PATIENT REVIEWS

Check out what some of our happy patients are saying about us:

★★★★★

I have been happily going to Dr. Cornehl for the last couple of years, who has consistently impressed me with his attention to detail, thoroughness, and professionalism.  From my very first cleaning, which he performed himself, I was impressed.  I had never had my actual dentist perform the cleaning themselves–I am only familiar with the dentist coming in for 5 minutes tops, at the end of a typical visit, to swoop in say “hello, your teeth look great (or not), and see ya in 6 months”.  Not the case with Dr. Cornehl.   He took a lot of time on my first visit to check and clean my teeth thoroughly, and to discuss his recommendation for a night guard, due to my teeth grinding.  The procedure for getting the nightguard went smoothly, and he made sure that it fit just perfectly. My favorite story of going to Dr. Cornehl’s (do people even HAVE favorite dentist-stories?) has to do with a partial crown replacement that I had to have done.  I had never had anything that major ever required on my teeth and so I was anxious to say the least.  This was back when they had just moved into their new, cool offices, and I was looking forward to seeing the new space.  It just so happened that my appointment fell on the same day as their grand opening office party, and so Dr. Cornehl invited me to stay for their party after my crown work.  I had my doubts, as I did not think that I would be feeling up for a party, but he kindly insisted.  It was great seeing the new space, which I think is really well-done, modern but not cold at all.  I was prepped for the procedure in a super comfortable leather dental chair, complete with a fantastic eye-level view of Union Square and Sex in the City on DVD (try not to laugh while he’s drilling away!).  Dr. Cornehl was very careful and always checks in with you to make sure that you are not in any pain.  He custom fabricates the new crown in the office, using a 3d computer aided drafting program, which is great, since it saves you from having to get a temporary crown and so you don’t have to come back for a second visit.  I waited awhile while my new crown was  being made in the office, all the while with the buzz of party preparations going on in the background.  In a flash, my new crown was finished and he “installed” it, and we were done!  Then the party started, and that and the yummy vodka gimlets really helped me forget any minor discomfort  I may have had.  The only down side of the experience was that now I long for a party every time I go back to see Dr. Cornehl, but I guess that’s asking a bit much! I really appreciate the integrity and honesty that Dr. Cornehl shows.  I never feel as if he  is “pushing” any unnecessary procedures on me, which I greatly appreciate, especially since I don’t have dental insurance and so I pay 100% out-of-pocket.  (Sometimes going to the dentist can feel like going to a car repair shop, and you just have no idea if the very-expensive “repairs” are really needed or not).  Not the case with Dr. Cornehl, as he explains all options, and does not pressure you into procedures or rush you into decisions. No one really likes having to go to the dentist, but Dr. Cornehl, his attentive staff, courteous and organized Carmen, and their really cool, high-tech offices–all of these things make going to your dentist appointment a much more pleasant experience.  I highly recommend Dr. Cornehl!

★★★★★

I’ve always tolerated the dentist. This is the first time that I Love going to see the dentist. The entire staff here is very friendly and thoughtful about the patients and their needs. I was slightly hesitant to see them during Covid, but after my visit, I feel very safe in the dentist chair. They go beyond any of the recommended health guidelines to ensure we are all kept safe. The same level of care by going above and beyond during this pandemic is what you get out of their health services. They really do everything they can to ensure your mouth is at its healthiest. I feel like when they are treating me, they do the same for me as they would do if they were treating a fellow dentist or their own family. If you need a new dentist, you should stop by and see what you’ve been missing

★★★★★

The best dental experience I have ever had, Dr. Cornehl is the best of the best.  The office is welcoming with an office staff that is responsive and accommodating.  During your visit you will notice the individual attention that Dr. Cornehl and his team provide.  They do not try to up-sell you on unnecessary treatments, however they do give you what is necessary for a healthy smile.  Additionally, Dr. Cornehl provides other services that help to consolidate office visits, he is extremely gentle and you get great results.

