I read excellent reviews for Dr. Stevens and went to see him for a second opinion. My expectations have been exceeded. Dr. Stevens listened carefully, looked at the x-rays I brought and then made a 3-d picture of the whole mouth in addition to x-rays and a few extra x-rays.to have a complete picture for his decision-making and advice. Very few doctors are so thorough and patient-oriented. The office staff and technicians are amazing as well, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr Stevens and his staff are the best. Cleanings are pain-free, which for me is a huge bonus. Also, Dr Stevens tracks changes in my teeth and gums more thoroughly and systematically than any other dentist I’ve been to, which gives me a great sense of how soon I might need additional dental procedures, as well as how well I’ve been brushing and flossing. At the same time, Dr Stevens is definitely not trigger-happy when it comes to filling cavities. I think I’ve had the same 3 cavities for the six years I’ve been seeing him, and every time, he basically says yes, they are still there, but they are not large enough to need filling yet. Unlike the previous dentist I was going to, who had a tiny pre-cavity filled the very first time I saw him. I don’t believe excessive medical intervention is healthy (not to mention, expensive), and so I really like this about Dr Stevens. Can’t recommend this practice enough!

Dear Bostonians, Yes it’s a cliche, but who generally enjoys the dentist? Yeah I’m not a big fan of the sound of the drill or those weird tasting liquids. BUT There is hope and I love my dentist Dr. George Stevens. His office is in beautiful Back Bay, right near the Public Garden. Inside is super calming and both Dr. Stevens and his staff are fantastic. There are two dentists now at Dental Arts of Boston. I have been treated by Dr. Papas for close to 20 years and recently Dr. Papas joined Dr. Stevens at the Dental Arts of Boston. I just had some work completed at the Dental Arts of Boston and both dentists were involved in the treatment. So I can speak from this recent experience that both Dr. Papas and Dr. Stevens at Dental Arts of Boston are very skilled, knowledgeable, and kind. I found this true of the assistants as well. I am most fortunate to have found Dr. Papas, and now Dr. Stevens. Everyone in the office is very kind. Prior to finding Dr. Papas, (which is many years ago now), I went to 7 or 8 dentists. I recommend that other dentists get their dental work done at Dental Arts of Boston so as to learn how they can improve their clinics

Dr. Stevens is very patient and is definitely the most skillful dentist I have ran into so far in America. I have an implant done by 3 different dentists who lied about the methods and passed on problems, the crowns and the stud kept breaking(!!) and every time they wanted more money to fix it. Other than not trying to fix the problem permanently, they were rude and very high handed once I paid them. I was fed up and embarrassed because my crown (Front tooth!) fell off in front of people at least 3 times. Finally through recommendation I found Dr, Stevens and he patiently evaluated my situation and suggested a totally new method in making the new crown. I cannot believe the time he was willing to spend on fixing it. While all dentists before pushed me out in less than 30 minutes, he took his time and never hurried in his job. Even the temporary crown he made looked better than the two different expensive real crowns I was forced to accept. I am waiting for the final porcelain crown but I already have a feeling that my implant will be really permanent this time after 4 years. Because during 4 years with this implant I had never dare to bite into an apple without worry, now even with the temporary crown of plastic, the new method is so good that I am truly eating things as if it is my real tooth. I bite into things without having nightmares!! I will definitely recommend Dr. Stevens!!

I was feeling self-conscious about it before my upcoming wedding. Dr Stvenese has been my dentist for 13 years. I continue going to him though we moved out of that area and it’s extremely hard for me to get there.
