A few days ago, I went to New York Midtown Dental in NYC. They took x-rays and did a cleaning. They said my teeth were in dire shape, that I needed four crowns over old fillings, that all my front crowns/veneers that were done for cosmetic reasons needed to be replaced, I needed an implant on one tooth as well as a root canal and crown on another tooth. They even said I needed to see a periodontist in their office to check my gums. They scheduled me three appointments. Needless to say I panicked and wanted a second opinion. I previously went to Dr. Isakov for cosmetic work and extractions of my wisdom teeth when he worked in Bayside. When I googled him, I was surprised to see he was open in Long Island. He agreed to see me two days later for a second opinion. His office is very clean and spacious. The dental assistant is incredibly kind and nurturing. She kept apologizing for taking retaking xrays because I have a hard time staying still. Then she put on some cool music while Dr. Isakov went over my xrays. He said I didn’t need a root canal and had no infection. That he wouldn’t touch my fillings because they were fine. He said I might need an implant but he wanted to wait and see in six months if it got better. So low and behold, that extensive treatment plan from Midtown Dental was completely exaggerated. Thank god I didn’t let them begin that expensive and painful dental treatment. Thankfully, Dr. Isakov is an honest doctor. It is very hard to find an ethical dentist that you can trust. I very strongly recommend him as an honest and thorough dentist especially if you need a second opinion.

This place is simply the best from the moment you walk in, to the second you leave, you’re treated like royalty. Dr. Arthur and his staff are the most friendly and accommodating people. When seated in the room for x-rays/cleaning they ask what your preference of music is and they played in the background.Carol did my cleaning and did a fantastic job. She was very gentle and the procedure was pain-free. All in all I’m not a fan of the doctors or dentist but my experience here was top notch. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs.

A lengthy review but worth the read!!! I am a person who is beguiled by a nice smile, in turn, I like to be represented by nice teeth. In my search for a new dentist, I came across Dr. Arthur Isakov at Dental Concepts. I was able to get a same day appointment and was even accommodated when I showed up earlier than scheduled (I recommend that you call ahead when asking for such convenience). Their customer service got me into the office, appearance of the office impressed me, and service made me a new client. I came in for a routine visit and a few questions. The staff is easygoing, professional, and knowledgeable. It was a smooth transition from respectionist to Dr. Isakov. I chipped my tooth twice, same tooth, about 20 and 17 years ago, respectedly. Going from chipped tooth to a permanent crown I was more than satisfied. However, I had a porcelain crown with metal filling which caused an embarrassing black appearance at the gum line. Right at the money maker the upper central incisor. After being told for years, by other dentist, that they wouldn’t change it, really discouraged me and dimmed my infectious smile/laugh. Dr. Isakov restored hope when a routine visit turned into a life changer. Within a week I had a temporary replacement, follow-up appointments, and my new smile. But most importantly a new lifelong dentist. Dr. Isakov gave me his honest professional advice, while making me maintain a sense of autonomy. Dr. Isakov and his team was able to do this as news of the pandemic was about to cripple New York. Dr. Isakov and staff is personable, professional, and knowledgeable, even with me being astute and inquisitive. I have my mojo back with my new smile, and it was all done while jamming out to my choice of 90’s hit. Highly recommended dentist but music, video or movie choice is up to your comfort, unless you like 90’s hits. What could be better?

Dr Isakov has sooo much patience and communicates with you throughout any procedure. The front desk reception gives a lovely aura upon arrival and they are in constant contact with you about your appointments and or any concerns that may come up. I wish all dental offices were like Dental Concepts. They take a hands on, caring approach in your care. It is not uncommon for Dr. Isakov to personally contact you to see how you are feeling after a procedure. He takes his time and listens to all your concerns. He doesn’t shame you, talk down to you or make you feel judged to rush you into a decision. He understands that some of us suffer from dental anxiety and does his best to put his patients minds at ease. He has a state of the art office with everything needed to complete procedures most offices will refer out.

Dr. Isakov is the absolute best dentist there is! I called his office one morning in a lot of pain. He took me in that same day. I was extremely nervous, but he made me feel so much better. The office is clean with all new equipment. Everyone had on masks and was very careful and conscious due to Covid19. Dr. Isakov and his staff are all so kind and comforting. Within minutes I knew I had come to the right place and was in good hands. We looked over the x-rays together and Dr. Isakov explained everything to me and gave me all my options. I had a lot of work done and he and his wonderful assistant kept checking to make sure I was ok and made jokes to make me laugh! I honestly would not have gotten through it if I went somewhere else. They called me the next morning to see how I was feeling. They really are just the best. I recommend Dr. Isakov without any hesitation. If I could give 10 stars I would!

