This is my first visit back to the dentist ever since COVID shut us down. I am so happy to return to Roach Family Dentistry here in Green Hills. The staff not only made me feel welcomed, comfortable but also safe. They take COVID precautions very seriously and I as a patient so appreciate that. My hygienists was awesome! She made my experience comfortable, relaxing, and such a breeze to get through. I am a early patient, I love my 8 AMs, airpods in the ear with an audiobook ready to listen to. It was nice to not only enjoy and relax, but to have someone to care for me. I always say I love my dental visits but my hygienist definitely made my experience even better. She spent the time to consult with me about all of my concerns and needs during the visit. Not only did she go out of the way to meet my needs but she was very informative about the status on my dental health. The Dentist was just as awesome, he was gentle and very informative when my bottom teeth caught his attention. I am advised to prevent further wear down ( I grind at night, unfortunately) someone who grinds their teeth at night, I so appreciate it. Grinding causes me massive headaches so if there is anything I can do to better my health, I am game. Both the Dentist and hygienist worked so well together! I chose to go with the year plan, it’s so worth it. I am serious about the health of my teeth, this plan suits my needs so well. I highly recommend newcomers to look into it. If you’re looking for a place to welcome you and make you feel at home. Look no further (:

The level of professionalism and patient centered care this practice exhibits is unmatched. From the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dentists, everyone in the office was kind, helpful, respectful, and just pleasant. They staff here set themselves apart from others in their industry by taking time to get to know their patient and making sure he/she is always comfortable and informed. When a new staff member entered the room, they even updated that person on the patient’s ‘fun facts’ that had come up in conversation. Incredible experience in a place that normally can cause so much anxiety for the average person. Awesome job, I’ll be back and not just because I need fillings.

After years of not seeing a dentist due to lack of insurance, I found myself in need of a root canal and several fillings. Dr. Roach and his team have taken excellent care of me, beginning with getting back to me after hours to help me get an appointment set up asap. Before beginning any work, they always have given me a thorough review of what the issues are, what needs to be done, and also have someone from their office come back and discuss the costs for each procedure in detail before beginning any work. I’ve never encountered any hidden charges, everything has always cost exactly what they said it would. As for the work itself, I’m incredibly pleased. It was my first root canal, and I told my friends afterward, Dr. Roach did such a great job, I could almost say I enjoyed it. Didn’t feel a thing. I recently had two cavities filled in, and I can say that I’m very pleased with those experiences also. Dr. Roach and his hygienist constantly checked in with me during all procedures to make sure I was comfortable and doing ok. Everyone in their office has been nothing but kind and helpful to me. I’ll be a customer for life.

I was in alot of pain on November 21st I called that same day & they got me right in the same day. I had to come back within a week to get some teeth extracted. They are by far the best Dentist I have ever been to. From the front desk, to the nurses in the back & the 2 dentist I seen they were all so Kind, caring, professional & went above & beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I will make sure from now on all of my dental needs will be done by this practice. I am beyond grateful that they went above & beyond & extracted a tooth of mine on them. 4th visit today (initial, 2 deep cleaning appts, and follow up) and still very satisfied. Front desk staff is exceptional. Jackie, my hygienist each time, is incredibly thorough in her explanations and beyond kind. I could very likely find somewhere else where my insurance would cover more, but there’s no price tag on comfort, professionalism, and great client services. Admittedly, I’ve avoided the dentist for years because, well, who enjoys going to the dentist? Because of that, they probably could have convinced me I needed more work than was true, but they seem very honest and I have never felt like I was being “sold” something. Thanks to all the staff for the wonderful care.

