Firstly, I just want to say how wonderful the staff is. From the receptionist to the assistant, the dentist and the owner all make you feel comfortable and welcome. I came in as a walk-in. I did call ahead of time to see if I could be seen today but they were able to put me in even though they were booked up. When I got there I didnt have to wait long and they were thorough when they took my x-rays to see why I was in so much pain. Come to find out, I needed a root canal, I desperately needed a deep clean and I had multiple cavities. They worked with me and my insurance to start the process of getting my dental health where it needs to be. I left their office today pain free and am looking forward to continuing the work that needs to be done. Definitely recommend this Dental office. The staff is super helpfull. My daughter is really nervous about seen a Dentist, both the dentist and the assistant put her at ease.  At check out time the receptionist Aura was so helpful gave us our next appointment Sylvia the office manager answered all my questions as well.  I been to the office twice and both times they have made sure we left happy. I went to Dental Pros and was extremely happy. I have had an issue with my back molar for years and my prior dentist always told me to try to keep it clean as best as I could. I know that I have gum issues so I floss daily and brush twice a day. I recently had a change in insurance and needed to switch dentists. I was in so much pain with my back molar I decided it was time to go to the dentist again. I unknowingly showed up on the wrong day and they were perfectly fine with it. They even got me in the chair before my scheduled appointment time. They had to remove my last molar due to bone loss, a fractured root and infection. They also gave me a thorough cleaning. In less than three hours I was out the door for less than $200. Everyone was so nice and professional, this dentist isn’t close to where I live or work anymore but I will definitely be keeping them as my primary dentist.

I just moved to the neighborhood and needed a dentist fast because I was in so much pain from my wisdom teeth- I couldn’t be happier with Dental Pros!! They were so accommodating and reassuring. They knew I was tight on funds and they worked with me. As for the wisdom teeth, it was like they never happened. Everyone always complains that wisdom teeth recovery is weeks. As a new patient and new resident of the Los Angeles area I was extremely impressed with Dr. Shaaf and his staff Esmeralda, Letty and Marisol at Dental Pros locates at 1018 1/2 N Vermont Ave. A warm friendly welcoming office and environment. I felt comfortable as if I have been a patient for years already. Dr. Shaaf is gentle , takes care of your teeth and answers any questions or concerns that you may have. He is efficient and thorough. I needed to get work done and he was honest enough to tell me that it was not necessary but it would be good to take care of it when I could. Being that my smile is important to me I decided to go ahead and take care of it. Even with COVID-19 I was impressed with the cleanliness, upkeep and professionalism of the staff. I felt safe and did not have any concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Shaaf and his staff. And may I add, everyone has a great personality which makes it a fun experience.

Lets start off with saying this place gets A+++++++. Greatest Dentist Experience Ever!!! My teeth are perfect now. Feels very different now but the wait was all worth it. I called Dental Pros after having a horrible experience at a different provider that same morning, but still really needing to see a dentist as a new patient due to a toothache. Dental Pros fit me in two hours after my call. My dentist (I wish I had caught her name! She was from Korea) was amazingly patient and thorough with me. She walked me through pictures showing me exactly what was going on with my teeth, quickly switched cleaning methods when my teeth were being sensitive, and was thorough in her exam- I felt like she took the time to really listen to me and explore the problem. Adolfo was AMAZING. I saw another review on here giving him credit by name and now I know why. He not only tolerated my horrible jokes (dentists make me a little uneasy!) but he was kind, patient, and extremely gentle. I ended up needing to see an endodontist and the lovely secretaries at the front desk offered to give me a referral to one that takes my insurance, but I’m opting to pay the fee to see the one that will be coming to Dental Pros because I thoroughly enjoyed my quality of care there. Thank you for turning my day around after such a bad experience in the morning and providing me with great care and service! I’ll definitely be back.

I went to dental pros with severe tooth pain. I was always scared of dentist in my whole life. The staff were very friendly and nice. The dentist , dr. Naz saw me. During my treatment I felt no pain. She was very professional , nice and caring. She answered all my questions. I’m not scared of dentist any more. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Born in Shiraz, Iran, moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1999. Grew up in Little Rock, moved to Palm Desert, CA in 2009. Studied chemistry at UC Santa Cruz, where I learned how to surf, and then attended USC for dental school. Currently live in Sherman Oaks with my two cats and fiancé, who is also a dentist. As my patient, expect to receive my full attention during the exam and a treatment catered to your needs. During treatment, I will make every effort to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of, no request from you is too ridiculous. My goal is to have you care about your teeth as much as I care about your teeth! At the beginning of the pandemic, a patient came to me with fractured front teeth and extreme pain. His front teeth were close to falling out and he had nowhere to go. Luckily, that same day I was able to fashion a temporary bridge and get him out of pain. In two weeks, we cemented the permanent bridge and he could not stop smiling.
