After moving to North Dallas from Chicago I had neglected my dental needs for over a year and knew I needed more than a cleaning. Picking a dentist seemed like such an ominous task since I had been with my last doctor for more than a decade and had thought he was the greatest…I even thought of flying back to Chicago so I didn’t have to “risk” a bad experience. Boy, was I glad to find Dr. Azinge and Dental Spa of Texas. I scheduled a cleaning and xrays and figured I would go from there. When I arrived, a young mother was checking out with her two young children. I asked the kids if they saw the dentist and they both said “yes…she is SO nice!” Well, I like “nice” too so I felt buoyed by the kids’ impromptu review. It was so cute. The cleaning was very thorough and included bite wing x rays as well as fluoride treatment. After that, Dr. Azinge sat with me and went over my Xrays to discuss the myriad of issues concerning previous work done over the years. I knew I had some issues but was not aware of how some work had degraded as I had aged (getting older comes at a price..lol). She assured me I was not in any desperate need aside from two minor cavities that did need attention. I asked about Invisalign straightening due to a “crowding” issue with my lower bite. I have lived with it my entire life and recently I have noticed it creates a constant discernable pressure that will not go away. Dr. Azinge assured me this was a correctable condition so I have opted to eliminate this distraction as well. She was very patient in going over what would be involved and I feel very confident this will be a good move for me. The office was able to accommodate my pressing schedule and they got me in with just a few days’ notice for my fillings and impressions for the Invisalign. I have to admit I was anxious about the drillings and fillings but I can honestly say I FELT NOTHING uncomfortable. I didn’t even feel the needle for the numbing after the topical gel went to work. I was astonished! That never happened before in any of my previous dental experiences. I highly recommend Dr. Azinge and Dental Spa of Texas and look forward to moving forward with my Invisalign correction over the next year. If you are looking for a pain free, kid friendly dental provider, you can be confident in scheduling a visit.

She is very professional, personable and is all about family, which I LOVE! Her services are so affordable, her hours of operation makes it even better for us to come in the evening. She goes the extra mile and not nickel and dime you like MOST offices. Her right hand “Woman” LOL! Jill(dental assistant) does an amazing job as well. I visited Dr. Azinge at the Dental Spa in Frisco today. The staff was both friendly and competent … and even as a new patient, they processed me quickly into the dental examination room. After x-rays, Dr. Azinge and her assistant cleaned my teeth thoroughly and explained that although my teeth are in good shape, some old fillings might need some attention in the future. There was no pressure to buy additional services. I experienced a ‘great teeth cleaning’ and I am giving consideration for what I may want to do next, beyond regular dental care. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Rachel and her team make the experience as pleasant as possible. After years of neglecting my teeth, mostly due to the cost involved, the time had come to do something about them. I had dental insurance so I figured it was manageable. But when the insurance company were to pay out less than I expected, I cancelled my appointment because there was no way I could pay for it. Immediately, however, Dr. Rachel herself emailed me with options to help spread the cost, I.e., doing the procedure in stages. My son had a toothache and I noticed it was a huge hole in his tooth. Dr. Azinge was able to see him same day. He is 9 years old and they had to do a big filling on him. It was his first time at her office. She took care of him with the assistance of Joy her assistant and he did not cry or even flinch. Came home out of pain with no more decay and a happy visit. He wants to go back everyday. He tells his sisters how cool his Dentist is and how they need to hurry and see her. They are younger than him. So I will be scheduling the girls this week sometime. If you are looking for a caring, kind, knowledgeable, pain free doctor look no more here she is. My some did not feel nothing and she did not even give him a shot just the jelly to numb the gums. Her staff is amazing and the office is clean and when you walk in the calmness and peace you feel in the office is so overwhelming in a positive way. From the front to the back they know what they are doing. They take Medicaid for adults and kids which is hard to find. They are willing to work with you to help you. Dr Rachel Azinge is the most gentle dentist. She and her staff will help you feel comfortable.They work incredibly well together. Jill is awesome makes you feel very comfortable but she’s also hilarious. You can tell her and Dr Azinge have been working together for years. Dr Azinge is super efficient, she knocked a root canal and fillings on the same side at the same time. I wouldn’t even consider another dentist. Then there’s Marcy in the front office who will go over insurance and cost. She makes sure you have a clear understanding and get the most out of your insurance.