This is hands down the best dentistry in Nashville and this is coming from someone who has lived in this city for a long time. As soon as you walk into the office you can tell the people who work there are so happy, like instantly you are greeted by warm smiles. The waiting room is pleasant and they have free water bottles for the guests. It’s not a stuffy environment- immediately you feel comfortable and almost like you’re family. Once you go back for your appointment you again pass happy people and the whole time your back there- while they’re there to get the dentist issue resolved, they are also 100% focused on your comfort level. They have blankets and chapstick and TVs available – all for you. My favorite part though is the people. The main dentists are so kind, and treat everyone with such high respect. You can tell they know what they are doing and in the process you catch glimpses of them teaching their assistants the ins and outs of the steps they are taking. From someone who is terrified of going to the dentist – I feel 100% safe when I’m with them, and that’s a feeling you don’t get everywhere. I’ve had one experience where an assistant even held my hand while getting a tooth extracted- it was an action that went above and beyond my expectations. There’s so much more to say but I’ll let the other high bullet points be a surprise once you check them out yourself. In the end, I’ve never left this establishment without a smile on my face, and isn’t that what dentistry is all about.

We were in town from Florida for the weekend and my husbands temporary crown broke. I called Dr Roach’s office on Friday afternoon around 1:15 when most of the other dentists around town were already closed, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and accommodating. By 2:20 they had my husband in the dentists chair!!! The experience in the office was just as good and we were not charged an outrageous amount for an emergency visit. If we were local this would be our family’s dentists office!!

I never thought I would actually like going to the dentist. After visiting Dr. David Roach’s office, I’m sold! I was never one of those people who dreaded a dental visit, but I just saw it as something we all have to do a couple of times a year, so let’s get it over with. But Dr. Roach’s staff is a delight and he couldn’t be nicer. They have recently moved into a new, modern, state of the art facility. Each patient room is equipped with a flat screen television and remote, so you can relax (ha) while you get your pearly whites polished! My hygienist was wonderful and explained everything she was doing. I know we all think we know the ropes by now, but she actually gave me some tips on brushing more effectively. I’m all about preventative care. Dr. Roach is wonderful and even though I had to have an old cavity refilled, he explained why we were doing this and how it would benefit me long term. He even adds humor to his work, which is a welcome change from most dentist’s offices. When I went to check out and pay what I expected to be a hefty bill, the office manager had already looked up my dental insurance (yes, fortunately I do have dental insurance) and knew exactly what percentage of my cost I had to pay. Impressive, to say the least. If you are looking for a great dentist in town, I have found him for you! You might actually look forward to your next trip to the dentist!

I have never been a fan of any dentist, until I came to this office. Every single member of that team is amazing and truly cares about your experience. They have gotten me in immediately in an emergency. I was able to eat popcorn for the first time without fear or having to be careful. I didn’t know what it was like to eat it without being careful! They know I am freaked out there and are constantly making sure I am comfortable during every visit. Seriously, go here. They are the best. I actually keep my preventative appointments now. I’m so happy that I’ve found a place I trust.

A little over a year ago I took my 70+ year old mom in for a partial denture consultation because she is missing lots of lower teeth. Several other dentists told her the only option for dentures would involve major bone-grafting surgery first, which was not an option for her due to auto-immune suppressing illness. We came to Roach Family Dentistry, and they got her into partial dentures, no surgery needed. They even figured out how to file with my mom’s out of state dental insurance. She’s a regular there now, and loves getting her cleanings with Jackie, who has a super gentle touch, and isn’t judge-y about her missing teeth.

After previous nightmarish experiences with crowns and fillings at another office, I had neglected returning to a dentist until I cracked a tooth. Kristine and Dr. D. made me very comfortable with a difficult emergency procedure-2 broken teeth and a root canal. I honestly sat in the car for 25 minutes prior to the appointment and worried; ok, yes, cried. They worked me into the busy schedule, listened to my fears, and compassionately made me very comfortable while giving me options for treatment. I can honestly say I felt no pain during the procedures-pressure, but not pain. Thank you, Dr. D and Kristine! I will recommend your office to everyone!

Wonderful full service dental office. Got my husband within 2 hours of my call, on New Years Eve. On the phone and in person the front office were helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. When we walked in he was taken straight to a room, doing paperwork in the chair. There was a welcome gift and nice letter waiting in the chair, and cable TV. The entire facility is immaculate. The assistant was quick to come in. The dentist was quick to come in and tend to his needs. We are extremely grateful for Roach Family Dentistry! The only sad thing about this is they won’t move to Southern California.

