I had a very painful tooth that had split and become infected. They took very good care of me and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. The entire thing was basically painless and over in under two hours. They were very punctual and provided explanation & cost estimates of future work needed.

I went to Varinos Dental Associates of Arlington to see what was going on with a tooth I was having a lot of pain in; I have extreme dental anxiety so I put off going to the dentist for a long time. Jacqui, the dental assistant, was super sweet! She took an x-ray of my tooth and stayed and talked to me the whole time; she made me feel so comfortable. I met with Dr. Vora and we went over my x-ray together. She said I needed a root canal and showed me right there on the x-ray where the problem was. I had a hundred questions about the procedure, including how much it would cost and what my insurance would cover. Dr. Vora walked me to meet the office manager, Sharon. She sat down with me and broke everything down; she answered every question I had. By the time I left, I knew exactly what was going to be done and exactly how much it cost. I was so impressed! I was seen two days later to have the root canal and it was the easiest procedure I have ever had done! I have had fillings done at previous offices that hurt, even after the anesthesia wore off; I was pain free! I felt immediate relief! I was so impressed with the whole procedure and the whole staff that I booked a cleaning and in-office whitening! The in-office whitening visit was just as great! I had heard from friends that went to other offices that this type of whitening could burn, so again, I was nervous. Nancy, the receptionist, greeted me right away and Jacqui came right out and took me back to the dental chair. Jacqui explained everything she was going to do before she did it so my anxiety lowered. She even put this green gel on my gums so the bleach wouldn’t burn! She painted the bleach on and put a light on my teeth; it was 3 rounds of 20 minutes each round. It was actually kind of relaxing! When I was done, everyone, including myself, saw a definite color change. My teeth were, and still are, finally white! I am having my cleaning next week and I can’t wait. Jacqui introduced me to both hygienists, Shannon and Jamie. Both girls seem so sweet. I never thought I would say this, but I love going to the dentist now!

I recently had some significant dental surgery performed by Dr. Vora. I approached the day of the appointment with some trepidation and requested nitrous oxide as a sedative during the procedure. I should not have been concerned. Dr. Vora is very likely the most skilled and most pleasant dentist I have ever had. Her professional demeanor exudes confidence and compassion. Once she began this procedure she was efficient and thorough. It was hard work, and I felt completely comfortable with Dr. Vora. Her follow up instructions were detailed and she answered any questions I had before I left. Her Dental Assistant, Marissa, was also terrific. Organized and informative, she also kept me comfortable for the two hours of the procedure. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have selected Dental Associates of Arlington for all of my dental needs now and in the future.

Like some of the other reviewers, I had a dentist-phobia and as a result hadn’t actually seen one in many years. After deciding to finally use my dental benefit that I had been paying for from my employer, I did some research and came across Dr. Vora.  I decided to give it a shot and made at appointment.  I was dreading the first appointment for fear that I’d be told I’d need root canals, cavities filled, implants, and the whole works since I hadn’t seen a dentist in so long. The initial visit went really well.  Dr. Vora has a great bed-side manner.  She explains everything thoroughly before she does them and makes sure the patient is completely comfortable before proceeding with anything.  This sort of transparency and honesty is what I value most in a doctor, best describing Dr. Vora. I also never felt like I got sold on procedures that were not necessary (needing a cavity filled, etc.).  I am definitely going back and would highly recommend her.

Guys… I put off going to the dentist for 4 years. FOUR YEARS. The amount of dread that had built up over that time and the amount of mental space it took up in my mind thinking about how I needed to find a dentist and schedule an appointment and what if I needed fillings and oh god what if it was even worse and I needed a root canal etc. etc. was crushing me. I recently moved and looked online and found their site and reviews and the ability to make an appointment online was a huge plus (somehow the dread of the phone made the whole idea of getting this overwith that much more insurmountable). But let me tell you. They were so nice. So friendly. So funny. I don’t know that I could ever describe a dentist’s office as a place I’d *want* to go haha… but if I could, this would be the one. Everyone there is so kind and accommodating and patient, doing everything possible to disarm nervous nellies like me. I ended up needing 3 fillings and was a nervous wreck about them. Getting a filling is never going to be ‘pleasant’, but they made it as comfortable as it could be (and did an amazing job. Dr. Vora is incredible!). They took care to ask what I was nervous about and accommodated my fears (I don’t fear needles at all but I hate the sensation of the numbing stuff in my throat so they didn’t use topical gel and were careful to not have any novocaine drip down after injecting). As long as I live near here and even if I don’t haha, I would make the effort to come here for my future dental work, which will hopefully be just cleanings from here on out!! Congrats if you made it through to the end of this long review. But if you were on the fence, hopefully you aren’t now. Go see Dr. Vora and her staff. You won’t be disappointed!!

It’s weird going to the dentist during a pandemic, but Dental Associates of Arlington made me feel safe, comfortable, and had phenomenal communication throughout the whole process. They’ve really taken the extra step to keep Arlington safe. My dental hygienist was fantastic. She always talks me through every step, answers and asks for questions. I usually hate going to the dentist, that hasn’t changed lol, but now I leave with a smile! Highly recommended

Dr. Vora and her staff have been exceptional with my dental care! The staff is friendly, courteous and understanding of my needs. After working with several dentist offices in Boston near my work, I decided I needed a dentist closer to home in Arlington and after doing some searching, I stumbled on Dr. Vora’s office and I am so glad I did! Recently I had a dental emergency over the weekend and Dr. Vora called me back personally on a Sunday morning to learn more about what happened and got me in to see her the next morning! I have also been treated by Dr. O’Conner and Dr. Perski, who have also provided excellent and timely care! I highly recommend Dental Associates of Arlington!

Dr. Vora was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend her to other patients seeking high-quality dental care in the Boston area. She was professional and highly skilled, but I found that the major difference between her and other dentists I’ve seen in the past is that she was quite personable and turned what could have been an unpleasant experience into a positive one.
