I’m all about good oral hygiene so a great dentist is important to me. Dr. Capio’s office is legit with Netflix and Beats By Dre headphones so you can drown out those pesky dental tools. I had my teeth cleaned and they feel super duper clean! The office staff is also very nice, which is really important. Dr. Capio explained everything very clearly, was personable, and had good chair side manner. I highly recommend him and his office!

Dr Capio and the entire Dental Solutions staff set the bar so high when it comes to dental providers! I have been a patient since 2014 and I can’t recommend Dr Capio enough! They have always treated me and the other patients like part of the family, so much so, that my husband (who never used to go to the dentist) now goes there regularly as well. They make everything simple and stress-free from the second you make your first appointment. You can choose to receive text/email reminders for your appointments (for those of us who can’t always answer the phone or call back during business hours). The entire staff makes you feel at home from the second you arrive. I’ve never feel rushed or confused by anything. Dr Capio does a great job by listening to any concerns you might have and thoroughly explains everything in detail. If there’s ever a need for additional work, you’re never forced or pressured to go through with anything. They also provide detailed information and optional pricing plans that can help with any decisions or alleviate any stress. It’s extremely refreshing to finally find a dentist that really cares and provides honest recommendations that are never driven by financial gain. I can’t thank Dr Capio and his staff enough for everything they’ve done!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Capio for almost two years now. When I moved to LA I needed to find a new dentist. Throughout my life, I have always hated going to the dentist. Just the simple fact that they poke around in your mouth and the sounds of the drill etc. Anyway, I was referred by a co-worker and am so thankful I followed up with her suggestion. Dr. Capio and staff are so friendly and professional! They have always made me feel comfortable, which is big for me! Dr. Capio and Evelyn always try and be gentle during my visit and always ask if I am ok while I am in the chair. I also love that watching Netflix is an option because it distracts me from the activity being performed in my mouth. Needless to say, I would recommend Dr. Capio to anyone searching for a new dentist or a better dentist.

Just moved here and was looking for a doctor in the area. He’s very nice and professional and seems to genuinely care about my overall oral health and establishing a good patient relationship moving forward. I came in for several visits: for a cleaning and to get a crown after having an emergency root canal elsewhere. The whole procedure wend smoothly and quickly- staff were also very helpful and accommodating when I had to change dates. He’s open on Saturdays which is always a big plus!

So, when I moved to CA, I was nervous about finding a GOOD dentist. There are a lot of hacks in LA. I absolutely loved my dentist back home and have always taken great care of my teeth. Luckily, I found Dr. Capio. His office and staff are warm and inviting and the location is great. He has off street, free parking behind his office, and I’ve never had an issue with an appointment. Dr. Capio actually teaches at UCLA’s Dental School, so that made me gravitate towards him. I’ve been 3 times since moving and they always have gentle hands. They have Netflix and headphones, to distract from the drill and you can watch whatever you want. My boyfriend actually had a chipped front tooth and Dr. Capio was able to fit him in the same day, give him a cleaning, and fix the tooth. He had no pain and his teeth look fantastic. As long as we live in LA, I will definitely be a patient!

After a weekend of excruciating pain, I was so thankful that Dr. Capio was able to see me on Monday. Turns out I needed a wisdom tooth removed. Dr. Capio did a great job! I didn’t feel a thing. He was very informative and explained what needed to be done very clearly. Miki and Jessica at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. Jessica even gave me a new toothbrush to temporarily replace my electric toothbrush for the next week. And she replaced my gauze one more time. I appreciated how Jessica showed me the cost breakdown so I knew how much I would be responsible for. Sonia, Dr. Capio’s assistant, was so nice. She made me feel very comfortable by offering a leg pillow, something to drink, and Netflix w/ headphones to watch the Gilmore Girls. She also showed me where I could park in the back. Awesome people. Felt as “at home” and as comfortable as you can in a dentist office. Really cool they ask you if you want to watch anything on Netflix. If I could give Dr. Capio 10 stars, I would! Cannot say enough great things about him and his team. Been coming here for several years and the last few I’ve been trekking across LA even after I moved to Brentwood. Worth the drive and he has Saturday hours which is a huge plus. He has a lot of great qualities but the most important to me is that I trust him. It’s hard to find a good dentist who doesn’t recommend a lot of expensive treatments not covered by your insurance and that often aren’t necessary. Over the years I’ve found Dr. Capio to be honest about what I do/don’t need and he knows when something is complicated and should be referred. And humble enough to tell me (even after I didn’t want to go elsewhere) that it was in my best interest to seek orthodontic treatment with someone who specializes in complex cases. Even so, he has continued to be involved and plan my treatment with the orthodontist and that has made getting braces at 50+ the best experience it could be.

I meant to do this review for weeks now. Dr. Capio is amazing! He was referred to my by a specialist, he did my cleaning and the most amazing composite bonding I could of ever imaged. My front two teeth had previous old bonding on it (from a different dentist) and it was pretty much falling off and very stained. Dr. Capio cleaned it up and redid it and I can’t stop smiling. Michael Capio, DDS, is a leading dentist serving the families of Marina Del Rey, California, and the surrounding areas. Born and raised in Edison, New Jersey, he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University. His desire to apply his engineering know-how to a health profession led Dr. Capio to attend the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009. In addition to leading his practice, Dental Solutions, Dr. Capio teaches part time as a clinical instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
