Saw Dr. Karkar while on vacation in San Francisco for an emergency visit due to a broken tooth. Dental Angels took me in right away. Awesome facility with state of the art equipment, friendly, efficient staff, and excellent dentistry had me back out the door to enjoy the rest of my stay. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Karkar and Dr. Marejo for many years now. Dr. Karkar is a wonderful dentist, very dedicated to his profession, and always concerned to do the best possible job. Even under difficult circumstances, he is kind, considerate, and does his utmost to make sure that the procedure is as pleasant as possible. Dr. Karkar uses the latest available technology to make the work as easy as possible; the new xray machine in the Mission office is fantastic – getting an xray was always one of my least favorite procedures, but this new machine makes everything so much easier. The rest of the staff and doctors are equally good. I can’t say enough good things about Dental Angels.

An absolutely fantastic experience in dentistry the likes of which I have never experienced. I went to this office on the referral of my friend, and I’m so glad i made the appointment. Dr. Karkar is truly one of the finest dentist I’ve ever experienced. I have had so many problem with my teeth and felt like wherever I went previously it took a year and never done right. I frankly gave up on getting implants done. Dr. Karkar and Dr Merejo where able to repair the mistakes of my previous dentist in one visit. I was in so much pain for weeks So on a recommendation i took a chance. Let me tell you, i will never ever let another dentist work on me. He was so gentle,he explained what needed to be done and my goodness. Polite, professional, and truly artistic int the work he did on me. I’m gong back to finish all my teeth. I cant wait. I highly , highly , highly recommend this office and Dr. Karkar i wish i could give 10 stars. Go there you wont regret it and you’ll think god you found him and this office.

Yesterday I got my bridge implant. I am so happy with the results. Listen when you see those commercials saying “one day” don’t believe them. Getting dental implants done correctly is a lengthy process, and each case is singular. Dr Karkar led me through the process with a kind and gentle hand. He is a lovely man, and an artist at what he does. Everyone that works there is wonderful. After the month’s long process I feel like I got to know all of them. Thank you Dental Angels!

I came to Dental Angels when on of my front veneers popped off the day after the first Covid lock down in March 2019. My, then, regular dentist was only doing emergency work and didn’t know if he was going to continue his practice with Covid here and his retirement looming. We’d used the veneers as a short term solution to a structurally necessary crown, so this info meant looking for a new dentist and orthodontist who was taking new patients immediately, with a great track record, and be willing to take it on during the earliest days of Covid. Dental Angels answered that call and I could not be happier. From the warm welcomes from whomever when you open the door, especially Angelina, to Lupita’s gentle and exacting skills and to Dr. Karkar’s and Dr. Merejo’s knowledge, insight, and individualized guidance, working with Dental Angels has been a phenomenally positive experience. I have always felt fully understood, educated, and involved in each part of the process, which along with the overall soothing environment has made the dentist days closer to spa days. I cannot speak more highly of this team. The office is inviting, calming, and full of beautiful and vibrant art that is delightful for the eyes and enhanced by careful lighting. Pro-tips: Take a bit of CBD, cue up a couple of podcasts or a great playlist, keep the good sounds in your left ear, leave your right ear open so you can hear directions clearly and…relax. You are in fantastic hands.

I’ve gotten my wisdom teeth extracted here in late August and can’t even describe how happy I am to have chosen Dental Angels. I actually found them on Yelp and got an appointment within a week. My wisdom teeth weren’t impacted – I just wanted them out cause they had a cavity and when they first came out they pushed the rest of my teeth a bit around and since I’m considering aligners right now I wanted then out first. Both of them came out in 1 piece. Within 10 minutes. No pain, no swelling at all. I’m still amazed how flawless this entire process was. So happy to have found Dental Angels!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. They treat every patient like family, and use state-of-the-art equipment and use the latest technology. Dr. Karkar and his team are brilliant, and he uses techniques to where I don’t feel any pain at all when my teeth are extracted. Everyone is also so refreshingly sweet and friendly; the dentists, the assistants, the receptionists.. everyone gives a warm friendly attitude and goes the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable. I honestly think I really did find the best dentist in the Bay Area based on my several dental visits.