★★★★★

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cornehl for 10+ years and he’s by far the best dentist I’ve found in my adult life. The office is impeccably clean and has all the bells and whistles of a modern dentistry practice. The staff behind Dr Cornehl is just as professional and outstanding as he is. Laura has been my hygenist since the beginning and she is the best, bar none. She’s wicked smart, an ace at cleaning teeth and one of the most genuinely wonderful people you will meet. I look forward to going to the dentist partly so we can catch up. She’s the best.  it seems and is always a joy to be around. Both she and Laura are great and are patient with my terrible gag reflex when we have to do X-rays. All around, kudos to the Dental Studio. I moved to the East Bay 7 years ago and still make the journey into the city twice a year for my cleanings, they are 100% worth it. Finding a good dentist isn’t easy and these guys hit every mark for me. I’ll be a patient as long as I live in the Bay Area. Cheers!

★★★★★

Best dentist I have ever been to and I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist. Dr. Cornehl and his whole team (Maria, Laura, Lisa) are always incredibly kind and perfect at their job. Maria is supper attentive (applying lip balm to dry lips); Laura is meticulous at getting every tooth sparkly clean; Lisa always gets you the best time and even gave me a refund when I overpaid; and Dr. Cornehl makes me able to smile with the biggest smile I can now.

★★★★★

I’m incredibly happy with my experience at Dental Studio! The staff is responsive, efficient and super transparent. I’ve had a couple different interactions with them that would have been a nightmare in less competent hands. For example, I was scheduled for a basic service, but my insurance only covers it every 6 months (which I didn’t know). Rather than dragging me in and making me deal with it, they rescheduled it as a courtesy and saved us both a lot of headache. Then I went in for a [different] procedure with Dr. Cornehl. He walked me through the whole process and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. When I made the decision to go, he FULLY. DELIVERED! I left looking and feeling amazing, even with my cheeks still swollen. Lmao. Ultimately, Dr. Cornehl and the staff *exceeded* my expectations, which is pretty rare. If I had one small criticism, I would ask he take more notes because we had to go over some things a couple of times, but that may just be a side effect of exponential growth for the office. At the end of the day, I love the work they’ve done. Even better, I’m completely confident in their ability to take care of me in the future. 5 enthusiastic stars!

★★★★★

Dr. Jarrod Cornehl’s medical office is located in a beautifully designed space on the 4th floor of 260 Stockton Street. Large windows overlooking Union Square accentuate a pleasant dental visit. I was there for my first cleaning after moving to the area and was delighted by the friendly staff and state-of-the-art equipment. Following my cleaning, Dr. Cornehl spent a good amount of time with me to introduce himself and relate his observations of my dental health and ways that I could improve it. He focused on the physical health of my teeth and gums and only made one cosmetic suggestion. His website notes the availability of more cosmetic procedures which is a given considering his well-appointed modern office. I have booked a return visit in 6-months and looks forward to it. C

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cornehl’s for about 6 years.  I live and work downtown so his offices overlooking Union Square are perfect for me.  As dentists offices go, it’s also a very urban, trendy, and tasteful place.  No elevator music either.  They play lounge/Buddha Bar type ambient sounds.  Not that decor and music make the doctor, but it’s a nice change from the dentist offices we all remember as kids. From day one, I’ve never had a billing issue, I’ve never been kept waiting for ridiculous amounts of time, I was always told what was going to happen and they did just that, the staff (from Carmen at the front desk to the hygienists, to Dr. Cornehl himself) have all been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional.  A number of my friends are also patients and I’ve never heard them complain about anything either. Gone are the days of dreading my dentists appointments.  From cleanings to crown repairs, I’ve never had a single complaint about this office.  Part of me doesn’t want to give them a good review because I’d like to keep him a secret, but these are good people and they deserve a successful practice.

★★★★★

Dr. Cornehl and ALL of his staff are the best. They are the only dentist I’ve had since I moved to SF 8 years ago, and I will never switch. The office is super nice, with beautiful views. Their systems for booking, reminders, and keeping your records up to date are efficient. Every hygienist I have had has been really great and done an excellent job, and I see the same ones frequently which is great. They’ve replaced a few fillings for me, and that all went well. Although they like to keep me on top of any issues, they don’t pressure me into anything that can be put off if I want to wait for practical reasons. Their receptionist Lisa is awesome, she always remembers me and is extremely gracious in helping me with any scheduling adjustments, payments etc. Highly recommended.

