Dr Ortega is the best dentist bar none. I have been a patient of hers for more than 20 years. I had many dentists in the 40 years before her and only 1, who was based in Massachusetts, came close to her level of ability. She is the only dentist who has been able to get my mouth sufficiently numb so I wouldn’t be anxious during any procedure. Dr Ortega is not only highly skilled but also honest and caring, willing to take the time to explain what needs to be done and what will take place. I also had her straighten my teeth with Invisalign braces and the results are fantastic! I highly recommend Dr Ortega to anyone looking for a new dentist or if you’re not happy with your current dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Ortega for over two years now and I couldn’t be happier. It all started when my daughter had a sport accident and chipped her front tooth and we scheduled an appointment to see her and she did such an amazing job with her that I decided to get consultation for myself to get Invisalign treatment. She was very thorough with her explanation of treatment and once I started the treatment, she monitored the whole process so close and detailed and I am SUPER HAPPY with the end result. I get so many complements on my teeth now and I keep looking in the mirror and I’m amazed how perfect my teeth look now. Thank you Dr. Ortega. I will never go to another dentist.

This dentist is the bomb! Wow! I am a wimp when it comes to having dental work done but she is sooo gentle! I used to have to have nitrixoxide before having novicaine. No more!! I dont feel the needle! She saved me hundreds of dollars fixing my post. Dr. Ortega stays current on the latest techniques. She not only replaced my old fillings but made them look good!

Dr. Ortega is a great dentist who is dedicated to her profession. My family has been going to Dental Cosmetix for over 15 years and we have always had a great experience. Dr. Ortega is always accessible whenever we need immediate attention and is very thorough in her routine cleaning and examination. More importantly, Dr. Ortega always keeps up to date on current developments in the field of dentistry. This gives me a level of comfort that I am receiving the best possible dental care. I have been a patient of Dr.Ortega since I was 6 years old, I am now almost 21 years old. She has always been consistent and caring! From bi-annual cleanings, Invisaligns, to removing my wisdom teeth; she always gets the job done right! Would always recommend Dr.Ortega to anyone looking for a dentist in the Fairfax area.

I dread going to the dentist, don’t you?! I used to have to have nitrous oxide prior to letting anyone work on me. Then I found Dr. Ortega. She is thorough, extremely gentle, and cleans my teeth herself. When I’ve had to have dental work done requiring injections, I couldn’t feel the needle! She has taken the fear and dread out of dental care for me. Definitely, go!

There’s really no chance of us switching dental practitioners, as Dr. Thu-Nga Ortega sets the gold standard for oral healthcare. In terms of convenience, quality of care, and overall atmosphere, Dental Cosmetix is consistently out performing competing practices in the Northern Virginia area. After having my four wisdom teeth removed, I experienced 0 swelling. After the procedure, I followed the detailed after-care instructions they provided me and had a hassle-free healing process. Would recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Ortega for over 2 years now. Unlike other dentists, she very takes her time during your visit and only recommends what is really needed for my teeth. I intially came for the Invisalign but switching from my previous dentist to her office. My teeth look so much better after my Invisalign and I get so many compliments. Will continue to going to her office for a very long time.

Dr. Ortega did my filling, cleaning, and extracted my upper two wisdom teeth. Needless to say it was a seamless and calming experience. I was slightly nervous in the beginning as I have never been through any of the procedures or even had anesthetic before. Dr. Ortega made sure to let me know that I was in good hands and helped me stay calm. I did not feel a thing when I received the anesthetic!!!! It was actually quite fun. Even if there was a slight pinch Dr. Ortega walked me through the entire procedure to let me know what exact sensation I was going to feel. As well as with the extraction of the wisdom teeth she made sure I knew that there may be slight pressure and I may feel slight pulling. I loved this as I knew exactly what to expect, being that I was a first timer. The extractions were done so smoothly that both were out within 5 MINUTES !!!!! I did not feel any pain and in fact I was so consumed by Dr. Ortega’s conversation and the views outside the windows of the office that I did not even know the teeth had been pulled out !!!! I can go on and on about the pleasant experience that I had, but what I felt in the end was that I was taken care of and that Dr. Ortega genuinely cares about the health of my teeth. It can be seen with the extra steps that she takes to make sure I was taken care of in every aspect whether it be with the technique of the procedures themselves or the atmosphere of the office with the scenic views and calming scents. She’s amazing!

I honestly don’t know why I haven’t left a review sooner I’ve been going to dr Ortega for years i used to hate going to the dentists but since I’ve been a client of hers I’ve had no problem going in she always walks me through everything she’s doing talks and makes me feel comfortable and has recently closed the gap in my teeth and made my smile perfectttt ! I HIGHLY recommend her !
