Dr. De La Pena is the BEST dentist in the entire world.  And I mean that.  I am a 30 year old woman who had some awful early childhood dental experiences (being held down by my mother with a metal guard in my mouth kicking and screaming while a dentist continued to drill) that lead to a severe phobia of dentists.  I would have panic attacks just thinking about going and would only go if something hurt.  About 5 years ago, when my job finally provided dental insurance, someone recommended Dr. De La Pena saying that he was amazing. I called him to make an appointment just to meet him.  By that time I had earned my degree in psyhology and was determined to beat my phonia.  He was patient, kind and willing to explain everything to me. My first visit consistent of just talking… my second visit consisted of xrays and by my third time I got a cleaning.  Now i am a regular every 6 months and even got a filling fixed a week ago with no anesthisia. My entire family now goes including my new fiance who went for the first time a week ago as well.  He walked out saying “That was the most pleasant dental experience I’ve ever had”.  I can not speak enough of how amazing this dentist is. Additionally, his staff is friendly and competent.   Office is clean and equipment is up to date.

By far, this is the best dental experience of my life and for my family.  The staff is caring, patient, and very professional.   To top it all off, Dr. De La Pena is very thorough and personable.  He approaches you with a caring nature and is very willing to work with you regarding your treatment.  I have not encountered one bad experience in the year and a half that I have being seeing him.  I would, without a doubt, recommend this dental group to anyone seeking dental services

I had got a critical tooth problem in the plane coming from Europe and found Dr De La Pena at the internet. They toke me in right away and by a fast and very professional consultation did Dr De La Pena fast find the problem and treatment program agreed. I can highly recommend De La Pena Dental Group.

Dr. Fernando de la Pena is amazing! We’ve been going to him for the past 7 years and he’s just the best! I’ve had horrible experiences with dentists when I first came to US. He’s very very gentle, he does very good work and he’s a very reasonable (it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg). We’ve recently taken our 2 year old with us just to establish a relationship with her future dentist and she loves him too:). It’s great to have a good dentist for our whole family who is trustworthy, reasonable and knowledgeable.

Dr. Dela Pena is a great dentist. He is my dentist for 4 years now. He is very fast but thorough. He is also honest unlike other dentists who would take advantage of your insurance and would do anything to your tooth even it doesn’t need to. He is very honest, he explains what needs to be done. He is very professional and all the crew working in the clinic  from receptionist, to dental assistants. Everybody is nice and accommodating. Thank you Doctor Dela Pena for taking good care of my teeth.

This place is amazing. The doctor is very knowledgeable easy going and someone who really listen to the patient. It has been a pleasure coming here for years and although I don’t want him to get too busy so I can still see him without a long wait, it would be a disservice to society to not share his info. I seriously can’t remember a teeth cleaning with very little pain if any as the ones I get here, but all their services are top notch. And by the way, have I mentioned how amazing of a human being the doctor is and super funny. Highly, highly recommend him. If you are in need of a general dentist, look no further.

I’ve been coming here for two years now Dr Pena does an awesome job with the cleaning. However just make sure you come with nothing to do later because the wait is a little extreme I had an appointment at 1100 have another @ 1230 somewhere else…. Let’s just say I shouldn’t of made the 1230 cuz I missed that. Other than that prefect service. They just have to work on the wait times. Not good!!! especially with everyone’s busy schedule. Hopefully next time I come they’ve worked on that.

Dr. De La Penda is a very good doctor he teaches classes at his office which I would recommend to anybody! I’ve looked around and decided to try this class it was the best choice I have ever made. Thank you so much Dr. De La Pena and his VERY HELPFUL STAFF!! Cheers! Would definitely be 100 stars if I could!

Dr. De La Pena is a good dude. I have visited numerous dentist in my life and I can see he is clearly the most concerned one of all of them. He truly makes you feel that he is there for you rather than the $.

Dr. Dela Pena is a very nice and the best dentist i’ve ever met. He will not take advantage of you and will tell you what you really need to prioritize. The staff are very nice and it’s very easy to schedule an appointment. I would highly recommend them. Im happy with the service. I wish they would do all my dental procedure but they have to refer me to a specialist for wisdom tooth extraction. And they are very respectful to everyone.

A BILLION STARS. OMG DR D HAS BEEN MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS DENTIST FOR 20Y. BEST DAMN DENTIST IN THE WORLD! My kids were 2 & 3y when we were blessed by this kind, caring dentist! They are 25 & 26y now! I live in Long Beach and travel to his office in N LA bc I had trust issues w dentist; my kids continue to see him as well! Amazing family and staff that are like family too! recommend all year every year!

The Dela Pena Dental Clinic has the most up to date technology available for the dental industry. Dr. Fernando has the experience and patience to provide your entire family the best in dental hygiene and care. He’s especially good with young children as he talks them through the procedures he’s performing. His continual education of the most recent techniques also helps one to feel confident they’re being taken care of. His primary concern is a bright smile for everyone. You won’t be disappointed with this dentist.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable & honest dentist. You even get your own TV to watch at your chair! Very kid friendly environment. They also do Zoom teeth whitening & invisalign if you like. Takes PPO insurance but seems to have reasonable cash payment prices. It’s near Tommy’s if you like that stuff. I don’t like Tommy’s though.

Amazing facility. Dr. Dela Pena is the real deal in dentistry , no games , gimmicks or upselling. He was super patient with me and a tooth issue I was afraid to deal with. Very educational and provides the best for his patients . My entire family sees him and I’ve referred several friends to him. He’s warm and caring and helped me solve a long term tooth issue. So thankful .

How I wish I could give more than 5 stars of my review of Dr. Fernando de la Pena,  My dentist of more than 30 years retired and it was a challenge to find a dentist.  I went  on Yelp and found stellar and excellent reviews of Dr. D.  My experience as a first-time patient was awesome.  First, the office staff was very nice, friendly and very welcoming.  Dr. D himself impressed me with his professionalism, knowledge and wealth of experience.  Dr. D and his assistants made me feel relaxed and comfortable and, surprisingly, helped me through the challenging thorough cleaning, which, in all honesty, is not really a fun experience for me.  Who has fun with this?  Anyway, I was proud of myself!  And, it was a very good feeling of my teeth after the cleaning, which is proof of the high quality dental care.  Dr. D is very caring, genuinely sincere and  conservative and I have a strong feeling he is going to save a tooth as long as it can be saved.  I left the clinic with absolute trust in Dr. de la Pena.  He is a very good dentist and, trust me, he will take care of you!  Thank you Dr. de la Pena!

This place was recommended to me and I’m so glad I came here. The staff is so nice! The owners genuinely care about their patients. This place is a drive for me since I usually stay local but it’s worth it. I definitely recommend this place. I’ve been pleased with this place since day one!!

I’ve been going here for many years. I take my entire family and recommended many of my co-workers&friends, all of whom  were always very satisfied. The reason I’m writing a review now is because recently I needed some more involved work and I want to share that Dr. De La Pena as been super professional and extremely good in performing. I’ve been seeing Dr. De La Peña for over a year now and this review is very overdue. He is the most honest, fair, genuine medical professional I’ve ever worked with. It’s clear that his top priority is to help people. Period. He could charge more, he could turn down patients with bad insurance, but he doesn’t. The man truly cares and it’s rare to find. All of this, and he does excellent work. He is highly professional and undoubtedly an expert in his field with deep experience. He’s done plenty of work on my teeth and always did a great job. The experience is also always pleasant and comfortable and his office has a family atmosphere. When you visit Dr. D, he will always do what’s best for YOU– for the well-being of your teeth and for your wallet. I trust him 100%.