★★★★★

Get your pearly whites cleaned! The office is located in the heart of Union Square (people watching while getting a check up is AWESOME).  A tad bit hidden, next to Nine West (you can go shopping after your cleaning!)… an upscale, posh dental office WITH TVs to help patients past the time while getting a routine check up!  I personally watched Glee when I got my teeth cleaned by the one and only Laura. Note: a slight bias towards Laura. We were classmates (sort of) in college. I was often the guinea pig in college when my roommate was getting her degree and becoming a R.D.H – so having known Laura beforehand, I knew I was (would be) in good hands! Dr. Cornehl’s pretty awesome too.  He’s incredibly down to earth and treats his patients as more than just ‘another appointment’.   Sometimes I feel like I need to get dressed up just go to see the dentist, as I felt slightly underdressed for my last check up.

★★★★★

I used to like the dentist when I was little.  You could count on getting that bright green dinosaur toothbrush if you were a good boy and didnt have any cavities.  Well, came college, and then came my first cavity, and after then I never really liked the dentist anymore.  It has become a chore that I dread twice a year to use up my insurance. Thankfully this has all changed.  Now that I have Jarrod as my dentist, I think I can ALMOST look forward to going to see the dentist as much as I look forward to seeing my hairstylist.  The office at 260 Stockton is amazing.  It is so efficiently ran (the paperless feature is a BIG selling point) and the assistants and other staff are a delight.  And no fear about the cost of the office going into your co-pay.  As long as you have full insurance, you still dont pay a dime for basic cleaning.  And he even sells new Oral B top of the line electric toothbrushes at cost.  Saved $50 from retail price by getting it through him.  A very nice service for a dentist to offer. Scheduling an appointment is also very easy.  This is the first dentist that allows me to work by email.  I used to hate the dreaded phone tag with my old dentist.  And Carmen, the main office assistant is so awesome.   Dr. Cornehl is really so professional and knowledgeable that you will feel confident every minute he is working on your mouth.  He is realistic about some of the bad habits people have regarding the dreaded flossing, but he makes you WANT to be A+ in dental hygiene.  After my visit with him I was excited to go home and floss just so I would be able to impress him at the next visit. He is good at giving a thorough explanation and even throwing in those fun dental school terms to impress you!   All around my experience with the office of Dr. Cornehl was top notch! I am so soo happy to have found a great dentist in the city!!

★★★★★

Another fabulous Yelp find. Dr. Corhnel, his office, and his staff are worthy of every single star. Unlike most sterile, clinical dentist digs, Dr. Corhnel’s space is beautifully decorated, modern but sparse; allaying the subtle anxiety I usually feel when visiting the dentist. The equipment is ultra modern and state-of-the art (from the digital “paperwork” processing,  x-ray machines, and general methodology), designed with optimum thoroughness and comfort in mind. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience having such unpleasant things being done to my mouth before. I also love that prior to your appointment, they’ll calculate for you exactly how much your insurance will cover and what your paid responsibility will be, rather than having it be a surprise after the fact. Dr. Cornehl himself has an amazing bedside manner. He’s calm, gentle, explains what he’s doing and why, and extremely professional. He had many opportunites to “sell” me needless procedures/products, but never once tried to. His staff is also friendly and open, contributing to the overall positive experience. After experiencing a dentist of his caliber, I absolutely would never consider any less.

★★★★★

I found Dr. Cornehl by doing a web search for dentists who were in my plan.  I found his website and thought it was an inviting environment.  Also, the pictures of him and his staff were great.  I liked the fact that it was a personal approach to dentistry.  These helped me make the phone call. My entire experience from initial phone call to appointment was great.  The office is beautiful, and the equipment is amazing.  I loved the fact that everything was computerized (even the forms you fill out are an a PC tablet).  I felt like the entire concept put the patient at the center.  I loved my experience and would recommend Dr. Cornehl to ANYONE!!!!

★★★★★

I really like Dr. Cornehl and his staff. When I found them, I had high expectations because I had been visiting my family’s dentist for 26 years and I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to find someone as good as my old dentist. Dr. Cornehl and team very pleasantly surprised me and now I am vey happy to be their patient. I’m particularly fond of the following items – Their staff is all top notch in expertise, very friendly, and very efficient. This includes all persons in the office (Dr. Cornehl, Front Desk, Assistants, etc..) – Their scheduling & billing system (and reminders) are impressive. I get emails with click to confirm buttons, or with reminders, and billing info. It feels very high-tech, is very easy, and is very convenient – The office is up-to date and very high-tech – The location is very nice, right in Union Square – After about 3-4 years of visiting, I can say that they have met my high expectations for a dentist and even surpassed them Great work Dr. Cornehl and team!