After complaing of tooth pain, I looked into my 11yo daughter’s mouth and saw a small black speck on her molar. Turns out she needed a root canal. Both my daughter and I (as a parent) were nervous at first, but Dr. Isakov and his team were so sweet, and so professional, that we quickly knew we had nothing to fear.They shared and were happy to explain what they found in the x-rays and what needed to be done.Not once did my daughter show sign of discomfort or pain while the procedure was being performed. And this is a root canal for goodness sake! The facilities are state of the art and immaculate. They let my daught choose whatever music she wanted from Pandora. My wife and I were impressed the caring follow ups phone calls Dr. Isakov made personally to make sure that my daughter was alright and free from pain. I travel from the Flushing area. The parking is convenient. They provide wifi. And there is an elevator for wheelchair accessibility. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Isakov and his team for your dental needs.

I drive all the way from Brooklyn to see Dr. Isakov. I have been going to him for years (for cosmetic work for my front teeth and extractions of my wisdom teeth). A good dentist isn’t only knowledgeable but also very skillful like a surgeon needs to be. His work is very pristine and he is very careful (I have had bad experiences with other dentists in the past). He is also very ethical and very honest about what work is needed. Went in for wisdom tooth extractions and Dr. Isokov and his staff made me feel so comfortable and talked me through everything. Let me start by saying I do not ever write reviews but Dr. Isokov is worth a good one. I first got my root canal a year and a half ago I had a bad infection and no insurance and he was one of the few that took me within a short amount of time. I came back to him to get finish the crown and I’m glad I made that decision. When my crown finally came in he gave me a call and although I didn’t have an appointment he still told me to come in and he’ll take care of because he knew I was in discomfort. This was a day after his daughter was just born when I knew he wanted to be home but he still came in too work for a short amount of time to take care of his patients. He always makes you feel comfortable and never pressured. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a dentist. He is by far the best dentist that I have ever been too. He has extremely well people skills and cares about his patients. He always went out of his way to accommodate me. If anything ever bothered me he always told me to come in with no problem to get it handled. You don’t meet a lot of Dentist like Dr Isakov this who put the patient first. Don’t make the mistake of going to any other dentist.

Where to begin here? A few weeks ago, I developed a toothache that refused to go away. I already had an appointment with another dentist later during the month, but when I called the office to see if I could move it up, she was nowhere to be found. I called another office. This one had no power due to the hurricane we just had and therefore was not able to take me in. I then called Dr. Isakov. He picked up right away, told me he had an opening that morning and took me in without an issue. I noticed when I got to the office that the place was small, but impeccably clean. The assistant took me in for my X-rays and she was extremely accommodating when she realized I had a hearing loss. I thought this was considerably thoughtful because not so many people would be so patient and having someone like that there made me feel comfortable. Dr. Isakov came in, took a look at my X-rays and confirmed that I needed not only one root canal, but two. Never having serious dental work done before, I was nervous about it, but made the next appointment to get it done. The procedure surprised me in many ways, it was painless and Dr. Isakov made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. The end result is phenomenal. I could not be happier and I am like an excited kid showing off a new toy. I’ve learned that this is a family business and everyone there, both related and non-related treat each other like family. They work well together and I very much enjoy visiting them and watching them work. Dr. Isakov knows what he is doing and knows how to manage his office very well. He cares about his patients (not only just him, but the whole office from the receptionist to the hygienist) and his work is superb. His staff is very attentive and I’ve always felt very safe with them whenever they were assigned a task to work on my root canals. The hygienist is fantastic too, basically no pain (or maybe that’s just on my side) and does the job well. There is basically no wait (maybe 5-10 minutes tops), technology is up to date and appointments are easy to make. 10 out of 5 stars, I would highly recommend this office 100 times over.

I don’t have anything negative to say about them! I came back in December last year for an emergency filling that fell out from a previous dentist. They took me immediately and was understanding. I came in at the end of the day, December 23rd. Right before the holidays. They even gave me a teeth cleaning instead of pushing me to come back another day. 8 months later, as I’m writing this now after my appointment, the staff is still super friendly. The place is still clean. And my teeth are cleaner and happy.

This dental practice is amazing. From the receptionist Ilana to the X-ray tech to the dentist himself. I was impressed with how much they care about their patients and treat everyone like they are a family friend. The atmosphere is comfortable stylish and CLEAN. Dr. Isakov is fantastic and so is the entire staff at his practice. The office and rooms are always perfectly clean and sanitized, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and reassuring. They keep their appointment times, they’re great with follow ups, and are always accessible. Dr. Isakov explains everything step by step and shows you your x-rays on the wall mounted monitor (that’s playing your favorite pandora station) so that you’re in the loop about your procedure the entire time. I highly recommend!! Hands down the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I was experiencing an abscess, I called at 9:30am and Dr. Isakov took me right away. Himself and his staff are excellent, they have wonderful bedside manor and make you feel at ease (especially someone like me who gets extreme anxiety during anything dental related). The office is so clean and quite aesthetically pleasing. My procedure was quick, painless and I can’t thank them enough! So happy to have found a such a great dentist 🙂
