Great dentist, Extremely pleasant staff and office, very high tech. Had to get a crown and completed the work with no pain, and had the crown molded on the spot within the same visit (molding took 12 minutes!). They have a very cool machine/3D printer that cuts it out of porcelain, makes for a perfect fit and is very fast and convenient. Would highly recommend!

Dr Furkioti is progressive, professional and personable. I got a crown from start to finish in 1.5 hrs! It is a perfect color match and fits my nightguard to perfection. I’ve got at least 10 crowns and an implant. I also lost almost half of a tooth a few years ago and he was able to save the tooth with a filling instead of a crown it only took 45 minutes and it is few years old! It feels good and looks good. I previously had a prostodonist as my dentist where it took a least 2 visits to 4 visits to get a crown. Not to mention the temps that constantly fell out. The color matches were soso. I was overbilled twice totaling $800 in upfront payments that wasn’t easy to get refunded.

This is the best dental office. Super clean & cutting edge technology. Everyone from Lynda at the front desk to all the hygienist are top notch. In fact, I’ve moved out of the area and will still drive over an hour to come here. The dr. Has repaired a bunch of my teeth from cracked teeth, root canals, removing & resizing a crown. After years of some dentistry that might have not been up to par, Dr. Furkioti has a job keeping my teeth together. And he is up to it. He and the office are up to date, professional, friendly (genuine), attentive… Dr. Furkioti is an artist, I’m fascinated watching him design a crown for a tooth that was filled around the side many years ago, explaining why he is shaping to both fit and function. His work always fits with the color of my teeth (“latte”), unlike some previous work. The crown was made in his office so one round of local anesthetic for the work and one visit and it was done. The office staff keep track of the parking meters (sigh, Redondo, so busy keeping people from using the public parking for beach going that you can’t eat and shop or use services with out risking a big ticket, and watch for hours of no parking and keep track of meters that don’t work). I like Vicky for my cleaning, she is thorough and attentive to sensitive areas, and gets the cleaning done completely and is pleasant to spend the time with.

Dean Furkioti is simply the best dentist in the South Bay. My family have been patients of his since he took over the practice from his uncle approximately 20 years ago. Professional, caring and always knowledgeable when it comes to the latest technology in the field of dentistry there is none better. The environment in his office is welcoming & friendly, and, more importantly, his employees are as capable & reliable as Dean. I’d give him 10 stars if it were possible (and I am not the kind of individual who gives compliments freely).

I was a patient of Dr. Furkioti for 4 years, and sadly my insurance has changed and I have to find a new dentist. Even though my new insurance isn’t one they use, they offered a free consultation in the even that I feel like another dentist is trying to take advantage, and even offered to help me find another one! I have been a client of Dr. Furkioti’s for 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I can become quite nervous when I have to have dental work done and he always puts me at ease. My dental hygienist, Mandy, is very accommodating, and makes my cleanings a painless experience. I also appreciate the front desk staff – they have a personal touch that makes me feel welcome. Dr. Furkioti is the best dentist and the ONLY Dentist I’ve ever NOT dreaded having to go see every 6 months! He knows what he is doing and he, as well as his entire staff truly care if whatever procedure they are doing on your teeth is painful for you or even slightly uncomfortable for you and are Very accomodating to their patients. I have been going to this Dentist since I was 15-yrs-old. I’m 37 now, but have been going to the Dentist since I knocked out 4 of my front baby teeth when I was 3 years old, when I was in Torrance Park with my dad and fell face first on the P.V. rock lined planter. He also has all the latest equipment and explains ����what its used for and will sometimes show you what it does! I highly recommend if you are scared of going to the denist, that you go to Dr. Furkioti for your dental hygiene!

I normally do NOT write reviews, but this needs to be said. Broke a tooth on Tuesday evening, then Wednesday morning stopped by the office and was given an X-ray and booked for a crown the next day. OMG, did NOT feel ANY pain!!!!! Did NOT feel the shot!!! This Doc is not only the most amazing (and after 54 years and a LOT of work in my mouth I know) dentist I have EVER been too. Dr. Dean you have a patient for life, so stay safe.

As a survivor of Head & Neck cancer, proactive oral care by a DDS who is familiar with the degenerative damage chemo & radiation can do is essential. Dr. Furkioti has been a lifesaver for me. I love Dr. Furkioti and his staff! He is a gentle and painless dentist. My family and I have been going to him for years, and he always makes you feel calm and comfortable. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Furkioti is a lifetime resident of the South Bay. He is a graduate of Redondo Union High School (where he served as Student Body President), USC and the USC School of Dentistry. He has been practicing in the same location since day one and guides his practice toward the cutting edge of dentistry. He was an early adopter of CAD-CAM dentistry, which enables him to deliver a higher level of service to his patients by providing patients with one visit porcelain crown dentistry. He also emphasizes cosmetic dentistry, implants, as well as most other aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Furkioti's goal is to provide each patient with all of the available treatment options, and then, after having had a discussion regarding the patient's needs, he then constructs the appropriate treatment plan for that patient. Dr. Furkioti treats both adults and children and his practice also has wheel chair access. Dr. Furkioti is married to his wife of 30 years and has three children.