I have extreme dental anxiety, it is one of the few phobias of my life. The first time I made an appointment here I couldn’t even bring myself to show up. A few months later I made another appointment and came in. I felt like I was being pampered, like I was at a spa. Everyone was very gentle and kind and thorough, explaining to me costs and procedures, so nothing was in question. They quickly adjusted my appointment for an additional hour with a very busy dental hygienist and accommodated my unusual schedule to arrange the second half of the cleaning. This is the only dentist I will see from here on out while I’m in Tennessee. It’s like my fear dissipates when I walk through the door. I highly recommend this dental group to anyone, but especially those who have dental anxieties.

I had the best experience here. No one likes coming to the dentist’s office but they made this a very pleasant experience. Everyone was so nice. I called the office on Sunday because I was having a terrible toothache. They were able to get me in at 7 am the next day. Heard about Dr. Roach’s practice from a co-worker and was more than thrilled when they were able to get me in the following week. I scheduled an early morning appointment and was able to find street parking (2 hour parking for free). I was promptly greeted by a woman named Hannah who explained intake paperwork I needed to complete. Hannah called over her headset and let me know that my room was ready early for me and I could go there to complete my forms. The room was immaculately clean, had a private television and was very warm. Hannah gave me a new patient gift (so sweet!) and explained the practice has a comfort menu which I can use at any appointment (chap stick requests, neck pillow, etc). I then met with Jackie, a dental hygienist, who is seriously wonderful. She listened to my personal needs and dental history with care and was able to walk me through the appointment. I so appreciate that staff utilizes a form to ask you about your communication style, what you are most concerned with when it comes to your teeth – it helped to make my care individualized! Jackie and I had a great conversation and I can’t wait to see her on my next visit – she is a ROCKSTAR (which is evident from all the other reviews singing her praises!) I then met with a dental assistant and dentist, Dr. Zhang. Both were wonderful and were able to perform oral cancer screenings, x-rays and fluoride treatment. Front office staff came back during my appointment and brought an itemized sheet with services I received during my appointment – what my insurance would cover, what I would pay out of pocket, as well as out of pocket expenses for a cavity I need to have filled at my next appointment. I truly appreciate their transparency. I had a great experience and have already told several of my co-workers about the practice. Keep up the great work!

*Skeptic of dentists, here.* I love it here. The practice is outside of coverage with my insurance, but I will be returning. They offer plans and discounts that are probably better than my current insured benefits anyway. I spoke with them at the hot chicken festival and made an appointment! Everyone on staff is so kind and welcoming. They spend a lot of time getting to know you and making sure you are comfortable. I wasn’t sold to; I didn’t receive unnecessary treatment; I wasn’t charged anything other than what was explained. Oh, and my teeth are all clean now, so that’s a plus. I can’t wait to go back. Finding a new practice that I feel like I can trust is a huge relief. Sidenote: They also do not ask TOO many questions while they have hands in your mouth, which is great… 🙂 I’m all smiles about my visit to this practice.

I went to Dr. Roach on the Dentistry from the Heart Day. I am just one of many who received X-rays, fillings, and treatment by a friendly and comforting staff…FOR FREE. I was taken care of as if I were family. I was given all sorts of options. The office was so clean you could eat off of the floor if you wanted to. Dr. Roach had already seen twelve or thirteen patients by the time I got there. He did not rush in any way. He was genuinely glad to see me and help me with my painful cavity. This caring chair-side manner and willingness to make each visit the best, makes for an incredible team of incredible people. I will go back for even more work in the near future! I recommend this office for everyone.

They return calls promptly. I prayed a lot before going. I was hurting and concerned about COVID-19. I had a good experience. They worked me in and I was just elated! The place was very clean in appearance, staff was very friendly and likeable. They all wore masks and seemed on top of their game in connection with patient safety. So, I was able to relax more. I’m never comfortable nor willing to go to any dentist however, From Hannah and Ashley at the front desk to Dr. Roach and Annette who I allowed in my mouth lol they made sure I was completely taken care of the entire visit I felt like I was at a relaxing hotel! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can definitely sense the pride they all take in their work and the care the show their patients. My appointment was quick and PAINLESS!
