Dr. Fitzpatrick is more than just a great dentist, he’s also a great friend. (No seriously, he’s a good friend of mine.) He cares very much about developing solid relationships with his clients and values quality dental care over volume, so you’ll feel well taken care of sitting in his dental chair. He’s also got the best equipment and uses the latest technology, such as digital imaging, and you get to watch some seriously entertaining DVDs during your teeth cleaning. Dr. Fitzpatrick is relatively young and a lot of fun, which helps soften the experience for those of us (who, me? nahhh) who may not enjoy going to the dentist all that often. His staff is also friendly. Every little bit helps, right? While you’re getting your teeth all done up, ask him about his yearly trip to Nicaragua, where he leads a team of dental students to perform free dental care for the poor. He’s got a great story about an interaction with a very high ranking Nicaraguan government official you may or may not have heard of.

My husband and I loved our experience with Dr. Fitzpatrick!!! We are new to San Diego and had been to a dentist in the area previously. The cleaning took 15 min and the dentist barely looked in my mouth… so we decided the search must continue. We found Dr. Fitzpatrick at Del Mar Family Dentistry and could not have had a better experience. Not only did he go through a thorough inspection of my teeth, he even did my cleaning the first time to get to know more about me and my dental history. He is very friendly and laid out all my options clearly without being pushy. Our search for a dentist has ended and we plan to be back in another 6 months. Thank you so much Dr. Fitzpatrick!!

Hadn’t been to the dentist for a loooong time and WOW! Like 10 years and it’s like I stepped into the Twilight Zone (Black Mirror for the youngsters) because I was laying back getting my crown work going watching a video on the ceiling with noise cancelling headphones on that, as the grinding became more intense, I just cranked up the music and didn’t even notice it! Cold and need a blanket? They have one even though I was trying to Man up and not use it! Even the x-ray process was super easy and nothing like the clunky mess I remembered it to be. Ultra Modern office and super friendly staff! I saw pics of the teeth cleaning before, and then after. Let’s just say that I feel like loser for NOT getting this basic service done regularly. Embarrassing, but if it gets you in ask them if they have the pics, they have my permission to show them. The difference is astonishing!!! Don’t be a loser like I was, get their dental plan, which more than covered the yearly cost with the savings I received and I still have more work to do. Dr. Fitzpatrick will be my dentist for life as well as my family’s choice

I had an old bridge replaced recently but found myself putting it off Due to fear of the shots. Dr. Fitzpatrick numbed me with almost no pain-he is a master. The whole process was so much easier than I expected and I even was able to watch a movie during the procedure

I rarely give 5 stars but Dr. Fitzpatrick is AMAZING!!!! So in 2008 I was getting married to my beautiful wife in San Diego and came down from my home town in Lake Tahoe about a week before the wedding. About 4 days before the wedding I had a terrrible pain in my tooth and my gum and jaw started to swell pretty severely. I called Dr. Fitzpatrick and he was able to immedietly schedule me for a Root Canal. Long story short he saved my wedding and more importantly my honeymoon to Panama! 😉  Thanks Dr. Fitzpatrick your the Best

My husband and I both hated going to the dentist but once we found Dr. Thomas Fitzpatric our hate was lifted! He is an amazing dentist who sincerely cares about people. He is honest, detailed oriented and funny! He does his best to make you feel as comfortable as possible while in the chair, you can even watch a movie! My husband and I both have had root canals, fillings, crowns, X-rays and teeth cleanings from him and all were done perfectly and with out pain! We highly recommend Dr. Fitzpatric for your dental needs! Also, the office is clean and the staff are all so nice! You can tell everyone is happy to be there (including the patients!)

Thank you for being so accommodating to my schedule. As always your wonderful staff is a pleasure to deal with. Nancy, my hygienist was so thorough, and gave me many tips for maintaining good oral care. So happy to have such a great dentist!!

Wow, I was so impressed with Dr. Fitzpatrick! This is the place to go if you want to be well taken care of, if you want to be confident that your dentist knows what he is talking about, and if you want to be sure you are taking care of your teeth. I went to three other places in San Diego, and I never really felt like I was heard or that my concerns were taken seriously. With Dr. Fitzpatrick I finally have a place I am comfortable and confident at! His staff is friendly and professional, the office is clean and welcoming, and I and so thankful I came in. Thomas Fitzpatrick is the best dentist we have been to. After going to a dentist who said my husband needed $5,000 in dental work we went to doctor Fitzpatrick for a second opinion. It turned out my husband only needed $300 in dental work. Dr Fitzpatrick is very honest and trustworthy. We now bring all four of our children to him also. My son was petrified of dentists but now he actually enjoys going. Dr Fitzpatrick is great with the kids!

Dr. Fitzpatrick spends a lot of time with his patients and really cares about their well-being. Nicest guy ever! I moved two hours away from San Diego but I’m still going to drive the two hours for my appointments with Dr. Fitzpatrick because he’s the best