★★★★★

Never have had a better dental experience. From the front desk (Carmen) to the techs (Maria & the lovely ladies who clean my teeth) to Dr. Cornehl himself. I have always been fearful of going to the dentist and for the first time EVER I’m comfortable and confident when I have an appointment with Dr. Cornehl. Dr. Cornehl’s chair side manner is impeccable. My husband & I began going to Dr. Cornehl when we lived in the city. We now live in the peninsula (San Carlos) and I’m more than happy to  endure the commute in order to stay with Dr. Cornehl and staff. Noting but positive feedback!

★★★★★

I was recommended to Dr. Cornehl’s office by many of my co-workers when I moved here and have had a great experience every time. Very personable, helpful, and surprisingly comfortable for a dentist’s office and staff. The view overlooking the palm trees of Union Square as you have your teeth cleaned is pretty hard to beat. Everything highly recommended. The email and text reminders before each appointment are very helpful too – more communication from a provider is always better, and I find this a very useful service which I had not seen before from a dentist or doctor. I would say the only minor drawback (which my friends have mentioned as well) is you get sold pretty hard on some very expensive ($100+) electric toothbrushes and other items with little evidence that these are worth the investment (over a manual or even a less expensive $20 electric). I 100% trust their professional judgment (which is the #1 important thing in any medical/dental provider) but I find it hard to believe that a $100 toothbrush is that much better than the free or cheaper alternatives. If this is truly the case I’d like to see studies to back it up before I am asked to spend that much. That said, any investment in prevention would pay back tenfold (money, time, and emotion) when compared to treatment, so I have an open mind. For me that is truly the only drawback (very minor) and I only mention it so that it is a fully honest review. Other than that everything has been perfect – definitely 5 stars.

★★★★★

I usually wait a couple of visits before writing a review for any medical/dental office, to make sure my great experience wasn’t just a one time fluke thing. I have been visiting Dr. Cornehl for the last year and half, and every visit has been great: Friendly front office staff, will send you an electronic reminder prior to your visit to confirm. No issues with billing or insurance (unlike some of the other reviewers here, who appear to have not checked their coverage before going in for a visit) Great dental hygenists who know what they are doing (i.e. don’t rip your mouth to shreds during the cleaning process, unlike some of the others dentist offices I have visited) Dr. Cornehl always takes the time to make sure everything is in order, and will explain in detail any issues to look out for without pushing any un-necessary procedures. He also knows his craft – the one time I did need an old filling replaced because it was cracking, it was a no fuss procedure, with no pain Also it is a small thing, but you do get to veg out and watch hulu while they scrape away at the insides of your mouth, which makes the visit fly by.

★★★★★

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cornehl now for over 10 years. The entire office is very good at what they do. They always have the latest technology and Dr. C is very conservative/thoughtful about his recommendations. They also clean your teeth perfectly! I’ve been dealing with TMJ for years and never thought there was a solution outside of a mouthguard. Even then, headaches still happen and you just deal with it. Dr. C mentioned botox as a helpful and useful solution. My friend told me about it and I was a bit nervous and scared, but once Dr. Cornehl explained how long it’s been around and how effective it can be, I went for it. After a couple weeks of the injections, I noticed a HUGE improvement. Life changing. I no longer felt the tension in my neck or my head or jaw in the morning. I also was more aware of how much I used to clench my teeth and keep stress in my jaw muscles. Overall, would recommend this process to anyone looking for relief. It sounds crazy – botox for TMJ, but it works!

★★★★★

I rarely ever write reviews–particularly for dentists–but I wanted to make sure I shared the really positive experience I’ve had with Dr. Cornehl and his team. My first appointment was actually kind of unplanned. I had accidentally chipped a tooth and my dentist at the time was out of town. I had been referred to Dr. Cornehl by a friend who raved about him. So I called his office, and was able to make a last-minute appointment. From the first moment there, I felt like I had made the right choice. Although he had never seen or met me before, Dr. Cornehl spent a good deal of time making sure the repaired tooth looked and felt perfect. As you can probably guess, I never went back to my previous dentist. Unlike any of the previous dentists I have ever had, Dr. Cornehl is so friendly, approachable and committed to making sure you feel comfortable. He takes the time to explain everything he’s doing, and answers any questions at length. He’s far from “sales-y” and I never feel like I’m being rushed or that his mind is on another patient in the other room. This extends to his staff as well, who are all focused on making me feel like their number one priority. Aside from his personal attention, Dr. Cornehl’s office is also one of the most modern and inviting. Everything is done digitally, from the paperwork on your first visit to the xrays and other technology they use when you’re being worked on–which just adds to the whole experience being so clean, streamlined, accurate and efficient. Plus, they have video screens at each chair to make sure you are entertained when needed! Last, but certainly not least, my teeth are looking and feeling great–and I’m looking forward to keeping them in that shape with Dr. Cornehl’s help!

