My family and I have been patients at DGW for more than 30 years. Dr. Poole and Dr. Thomas are truly the best – personable, gentle, talented and honest. They are passionate about their profession and it is reflected in every aspect of the practice. The hygienists are all equally as wonderful. Kim and Lisa are our favorites, they always take great care of our kids and make their 6 month check up enjoyable rather than scary. If you “hate” going to the dentist, the staff at DGW will change that without trying!

After not having been to the dentist in over 10 years, I was very apprehensive, but needed care. I was immediately put at easy by the staff, had an amazing visit with Dr. Thomas who was also very thorough, and the staff was friendly. Though I had a few problems, they didn’t overwhelm me and created a care plan that will be easy to manage and won’t break my wallet!

I haven’t been to the dentist in 10 Years .I had a bad experience so my dr told me about his dentist so I went anexity kicked in they are the best know how to deal with anexity like me just went back and got a deep cleaning they saved my teeth .on Tuesday went in to get a chipped tooth fixed it put a new filling in never hurt.i just love them

I love this place and the people who work there! I originally came here because they offered sedation therapy while dental work was being done, but now I don’t use it thanks to the trust that has been built with them. Whether its Dr. Thomas, Dr. Poole, Andrea, Julie, or any other staffer you know you will be in great hands. I highly recommend them.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I had been to my old dentist 3 times in a month because the was in serious pain and they couldn’t diagnose the problem. A friend referred me to Dr. Thomas. He diagnosed and started treatment within 10 minutes! The staff is amazing and Dr. Thomas is a wonderfully personable and knowledgeable man. He actually demonstrated what was going on and explained in great detail what treatment would consist of. I’m so happy I became a part of the family and will be sending everyone I can to this practice!

I have been a patient at DGW for about 20 years. Dr. Thomas has done everything from changing out metal fillings for porcelain to crowns to bite guard. Dr. Thomas is not only an excellent dentist he is a kind and compassionate person. And to top that off, he has a great sense of humor. Much needed for me when I am sitting in his chair with my mouth open. Lisa is my hygienist and has been from Day 1. She is also excellent and also a kind and compassionate person. What a fantastic team and a great office. The staff is well-trained, highly professional and make sure you are comfortable and have all of your needs met. In this busy, money-hungry world, I feel thankful to having this trusting team on my side.

I have been to a various dentist in the Toledo area and have never received the type of service offered at Dental Group West! I am very sensitive to dental visits because of prior experiences but I am always happy to visit with Dr. Thomas, Amy and the staff here. I’ve been to many dentists over the years- because I was not satisfied with treatment, chairside manner, scheduling or the such. Dental group west is amazing! You won’t hate going to the dentist anymore if you are a patient there! My husband wasnt keen on driving the 45 min it takes to get there but after the 1st visit he said he wished he’d switched sooner!
