Like many people, I never trusted dentist for most of my life. My last dentist was literally down the street from Dr. Gharibian’s office and it was the worst (Castle Dental). Castle would have me sit in the waiting room for 45 minutes, then have me sit in the dental chair for 30 minutes before I saw a dentist. Not to mention I showed up twice for an appointment only to be told my dentist was off that day and once they lost my inlay? All this was wasted time I had to take off from work. Dr. Gharibian takes the time to explain and show me video and x-rays of what is wrong and what my options are. I can tell he takes the time to make sure his work is done right. Everyone in the office is nice and very professional. His office manager Zohreh is very accomodating and will work with you and your situation to make sure your a happy customer. I’ve already recommended this office to my friends and co-workers.

I have been visiting the offices of Dr Alen for seven years. One of the reasons I picked Dr. Alen was I was checking out dental web sites ,and Dr Alen had a great web site. The care, time, and money he has put into his office and equipment is amazing. Dr.Alen is a very personable friendly skillful dentist. His staff from the front desk to his dental technicians/hygienists have all been very professional. His office and dental rooms, all hi tech clean and comfortable.

I’ve been going to dental center of Redondo Beach for many years. I have been super happy with my care & treatment. Dr. Alen recently did an implant for me. It was done very professionally step by step over several weeks(typical for an implant) He & staff are very skilled and pay attention to detail and cleanliness. Location is also convenient w free off street parking.

On September 01, 2011 H.C from Hermosa Beach visited Dental Center Of Redondo Beach. H.C had x-rays and an exam done, The dentist who is not a car salesman, told her that she needed a deep cleaning which also showed in the x-rays taken that day. H.C stormed out of the office upset without wanting to hear any information about the treatment needed. She informed her insurance who we kept in touch with for this case. We later received a letter from the insurance On September 13,2011 stating that the treatment diagnosed to H.C was correct and the treatment plan that was provided meet the standard of care.The patients grievance has been resolved and closed.At Dental Center Of Redondo Beach we try our best to provide good care to the patients.

I must say that this is a good doctor, i had him in 2006 and i was pleased and i tried to go back but the office relocated and i didn’t know where he went, it turns out that they moved behind my house on hawthorne blvd!!!!!!. I, for some reason didn’t trust dentist on hawthorne blvd, but in one time i had to go there for emergency and it turns out it was him…. the dental cleaning was beyond good!!. i strongly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Gharibian and his staff are great! My son had an accident at school and injured his two brand new adult teeth, we called them and they took us immediately, turns out my son had a minor concussion so we rushed him to the ER but his staff was ready to have him back the very next morning to asses the damage (there wasn’t any, thank Goodness) but just to know that we could reply on them in this emergency was great and to note we are new patients to the practice so I am very happy with their services thus far!

Ok, now I don’t look forward to going to the dentist any more than you do, but after going to Dr. Gharibian for 2 years, 3 crowns and 6 fillings later, I want to say that he’s been the most gentle dentist I’ve been to. It’s never fun, but my experience with him and his team has been the least painful and least difficult of all the dental work I’ve had done (which in the past has included braces, retainers, and more). I highly recommend Dr. Gharibian if he’s in your network or neighborhood.

I was hesitant when Blue Shield HMO assigned me to this practice… After today’s visit I am very happy. The front desk lady is super nice and friendly. The office is lovely and spotless. Dr. Gharibian was very professional, thorough and kind. I did not feel ‘sold’ to at all, like some reviewers felt. He told me my gums were in great shape (unlike my last dentist who tried to get me to spend $600 filling them in). He filled a cavity I already knew I had. He was extremely perfectionistic about the filling and later told me he gave me some grooves, since I had ground my teeth flat. I really appreciate this extra touch. Next to the visible cavity was something that looked suspicious, so he took care of that at no extra cost. He didn’t obnoxiously point any of this out, btw. I just deduced the work done vs. what I paid. I also very much like that. My last dentist made a big deal about every little thing she did and it was very annoying… especially since the work wasn’t impressive. Dr. G’s work seems very through. My hygienist made me laugh the entire time and is very good at her job. I felt my teeth were cleaned and polished with great care. The only hiccup is that all my x-rays that I had taken were not able to be saved because of some computer error. They had to take a screen shot of my x-rays and print it out on paper. Oh well, I am not that concerned about it. The doctor thought everything was fine. I felt very comfortable and most importantly, I feel like my teeth were cleaned perfectly. This was a very pleasant trip to the dentist. I am soooooo happy I switched practices.

Awesome dentist, insurance covers most cost. I like that they show me what is wrong on the photos ahead of doing work. I don’t know about the complaints I see in other reviews. I’m pretty skeptical when it comes to many things and Dr. Gharibian seems to verify and show me before we move before. The one thing that stands out to me is that Dr. Gharibian seems to always says please and thank you to his hygienists – a little thing, but respect for his people is a good indicator how one can expect him to respects his patients.

