY MIND ON DENTISTS!!!

Dr. Cohen and his entire staff are incredible. I’ve had several dentists in my life and he is, hands down, the best. I began seeing him about 10 years ago; for about two years in between then and now my insurance changed and I had to see a different dentist (…). I was SO relieved to have Dr. Cohen back when I got new insurance. If I ever were to not have him covered again, I’d honestly just pay cash rather than have a bad dentist.
Dr. Cohen is knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. He runs on time, but still seems to give plenty of individual attention to his patients. He’s GREAT with kids (my 2-year-old LOVES him) and his staff is awesome. The hygienists are kind, well-trained, and thorough. I obviously cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

I love Dr. Cohen, he’s amazing! His staff is great, and there’s very little wait time, if any to see him when you come in for an appointment. Everyone I’ve recommended loves him as well. I also like that he keeps up on current innovations in his field. For example, I had a cavity and he was able to drill it with a laser thing which didn’t hurt at all, and I didn’t even have any kind of pain killer (I was given a choice, however). After he filled it, it didn’t even hurt and I was able to eat. So, I very highly recommend him.

Great dentist. Honest, thoughtful, funny, and truly cares about your well being. I had a chipped tooth that he repaired like he would for himself. But a close second is his ability to explain procedures and be a down to earth medical professional. Let’s be honest. None of us like going to the dentist. So I enjoy that he takes the time to ask how you have been doing and gives you some lighthearted conversation to make you get your mind off where you’re at! This is the 1st dentist I have been to that recommends sealing your teeth to keep cavities at a minimum. It would seem to me that this preventive maintenance would be bad for business! Dr Cohen has a great office and staff. They all are friendly. I have been a patient for over 10 years. I’ve never had any problems with Dr Cohen’s work. He replaced an old crown 5 years ago and it still looks great (it’s for a front tooth). A word of advice if you choose to visit Dr Cohen:. GREAT DENTIST, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have been going to Dr. Cohen for the past couple of years now and have had nothing but amazing service. He and his staff have excellent bedside manners and are always ACCOMMODATING of my schedule. For example, I was confused about my treatment options and the differences between sealants and fillings. He took the time to draw me a visual reference describing and outlining the pros and cons of each option and how those treatment plans affect my teeth. His cleaning appointments are highly sought after but I have managed to call and be placed on a cancellation list and managed to get my teeth WHITENED AND CLEANED in the same day on such short notice. In addition, I had an EMERGENCY, I called their emergency line and he came out on a weekend to fix my tooth and squeeze me into the following workweek schedule. There are not many doctors that would do all of the above for a patient, as a result, he’s someone I’d recommend to friends and family!