★★★★★

I just recently had the pleasure of having work done by Dr. Cornehl.  I was amazed at how his office offered all the latest dental technology.  I felt right at home as soon as I walked through the door.  The environment perfectly complements Dr. Cornehl and his staff’s professionalism and patient-focused attitude.  Dr. Cornehl and his staff are wonderful–and my teeth have never looked better. Most people are hesitant when it comes to going to the dentist.  I can tell you this—this is the place to have all your dental care!   I highly, highly recommend Dr. Jarrod Cornehl.

★★★★★

My experiences  Dr. Cornehl have been nothing but wonderful. Both are caring, knowledgeable dentists who are passionate about their work, and ensuring that patients have a great experience, and even better results. I’ve unfortunately dealt with a lot of tension headaches recently due to jaw clenching and teeth grinding, and Dr. Cornehl did a really through examination to suggest the best way to move forward. He ended up using therapeutic botox in my jaw and neck. It’s been a little over a month, and I’ve noticed a really big difference — I’m not clenching my jaw, and my headaches are gone. I’m so grateful for his help. Dr. Fredrickson also always goes out of his way to spend time explaining what he’s doing. The entire office staff is fantastic as well- communicative, kind, and fun! The office is beautiful, and high tech- watching Netflix during my cleanings is a nice touch.

★★★★★

Received great treatment for TMJ Botox and follow-ups. Staff are friendly, offices are clean/modern, and treatment was effective. Botox may not be a long-term treatment for TMJ for some people, but is worth at least a try for temporary relief/reset and some time off pain meds. It definitely helped control my migraines and pain, and I’m really glad I saw Dr. Cornehl. He’s super nice and made the treatment a breeze – I hate needles and was pretty nervous about any aesthetic implications (like not being able to smile, etc.). No negative side effects and you can’t visually see anything post-treatment. Also, there was a 2 week follow-up with some additional trigger point therapy that helped a lot too! Some may find treatment expensive (not covered by insurance), but honestly if you are suffering, so worth the pain relief!

★★★★★

Who hates the dentist!? Not this guy! I have been terrified of visiting the dentist since a kid – Dr. Cornehl and Dr. Fredrickson and their incredible staff makes showing up to their office a walk in Golden Gate park. I’m so thankful to have found their practice, allowing me to take back my ownership of dental hygiene! – It was that easy! Dr. Cornehl is also a wonder in the field of Aesthetics and have been trusting him with my facial aesthetics ever since the first procedure.  Dental Studio SF is a one-stop-shop of INCREDIBLE! Couldn’t be happier and I’m referring all of my friends to their practice and now I’m referring all of you wonderful Internet people 🙂 Cheers to a life of healthy teeth and flawless facial aesthetics!

★★★★★

Dr. Cornehl and his team is amazing. The new hygienist, Flavia, is great! I previously had Laura who is equally thorough and informative. They only care about your dental health and do not up-sell you, but inform you of the best treatment plan for your issues. The decision is up to you.  I highly recommend this practice. Not to mention, the location is prime!

★★★★★

I came in for a long term problem my other dentist has not been able to solve- TMD !! The crackling, popping painful jaw, the headaches, neck aches and  ear problems.I had botox injections, and I can state that other dentists  ( and staff ) and even other cosmetic injectors don’t come close to the clear, unrushed explanations (with digital pictures of my crazy uneven mouth) and his obvious knowledge of anatomy and facial structure that goes beyond dentistry. I was not promised instant relief, in fact, Dr. Cornehl said it might take up to 2 weeks to get relief. But , I slept all night, woke up rested for the first time in 8 months, and felt like my happy self all day . Yes, the office staff were fantastic, the office is spotless and beautiful. I am planning to work with him for  a long time!!

