Found Dr Patel about 2 years ago when we needed a dentist in the neighborhood. He had just started the practice and was doing it all. He now has a very good assistant who handles the appointments and is a great addition to the office. Dr Patel isn’t going to try to encourage you to get treatments that you don’t need. He does excellent work at a fair price. Plus he’s a very nice man.

I am a new patient of Dr. Patel and can’t say enough positive things. My cleaning was phenomenal. His staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. The office is extremely clean (which is even more important during Covid!). I highly recommend Dr. Patel at Denteek if you are looking for a new dentist!

I was so nervous to go to the dentist after not being able to go in a while but when I came I was greeted by a smile and I just felt better.  The office is very nice, modern, and clean.  It’s pretty cool the place is very into technology from the ipad sign in to the advanced xray machine.  Dr. Patel is very nice and professional.  He made me feel much more comfortable and not afraid.  He explained everything and answered all my questions.  I’m a bit of worrier and ask tons of questions but he answered them all with patience.  I definitely will make this my permanent dental office.

I had never been to Dr. Patel before and I can tell you it was an excellent decision on my behalf to visit Denteek. I live in northern liberties and have walked by the office, on 2nd and brown street, more than a dozen times and always noticed how modern it looks. There is amazing art work and its extremely clean. Dr. Patel has all the trimmings. Brand new equipment, ridiculously comfortable chairs, a camera connected to one of his tools that shows you exactly what he is looking at on a flat screen tv mounted right before you. Dr. Patel plays the tv while he is working. Its so relaxing in the chair I nearly fell asleep. After a much needed cleaning and having a cavity filled, I was almost upset to not finish the show I was watching. Dr Patel takes all the “fear” out of going to the dentist. I immediately booked a appointment for a follow up. I have found a dentist that I trust and know has my best interest in mind. Thank you Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel and team are simply wonderful. To say I avoid and loathe the dentist is an understatement. I have not had a lot of luck in the dentist department but with a strong recommendation I decided to visit. Dr. Patel and team took their time with me and truly make me feel at ease (even reminding me to breathe). They will take the time to explain what is/what will happen. Their office is by far the coolest, least intimidating, most high tech dentist office I’ve ever stepped foot in. No odd smells, no scary drilling sounds… just a lovely modern vibe with lots of natural light (and good music).

dr. patel really took his time cleaning my chompers; would definitely recommend anyone who needs a tooth shine look at this practice. in addition to being very environmentally conscious, patel used advanced technology to project my teeth on a screen, displaying their health with x-rays & calcium-detecting technology while I lounged comfortably on the waterless dental chair.

My best dentist experience so far (and I’ve had A LOT). Ultra modern equipment, friendly staff and Dr Patel is super competent. Even the background music is nice. I actually look forward to my next cleaning. I find myself laughing actually recommending a dentist, but honestly, not only was it a good dental experience, it was a good experience altogether.

They are great!! The doctor is friendly and staff is super cool. He really cares for his patients, I haven’t seen him in six months and he remembered what I was going to school for. I thought that was pretty cool. Some Dr’s don’t care they just want you in and out. We’ll not here make yourself feel like home.

Awesome experience at Denteek! I had a pressing need to get work done quickly and Dr. Patel was very accommodating in my urgency. His focus on using the latest dental equipment and techniques was apparent throughout my entire appointment. The equipment and process of getting my xrays done was very cool. You immediately see the images and are walked through your areas of need. My procedure was painless and I was comfortable throughout my entire time in the chair. The facility is really great as well. Very modern aesthetically, and I was able to fill out all my information on an iPad. If you’re looking for a dentist that does away with the discomfort and coldness of most medical facilites, Denteek is the place for you!

The Best! Before I found Dr. Patel I was terrified of the dentist.  Just the sight of that scrape-y tool made me want to run away!  Dr. Patel has the most technologically advanced tools so you don’t feel one bit of pain! The office is very hip and fun, immaculately clean and there are TV’s in every room to distract you while he goes to work on your teeth!  The entire staff is incredibly nice, helpful and well informed!  By far the best dentist I’ve ever seen and one of the best in Philly for sure!

Went to see Dr. Patel to get a second opinion after being told i had multiple cavities from another dentist. Office was clean, modern, and inviting. Dr. Patel showed me everything going on with my teeth – he had this cool camera that was connected to the TV in front of me. After a thorough exam, he diagnosed me with no cavities. I was really impressed with the technology, and Dr. Patel’s knowledge and professionalism. I ending up getting an implant here and I am really happy with the quality of work. I highly recommend this dental office in the Northern Liberties.

I was drawn in by how great it looked. The artwork, design of the building, and layout are very welcoming. It was one of the best decisions I could have made. His equipment is state of the art. His professionalism is second to none. The experience from start to finish was excellent. I was so impressed by the tools that he had I can not wait to return. Dr Neil Patel is absolutely awesome. After having countless disappointing and most of the times painful experiences, Denteek was an amazing find. The facilities are great, he is extremely flexible with your schedule and always a pleasure to speak with. Whether or not your dentist is good, I highly recommend coming to Neil and experiencing the service first hand!

