Going through and finding the best fit dentist for me was easy now that I live close to a major city. The staff was very hospitable and genuine. My dental hygienist Shay had me talking/laughing the entire time. I was in and out in less than an hour as a new patient with a 6 month cleaning. Dr. McLin was great and if you have any extra concerns about your smile she first investigates your current smile then gives further direction from there. This is the first time I’ve felt totally comfortable at the dentist. 10/10 highly recommend.

I’m very pleased with Dr. McLin and the entire staff at Dental Wellness Center. I didn’t wait long to be seen, the office is clean and relaxing, and Dr. McLin was kind and thorough. This was my first visit to the office after being with my previous dentist for 20 years. After my dentist’s sudden death, I was forced to find a new office but I’m so happy I’ve landed with Dr. McLin. I can see myself at this office for the next 20+ years.

I moved to Birmingham from Washington about 6 years ago. I would only go to the dentist when I went home yearly, but I figured it was time for me to find a dentist here. I called DWC and I explained that I was in pain and needed to be seen as soon as they could. They were able to get me in the same day. I was VERY IMPRESSED with the office and staff. 1st time visit. Referral. From the moment my mom and I opened the doors to this dentistry, we knew it was going to be A+. The receptionist to the dental hygienist to the Dentist were all friendly with genuine smiles. Dr. McLin is very welcoming and patient with her patients. She is smart and detailed. I am usually a dentist wanderer just going to whoever is available at the time of my travels back to America however Dr. Mclin has made such an beautiful impression on me that ends today! The warm welcoming, professional service, and overall experience I received from DWC today has earned a continuing patient. DWC the location has great views, perfect location, free parking and I didn’t spend all day waiting for anyone to service me, I didn’t feel rushed out the office nor did I experience any pain. Finally I’ve found a primary dentist who handles it all from cleanings to surgical extractions!
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. McLin, a native of Birmingham, became fascinated with dentistry during her first visit to the dentist at the age of five. She knew immediately that dentistry would be her career path. Dr. McLin attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology while minoring in chemistry. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she earned her doctorate of dental medicine from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry where she was actively involved in the Student National Dental Association and numerous community service initiatives. Upon completion of her dental coursework, Dr. McLin has served the Birmingham community in the corporate and public health sector. Dr. McLin’s treatment philosophy entails comprehensive dental care with a gentle touch. She understands that each mouth is unique and requires an individualized plan. Dentistry is more than a career, but her passion. In her free time, Dr. McLin loves to travel, to explore new restaurants, and to be of service to her community.