★★★★★

Dr. Cornehl and his staff are the best and make the trip to the dentist as enjoyable as possible. I’ve been a patient since 2005 and can say that you definitely get what you pay for here! The office staff is helpful, proactive in booking and confirming appointments and handling all insurance claims.  Dr. Cornehl is as gentle as can be, has a plan, isn’t overly aggressive but doesn’t ignore potential trouble spots. The icing on the cake is watching a show while they work on your teeth. Again, making the trip it as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend.

★★★★★

I’ve been going to Dental Studio to see Dr. Cornehl for 4 years, and my husband has been going for even longer.  We love Dental Studio because: – The location – super central and easy to get to- The ambiance – Clean, slick, modern, bright, airy studio – The people!! – We love Lisa at the front desk.  She knows the patients by name, is very professional and personable, and is super efficient and always confirms your appointment well in advance.   Also, all the hygienists are great, but I usually get Laura and she is so good at what she does.  She clearly loves her job, has a great attitude and is an absolute professional. – The technology – All photos are digital and you get to see what’s going on in your mouth if you want.  You can see before/after of your own dental progression.  Also – if you want to, you can pick your own Hulu (or Netflix) show to watch while you get your teeth cleaned.     – The efficiency – Appointments always start bang on time and are efficient.  You get top notch care, but there’s no time wasted on either end. – Dr. Cornehl – Great guy, lovely demeanor.  Attentive in answering any questions. Dental Studio makes my 2x/year cleaning a pleasure!  Thanks y’all!

★★★★★

Dr. Cornehl is by far the best dentist I have ever had.  He detected that my previous crowns and root canals were done incorrectly and incompletely by my former dentist.   I’m grateful that he caught these problems before they got worse.   He always takes his time to explain the procedures and answer any questions, unlike my previous dentists.  He really listens! His staff, Lisa at reception and Lauren his hygienist, are fantastic and provide the best customer service.   Slightly pricey but worth every penny.  I trust that every procedure he did will last a lifetime and Dr. Cornehl will keep my teeth healthy and clean.

★★★★★

I have been to a handful of horrible dentists in the past where they were rude, hasty and rough with my teeth/gums. I have been accidentally cut many times and painfully suctioned when the assistant’s hands have slipped. With all of these traumatizing experiences visiting the dentist’s office, I have developed an intense fear of all dentists. Just the smell of the office makes my stomach tighten and palms sweat. With all of this said, after meeting Dr. Cornehl almost two years ago for a checkup, I LOVE going to the dentist now! Every single person in that office is incredibly friendly, caring and patient, especially Dr. Cornehl and Lisa at the front desk. They answer all of my questions and tell me what they are doing while working on my mouth. That was one thing I noticed that none of my previous dentists did, and it’s a really effective way of calming down a nervous patient: letting patients know every step they are taking since we can’t see what’s going on. The office is beautifully decorated, modern and located right across from Union Square. They are also technologically-savvy. You fill out paperwork on a tablet, and they email/text you appointment reminders. While you get your teeth cleaned, they have a monitor and headphones for you to watch shows on Hulu and other websites. Makes getting my teeth cleaned even more enjoyable! They also use the monitors to show you your x-rays and other images while they explain what’s going on and answer any questions. Very informative and helpful doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Cornehl and his office for anyone who needs a dentist in SF!

★★★★★

Look, I *hate* going to the dentist, but finally I found one that my insurance takes AND was a pretty great (for the dentist) experience. So here’s my recommendation! I was able to book my appointment over email, which I always love. Dr. Cornhel’s office is perfectly gorgeous, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows facing a view of Union Square great for people-watching, and the staff are out of CONTROL friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Cornehl himself is really sweet and I thought the x-ray/exam was informed and thorough! (I love looking at my own x-rays.) and though it was hard to decide between Golden Girls and Ab Fab, you gotta go with Patsy), and I think that’s an excellent distracting device. Good thing, since she scrapped MOUNTAINS out of my mouth (it’s been a few years). End result, though, is that my teeth look and feel great! They did their best to do it all now so I wouldn’t have to come back for deeper cleanings, and didn’t try to up-sell anything. Great work, everyone! A++ all around.

