He’s been my dentist for 20 years now and from day one his number one priority has been that I feel comfortable while he provides the treatment I need for my dental health. All throughout the years he continues to expand and improve his services to achieve this. He has done an amazing job this past year setting up equipment and processes to ensure to safety of his patients during the pandemic. I was very impressed when I had my appointment this past week. I’d recommend him to everyone.

No dentist has ever taken the time to explain things to me as well as Dr. Metzdorf. He gave suggestions I had not thought of for improving my routines and did not admonish me for my dental habits. There was no rush and both he and his assistants met me with a handshake. The office is very well-laid out and there is a lot of beauty in all the details. He has a droll sense of humor and is very relaxed and capable. A dental assistant told me that he is a DIY person who fixes things himself. Bonus: Besides talking teeth, you may get to hear about sailing, home renovations, bass guitars, etc. CHOOSE THIS DENTIST

This place is great. The office manager/receptionist (Lisa) is super-friendly, efficient and even more competent. The excellent hygienist has a way with cleaning your teeth properly but avoiding any pain given in the process. She is also very patient-friendly and helpful. Finally Dr. Metzdorf is a great combination of honest, kind and highly competent. I would be remiss not to mention the innovative dental “experience” used at this impressive dental office… The office has *extremely* comfortable dental chairs, natural light coming from floor to ceiling windows to the outside and even TVs placed in the ceiling above each patient chair so you can watch TV during the procedure. Now that is what I call low stress! They even have a “faux” blue sky with clouds motif on the ceiling around the TV to complete the relaxing nature of the office. All I can say is after a long search for a dentist I *want* to see every six months, I have now found them in Dr. Metzdorf and his amazing staff.

My family has been going to the Drs Metzdorf ‘s office for about 15+ years. My daughters started out with Metzdorf Sr. for their braces but we’ve  ALL stayed on for our routine dental needs. David Jr. is the rare dentist that can put you at ease when in the chair. Being a true dentamphobic, I can attest to Dr. Metzdorf Jr.’s patience, up to date knowledge, and gentle manner. All of which why he is the only dentist my daughters and I will use! The staff are all very courteous and helpfull

I have been so happy coming to this office for a few years now. Following a few years of sporadic dentist visits and less than ideal personal care, I moved to the area and found Dr. Metzdorf’s office. I started off needing a lot of [debridement] cleaning on my first visit. Though it was obvious that I was waaay overdue, there was (and never is) any “pressure” or “guilt/shaming” or “judgement” about any condition or issues… just lots of good care and encouragement to practice and maintain the best dental health possible. There may be people who fear going to the dentist because they worry that they’ll be “scolded” or given the business about needed better routines. That doesn’t happen here. Dr. David is friendly, enjoys “Dad jokes” and middlebrow humor, and is knowledgable and professional. Appointments are efficient without feeling rushed, and one feels that he loves his profession and really cares for his patents as people. All of the staff are friendly and provide great care. My wife is also a happy patient, and I expect my daughter will be when she transitions from Pediatric dental care. (They already enjoy her visits.) If you want excellent care, no pressures toward expensive but unnecessary procedures, great self-care advice, and a friendly, guilt-free environment, this is a super office I wholeheartedly recommend. This is a great Dentist whom my wife and I have been using for a few years now. The staff here make you feel welcome and is very friendly. They take time to ensure your teeth are getting the very best care. I would highly recommend this dentistry for anyone who’s seeking a knowledgeable, and caring staff to serve any dental needs.

I have been a client of Dr Metzdorf since 1999. Dr Metzdorf asks for details, inspects very carefully, and always suggests the best possible solution to allow me to consider. His little chat before the work helps me to relax as well. I will continue to be Dr Metzdorf’s patient even if I move away from the area.

Very clean, modern and professional office. You feel like they actually care about your mouth, rather than your money. They didn’t try to sell me any extras or do unnecessary work. Got a sample bag on my way out and made a follow-up appointment for six months. Most comfortable dental seat anywhere. TV on ceiling so you have something to watch during process. Digital x-rays that come up on the screen immediately.

There are not enough good words to say about this entire office. From the moment you call or walk in, they are kind, informative, and helpful. Dr. Metzdorf is excellent and the entire team is professional and great at what they do. The office manager, Lisa, is one of my favorite people. I genuinely enjoy going to the dentist because of them. They are candid about areas to watch and improve upon, make referrals when appropriate, and do not push unnecessary procedures. I’d give more stars if I could!

I always enjoy going to see Dr. Metzdorf. The environment is always super friendly and we always have a great discussion on anything besides the regular dentist talks. The staff are super friendly and are always available to answer any questions. One thing I do love about visiting Dr. Metzdorf is his advice on my dental up keep. Also over the years I notice that Dr. Metzdorf keeps up with the technology In the dental area and tries to find ways to improve your visits. And that’s always a plus in my book. Plus I love looking at HGTV on the ceiling TV while they work on my teeth cleaning etc.

Before going to Dr. Metzdorf’s office, I had been going to the same dentist my entire life. Therefore, I was a bit afraid of changing to new one, being that I am originally from Maryland and the drive has just gotten too far for just regular cleanings, so my husband recommended Dr. Metzdorf, (who was his dentist from childhood). The office itself is so nice and modern and all the staff members seemed friendly and happy. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was Allison, who was very nice, reassuring, and informative throughout the whole cleaning process. The fact that HGTV was available to watch the whole time was also a plus! After the cleaning and xrays, Dr. Metzdorf walked in and did a final check of my teeth. He was also very informative, honest, and helpful if I had any questions. Overall, my first visit here was excellent and I am happy that I came here.
