Dr. Itzkoff is the best! He has been my dentist for over 20 years. He never tries to impose a super expensive procedure when a less expensive option is available. He has done a lot of work on my rather fragile teeth – fillings, crowns, onlays. He is an artist with teeth. I have recommended him to co-workers who were also pleased with his work.

I have been a patient of Dr. Itzkoff for several years.  His staff has always been most helpful at getting me in on an urgent basis.  Dr. Itzkoff is very gentle, conservative in his dentistry and quite reasonably priced.  I had to have a crown rebuilt and he saved the tooth which was difficult.  He has also done several filling replacements for me.  Since I am extremely particular who I use for a dentist, Dr. Itzkoff is professional and always does his best with my teeth.

Dr. Itzkoff is a wonderful dentist, especially very good with children/youth. My two children (ages almost 21 and 16) and I have been his patients for about 16 years! He has watched them grow up over the years and well knows each of their dental needs. While a lot of children, especially, do not enjoy going to the dentist, he calms their anxiety and makes it a pleasant experience for them. What we also love is his expertise, care, concern, friendliness, patience, and philosophy of offering less invasive options to treat any dental concerns we may have before recommending expensive procedures that may not be needed at the time. He also followed up with me after I had a treatment done. In short, I highly trust Dr. Itzkoff with our dental care and highly recommend him. Additionally, Dr. Itzkoff and Alfie are a great team. She is prompt in returning calls to schedule appointments and can always get us in within a short time frame (…)

Wonderful experience. Staff was pleasant while I waited for the previous patient to finish up, and Dr. Itzkoff was very kind and personable. He did point out that my dental hygiene wasn’t very good, and we worked on ways I could improve it, but hey, that’s why I go for a checkup at the dentist.

I’m a bit afraid of going to the dentist, so I was pretty trepidacious to first see Dr. Itzkoff, but now I go to him with full confidence that I will be treated well. He and his staff are very friendly, and I feel like they really care about me. They got me in quickly, and take the time to really listen to my concerns. I’ve had routine cleaning done, as well as one root canal, and I couldn’t be happier.

I have been going to this practice for years and I love Dr. Itzkoff and his friendly staff.  They always make me feel very comfortable and at ease.  Dr. Itkoff is a top-notch dentist who takes the time to thoroughly explain your procedure and best options.  He is professional and sincere and I have referred him to many family and friends.

Dr. Itzkoff is an outstanding dentist with the patience of a saint. I found Dr. Itzkoff through my dental insurance network. My husband needed an emergency extraction and we were able to get an appointment with in 24 hours. Dr. Itzkoff’s Dental Assistant (Alfie) is amazing and very responsive. They were able to provide the emergency treatment my husband needed and both Dr. Itkoff and Alfie called us the next day to check in on him. Previous family dentist we had seem to over treat, recommending procedures that were not needed. I am so happy with Dr. Itkoff and Alfie’s work that I have recommended him to friends and family.

I heard about Dr. Itzkoff’s practice from a friend, and when I needed a teeth cleaning I decided to try him out. I couldn’t have been more pleased. He has a cozy office in the Hyde Park Bank Building, and very personable staff to match, which was super helpful given my fear of the dentist’s. When he examined my teeth he found a small cavity and got it filled up with relatively little discomfort. I’ve had the filling for 3 weeks now, and haven’t experienced any pain. I found the total price of the visit pretty reasonable, and will definitely return.

Dr. Itzkoff and his staff are a find!  The staff is friendly and capable.  I had a broken tooth that needed treating.  Whereas other dentists would have gone immediately to much more expensive routes, Dr. Itzkoff began with the most conservative and least expensive option and made it work.  I’d highly recommend Dt. Itzkoff’s small and personal practice.

If you’re looking for a streamlined, trendy office with all of the latest technologies… look elsewhere. If you’re looking for an knowledgeable, gentel, and caring doctor who will tell you honestly when you do and DON’T need a certain procedure, Dr. Itzkoff is your man.