★★★★★

I LOOOOOVE Dr. Cornehl. Carmen too. Not only is the office sleek, the prices are reasonable, location is convienient (I can do a little shopie shopie after I am done getting drilled on) and the doc is really knowlegeable. I know, I know, you are probably saying to yourself, “yeah, but I only want to go to a place that has hot hygenists to do my cleanings,” but let me tell you, Dr. Cornehl is so gentle, it will make all the difference to your mouth- especially if going to the dentist is not your thing. Besides the hackneyed free toothbrush and dental floss, you also get to watch movies while you are being worked on. I opt to watch episodes of “Sex in the City” but there are numerous options. Or, if you don’t feel like watching anything, the view right on to Union Square is great. Now, get yourself to the dentist immediately!

★★★★★

Let me start out by saying that i HATE going to the dentist; i always have. The feel of the instruments against my teeth makes me want to scream. Having said that, i decided to give Dr Cornehl a shot after leaving my East Bay dentist for one closer to home. Jarrod was not only pleasant and thoughtful about my fear, he actually helped take that fear away, completely. Having gone to him for a couple years now, i can honestly say that i no longer dread going to the dentist. It no longer instills fear and makes me sweat walking up to the chair. ; Jarrod is, without a doubt, the best dentist i’ve ever been to, and i can’t imagine ever going anywhere else. And none of that is even mentioning the beautiful office, friendly staff, and movies you get to watch while sitting in the chair. Simply put, i highly recommend Dr Jarrod C Cornehl. Period.

I love Dr. Cornehl and his staff! I’ve been coming for the past 2 years and will stick with them as long as I can! Lisa always remembers me and is accommodating for scheduling. The location is excellent, you get a great view and you get to watch hulu plus while you get your teeth cleaned! My teeth have never felt so clean. The entire staff is great about answering questions, making you feel comfortable and letting you know what’s going on in your mouth. The offices are clean and modern and the services and staff are beyond reproach. PLUS Dr. Cornehl’s teeth are PERFECT and give you something to aspire to.

I want to say that I never write reviews or take surveys so for me to do this at all is a big testament to Dr. Cornehl and his team. I walked into his office based on his advertisements in local San Francisco papers back in 2005 (when folks still read the newspapers and neighborhood sheets). I had put off a lot of dental work in grad school and my post grad working years. With some stability, I decided to have these things fixed and I decided to have some cosmetic stuff done because medicine I received as  a child had discolored my teeth. Dr. Cornehl has done a magnificent job. The ultimate testimonial? People who really knew me used to feel comfortable saying, “your teeth are really yellow, what happened to you?” Now people who don’t know me at all (like desk clerks at better hotels), stop me and say, “You have a beautiful smile, is that natural? I am thinking about having cosmetic dentistry and would love to know if you’ve had something done and who you used because your teeth look great!” Now, isn’t that exactly what you would want to have happen? Dr. Cornehl’s office is the most technologically advanced office I have ever been in (and the most pleasant). His entire staff is a joy to work with. He has a great interactive manner and explains what his findings are, what the steps he’d like to take will be and how things are progressing. We did a lot of work together and now, I can say I have the best set of teeth I could have ever hoped for. Now, granted dental work can be expensive. It is, no matter whom you use. Why not make sure you are using a dentist who can truly get you to exactly where you want to be when you are finished. Dr. Cornehl will not disappoint. He has my highest recommendation. You can’t go wrong if you chose him. In fact, you are going to have a relationship with the person who is going to work on your mouth over the coming months, why not make that relationship with someone who cares about your input, goals and concerns. Go to Dr. Cornehl. You will be 100% happy…and I have a reputation of being hard to please!!

Dr. Cornehl and his staff are fantastic. After 31 years of no cavities, I finally got a couple and was terrified of having my teeth drilled. Dr. Cornehl and his team took really good care of me and I made it through like a champ. All of my appointments for cleanings, exams, fillings and retainer fittings have all be perfectly on time. Quick and easy. The office is a very relaxing and enjoyable space. A warm greeting when you walk in and a Pellegrino is a good start to any appointment, let alone a dentist appointment. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everyone has been really nice, friendly, competent and careful. The office is meticulously maintained and clean, and one of the most technologically advanced medical offices I’ve seen. If there was a complaint, it would be that when I’m in for my cleanings they don’t take long enough (so I don’t get to get through an entire episode of Glee on the flat screen they let you watch while you’re having your cleaning).
