Dr. Spilkia and his very courteous and professional staff changed my life! I used to be terrified of going to the dentist, now I look forward to my next appointment! I made the decision to try Dr. Spilkia three years ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Such a great dentist! We’ve searched for over 2 years for a dentist and finally found a great one. The hygienists are so friendly and so is Dr. Spilkia. The office is extremely nice and clean, though parking can be a little tricky to avoid the meters. The rooms even have massaging chairs, which is an added bonus! Great dentist to check out in the northeast!

A very gentle dentist, with an amazingly family staff. I am very dental phobic. I have occasionally gone years without seeing a dentist. I am the type of patient who constantly jumps when something touches the inside of my mouth. So I am very grateful for Dr. Spilkia’s very gentle manner and understanding of my jumpiness. He also does an amazing job with the teeth of me and my family. What I also really like about Dr. Spilkia’s office is how friendly is his staff. Everyone has a smile, and greets you like an old friend. Although I’m sure that all the hygienists are terrific, I especially like Vicki. When she comes in to work on my teeth, she asks me about what has been happening in my life, and picks up from our previous conversation. Then when she works on me she entertains me with her stories about her family. Suddenly the appointment is over; and instead of feeling like I was stuck in a dental chair, I feel like I have been chatting with a friend during that time. It almost makes me look forward to going to the dentist.

There are many things that set Dr. David Spilkia’s practice apart from the rest from the rest. At David Spilkia, DMD, Dr. David Spilkia builds personal relationships with his patients, the staff is all warm and inviting, and the office and equipment is bright, shiny and new. They offer Saturday alternately too, and he is very accommodating in general. All in all, a very customer care focused practice, which is lacking pretty much everywhere else. Forget The Rest and Visit The Best Dr.Spilkia!! I had taken my daughter for a second opinion, because her previous dentist said she need roit canal on her front tooth that required root canal and caped. Dr.Spilkia agreed. My daughter did need root canal on the tooth but said the could dothis from the back if her toith and filled it! NO CAP he is now our family dentist!!

Highly recommend Dr. Spilkia and his dental office! I’ve been coming here for 3 years and always have a great experience. I’m prone to cavities so I’ve had extensive history with dentists my entire life and this office by far has been the most caring and helpful. During every procedure, they walk you through what’s going to happen, which is so important because having needles and drills go in your mouth can be nerve-wracking. I especially appreciated Jamie’s (sp?) help today as she made sure to make me feel comfortable during the procedure and took the time to address every concern I had! I can’t speak highly enough of this practice and actually look forward to my biannual cleaning visits here. Thank you!

My 9 year old daughters previous dentist moved so we were forced to find someone that she would feel comfortable visiting, as she suffers from some severe anxieties. From the moment I was given an appointment (that was days away) I had a feeling that this was going to be a good experience. We showed up a few mins early, to a very clean and neat office, we completed the traditional new patient paperwork and my daughter was immediately taken back for her checkup. The staff was very efficient, courteous and friendly. My daughter had to spend a few mins alone with the hygienist for X-rays which is usually a trigger for her, but the hygienist put her at such ease that she was actually smiling when I walked in. I was happy that I was allowed to go back with her, but I feel safe that she will be ok on her own for future cleanings. I highly recommend this office, doctor and staff.

I love this dentist office. I’m a new patient and the staff if freaking awesome. I found out on Thursday that i needed to get a root canal. I was so nervous because I an terrified of needles, baby when i tell you the staff was so understanding. A couple of them told me about their experience with getting the procedure. I went today and i didn’t not feel a thing during that whole procedure. My nerves were still high but the doctor numbed me so good. He was patient and kept checking to make sure I was okay. I’m so happen I made the switch, I know im going to be in good hands moving forward.

I have had more than my share of bad experiences with dentists in the past that have caused me to have a lot of anxiety and fearful of dentists. Because of this I haven’t been to a dentist in years until I came to Dr. Spilkia. He is the BEST dentist…no anxiety, no fear and always a pain free visit. Lydia, my dental hygienist, is extremely understanding of my fear/anxiety and has always calmed me by explaining everything she is doing which makes me look forward to my visits. ALL of the ladies at Dr. Spilkia’s office are so friendly, polite and welcoming and there is never a wait time! If your appt. is at 5pm, you will be seen at 5pm. I wish I would have found Dr. Spilkia years ago but now that I have I will never go to anyone else!!! I wish I could give them all 10 stars for treating me like family.

Called for tooth pain thinking I was going to have to wait a few weeks they got me in the next day and booked me for my emergency root canal at another office all in the same hour! All of my friends recommended him to me but after my visit I definitely recommend this doctor ! The staff are all very friendly and pleasant made me feel very comfortable as a first time guest. Dr. Spilkia and dental hygienist, Stephanie, take great care of my teeth at every visit. I have been going there for over 10 years religiously every 6 months, because they go the extra mile to get every piece of plaque build-up off my teeth. They are very thorough, yet it never seems to hurt me whatsoever. I don’t think there is a better dental office in the Philadelphia area. Even my sister-in-law is willing to drive up from South Philly to this dental office… because it worth it.