I absolutely love this place! I just moved here from Reseda,Ca and I needed to find a local dentist (a friend of mine recommended them, so I gave it a shot) I walked in and before I could sit they called me in, which is great because the previous dentist had us waiting for 30 min or so in a crowded waiting area with crying children…Even though we had an appointment! They took my x-rays and the doc did my exam. The staff was very curteous very professional and the doctor is NOT pushy. He gets straight to the point, gives you options and lets you know what is most important and should be treated first. I cant wait to bring the rest of my family here. Great experience!

I am very proud to be the first person writing about Dr. Gharibian. I was reffered to Dr.Gharibian by a friend of whom I have known for over thirty years. Since that guy is a physician in the area, I take his opinion about his dentist very seriously, and I was right to trust his recommend of Dr. Gharibian. Dr.Gharibian was able to help me immediately with a little dental disaster I experienced recently; he placed three implants at the same visit. Doctor’s calm manner and professionalism is so reassuring and comforting. His skill in painlessly resolving the problems, and patience with me ( a very nervous engineer with a ton of questions, was also of great benefit to me). I recommend him now to all my friends and fellow dental chickens. Dr. Gharibian is the best!

I have lived 30 years in Palos Verdes.There are many dentists in Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills Estate which are almost walking distance to my house. I did not have good experience with two of them in particular. Upon complaining to my Insurance, Delta Dental Care, the nice lady introduce Dental Center of Redondo Beach to me because of Dr. Gharibian. It is now over 12 years I drive over 18 miles and go to Dr. Gharibian office for my dental care. Dr. Gharibian is extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable in his field. I am a physician myself and am extremely meticulous about my oral health and hygiene. Dr. Gharibian has created state of the art dentistry with excellent staff. The manger of the office, Ms. Zohreh is the key in my opinion to Dr. Gharibian success. She is kind, professional and knowledgeable. When I needed a crown or route canal, Zohreh explained to me the procedures, called my insurance and got the codes, deductibles etc, and provided me with the final cost. She herself is a unique dental hygienist and assists Dr. Gharibian when necessary. She always checks on the patients when x-rays are taken, etc to create a comfortable environment for them. One other unique quality of this dentistry is the way the patients are accommodated either, appointment wise or during emergencies. Again Ms. Zohres is the key to this unique arrangements. I should not forget to mention Virginia, the nice, kind and pleasant receptionist. and the new hygienist Ms. Merle, whom I had the opportunity to meet today. Dr. Gharibian conducts an oral cancer examinations for his patients free of charge. I would like to thank him and congratulate him for his excellent choice of Zoreh as his manager and the rest of his unique staff.

Well on my vist the receptionist greeted me in a welcoming manner she is very friendly and professional. I want to thank the technician that cleaned my teeth she was ever so gentle and expressed some extra steps for me to take to keep under my implants cleaned. So, let me start with how much anxiety dentists give me! I’m a chicken when it comes to dental work. After going here, I’m no longer so scared (the drill sound still freaks me out lol). I’ve used this dentist over the last year for a few different things. Parking is fine and its usually easy to get an appt scheduled for the next week. VERY clean and modern building with high tech equipment. Friendly staff and they call you a day before to confirm. I had my wisdom tooth pulled, I had the right amount of anesthesia and felt nothing. I am filled with anxiety (borderline phobia) every time I take medication and when I was noticeably fidgeting he and his asst both stopped in their tracks and asked if I was okay. I asked them if I could listen to my iPod while they worked and they let me get that on. I also watched the whole thing on a screen in front of me and They also have me a handheld mirror. The asst was on top of suctioning and giving me cups to rise. Afterwards I was given a prescription oh and I forgot to add I also had a bone graph to build my gum back up. They let me look at it, it’s powered bone. At my two week follow up appt. I was concerned that I had a hole in my gums, the DR Showed me with a camera that actually it wasnt a hole it was closed and healing great, the hole was covered with gum and he said it could take months to close the hole to gum level depending on the person. He was right my hole is now completely filled in nicely. I had a filling I had put in in my teens it was large. I was told by another dentist that I needed a crown. This DR said it was a rather large filling but there was no need for a crown and I got that repaired a year ago here too. No pain and looks and feels great and smooth on my tongue. So glad I didn’t get a crown!

I was a first patient just recently. I was having issues with my insurance and the receptionist, Virginia was a lot of help getting it sorted out and was very nice. I got an amp ointment fairly quickly (within the same week as calling). I got ex rays done, a regular cleaning and a quick filling in under an hour. The Dentist was very cool, and the lady who cleaned my teeth was awesome too. Definitely recommend this place.

I am a college student and cannot afford expensive dental treatments. I had been having sensitivity for the past several years and all my previous dentists did were offer me crowns which is quiet expensive for me. At the Dental Center of Redondo Beach the dentist told me that the reason I have sensitivity is because I am grinding my teeth and wearing a night guard will relieve my sensitivity. Since wearing the night guard my teeth are no longer sensitive. I am very happy with the result and thankful to the doctor who saved my teeth from unnecessary crown placements.
