I have been going here since I moved out of my mom’s house and needed my own dentist. Procedures always painless and straightforward. As a kid I was always so scared of the dentist, so I actually didn’t go from ages 18-20 but I’m so glad I found Dr. Debonis! From fillings, to glue in retainer issues, to fixing the white spots on my 2 front teeth, my experience here has been wonderful. Now I’m 24 and have moved all around the city, changed multiple healthcare providers, but will always stay with Dr. Debonis, even when I move away from Pittsburgh lol 🙂

Fantastic dentist and staff! My family and I have been going here 20+ years and always feel comfortable with our treatment and happy with the results. They are all excellent dealing with children too; very calming and interested in talking to them. Dr. DeBonis has contests.for the kids to encourage good hygiene. Dr. Debonis is very knowledgeable about all aspects of dentistry. He even encouraged me to get tested for an autoimmune disease,(because dry mouth is one symptom), and also due to my large number of cavities over the years. The hygienists are also knowledgeable and both they and Dr. DeBonis explain procedures prior to performing them. They ask if I’m comfortable throughout the procedures, and provide items such as a pillow, headphones and tv to make the visit less stressful. The office staff is very competent and helpful with any questions I have. I can’t say enough good about this practice.

I had my first visit today. From the moment you step inside you can tell this dental practice is different. Everyone was so kind, warm and genuine. They took the time to get to know me and made me feel comfortable. Answered all my questions. I haven’t felt this comfortable at a dentist since my childhood dentist that I loved. Highly recommend!

I would recommend these wonderful people to everyone! I hadn’t been to a dentist for a long time and was very apprehensive about this visit since my teeth were bad and I was so embarrassed, but had no choice as I need clearance for a surgery I need to have. From the minute I walked in the door I was made to feel welcomed, valued and comfortable. My dental hygienist, Deb ( and I’m sorry if that’s not her title , I was so nervous ) she was just an angel. She made me feel relaxed and didn’t try to shame me or make me feel crappy about my teeth. She was very kind and understanding. I will never forget and will always appreciate her kindness. The whole staff was so very friendly and helpful. I have to go back next week and I am actually not terrified! Haha..all kidding aside these folks were just wonderful to me today and I recommend them VERY HIGHLY!

I just had a routine cleaning visit at DeBonus Family Dentistry and felt very safe. The receptionist was was very courteous, took my temperature and provided hand sanitizer for me. My detal hygienist today was Deb who was very professional, wore a mask and shield and did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth. It was great to see and speak with Dr. DeBonis as well. It was comfortable seeing CDC guidelines being practiced at this facility and I would definitely recommend going there for your dental care.

I moved to the area a few years ago and I have struggled to find a great dentist in the area. I’ve tried several over the years and I just couldn’t seem to find anyone great. What an amazing community dentist. I am new patient and just started going here in January 2019. I had grown wary of taking 2 buses to Shadyside and the billing lady at my old dental office was rude and I left feeling like something was off but with that being said I now have a new dental home. Dr. DeBonis and his dental assistants do a great job describing in detail what treatment is being preformed and patiently answers all questions. Everyone that I have encountered in the office seem really involved with the patients. Dr. Debonis has a very gentle touch You can also tell he’s a bit of a nerd (like me) and has entertained my question regarding dental chemistry and even encouraged me to learn more and on 1 occasion he returned my called at 7pm to follow up on a concerns I had regarding tooth pain. I recently purchased my first home in Bellevue and have been trying to support local businesses more in more and Dr. Debonis has so far been an excellent community dentist for me. I made my first contact with the dental office via FB messenger and was shocked by how quickly someone got back to me! On my first visit I was given a lovely gift bag and a sweet hand written welcome note!! I’ve had a full dental exam and consultation and two fillings and I am very happy. The office recently was totally renovated everything looks amazing beautiful flooring, and new shiny equipment. I can tell that Dr. Debonis really care about his practice, staff and patients. What a guy!!

I have NEVER been to the dentist before, so obviously I was scared to death. From beginning to end, the experience I had at DeBonis was amazing. Samantha (the front desk assistant) was lovely, and extremely friendly-she made the sitting area feel very homey and warm. Morgan & Rayne (the dental assistants) who were showing me around and going over everything with me, absolutely incredible and educated young women. Morgan (who did my first teeth cleaning, x-rays, break down of work) was extremely thorough and attentive when it came to all of my questions, concerns and helped ease my anxiety through the whole appointment. Bre (the financial guru) was patient and broke down all the costs for me so that I actually understood what I would be paying, and when I would be paying it. Everything is upfront, to what will be done and how much it will be. I highly recommend this dentistry, because they actually care and go above and beyond for their patients.