My teeth have never been cleaned so thoroughly! In the past, hygienists would routinely rush through my cleanings. But, Dr. Patel took his time and meticulously obliterated every last bit of crap in and around my teeth and gums, all without any discomfort from my usually sensitive teeth. Dr. Patel is super nice and an all around cool guy. He took the time to answer any questions I had, and even explained how various tools worked. The office and rooms are beautiful- clean & modern with awesome wall art. I mean, you really can’t go wrong when you’re greeted by some Moz pop art at your dentist’s office. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Denteek is a great choice especially if you live in or near Fishtown, Northern Liberties or Old City in Philadelphia! Great service & equipment! Was at another dentist who told me I had 6 cavities after having had none my whole life. Went to Dr Patel and he confirmed that I had none and my teeth were in perfect health and that basically the other place was just trying to make money off of me— sad. Went to him ever since and really had a wonderful experience I highly recommend.

Just had my first visit at Denteek. I am super anxious about the dentist, and have put off going for a long time. Dr. Patel made me feel very comfortable and explained everything he was doing to put me at ease. This was my first tooth cleaning ever that didn’t hurt at all!!! The office is also very beautiful and in a great location. As an extra bonus Dr. Patel was going to look up whether something was covered by my insurance for me, which is beyond what should be expected. So nice! I was also super impressed that there was zero wait time. That really helped with my anxiety. I actually won’t be nervous at all to return! Great business! Highly recommend.

This was the first time I went to the dentist and didn’t even feel the needle. Dr. Patel was very gentle and took care of all my cavities in a timely manner. I didn’t have to wait as I was seated immediately in the most comfortable dental chair I’ve every been on. I caught up on Girls – he has an Apple TV with HBO Go (and Netflix) as he worked on my fillings. He then showed me the work he did using a live camera in my mouth that displayed on the TV in front of me. I’ve had no problems since. Looks like I’ve found the right dental office in the Northern Liberties

Neil and the staff at Denteek have been great! They have gone above and beyond to help me address my concerns and dental needs. It’s great to have a small private office so close to everything and still have a personal feel when you walk in. Thank you for making dentist visits not feel like a turn & burn visit like so many other places do.

Best care ever! Dr. Patel knew my name before I arrived. I felt comfortable in his care. He also greeted me with a warm welcome. We have created a system for my wellness. The cleaning was so detailed, more detailed than I ever received. It was like he really cared. Actually he did. Also it’s clean and state of the art technology is super cool. You can see the whole experience and view everything that he’s doing. Step by step: I enjoyed everything about Denteek. I will be one of his loyal patients forever.

Dr. Patel is very professional, easy to work with and did a great job on my teeth.  He has all the latest technologies like in seat X-ray and I love the fact I can watch my favorite show while he works on my teeth.  The best part is he is easy going and not like one of those stuffy dentist offices with crazy rules, endless paper work and long wait times.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and the receptionist is friendly as well, Dr. Patel is a great dentist and has help me out tremendously from the first time I came to his office. I can’t lie- I HATE going to the the dentist and never write reviews on Yelp. However, I had such a positive experience at Denteek, I had to give this place props! I had a very large filling that had been patched in the past break again, and I put it off for over a year. From the super easy x-rays and ‘new type of local anesthetic’ to the quality re-do of the entire filling with professional explanation, it was the most comfortable dentist experience I’ve ever had…physically and mentally. Dr. Patel really took care of me. Love the artwork and music too. Thanks again!

If you’re looking for a new dentist look no further ! Dr Patel does a fantastic job of providing an excellent experience and trustworthiness. His office is clean , professional and offers the latest and greatest technology coupled with fantastic service. His Technitian Lauren always does the best job with my cleaning and is very thorough. Extremely satisfied with Denteek !

Friendly dentist office. Their tooth brushing systems sucks out all your saliva and it sucks out your back wash from the mouth wash. Not sure why but I was digging it… maybe because it felt super high tech/futuristic. Granted I’m comparing this to my old childhood dentist so not sure this is relevant but I digress. The only annoying thing was it seemed slightly difficult to reach them over the phone. I had to call back several times for someone to answer. But once they did it was easy from there.

Excellent experience! I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 5 years before before seeing Dr. Patel, so I was dreading the visit. a) He didn’t make me feel bad about it and b) He is up to date on dental technology, which resulted in minor pain and very little discomfort. Plus, I was able to watch TV while I had my fillings replaced, which made it a little better. I’m telling everyone I know about this place!

I went to a dentist for a very small chip in my front tooth and she shaved half of it down to tried to fix it and added cement and tried to shape it. First it was shorter than the other, then she redid it and it was longer. Also rough in texture and just looked totally different. It was a total nightmare. I eventually left very unhappy and called Denteek because they were cosmetic dentists right down the street from me. The Dr brought me in and not only did he fix it beautifully, he did it free of charge because my insurance would not cover the same procedure twice. If you are in the city and still driving to the burbs to go to your trusted dentist, stop. Go to Denteek.

Very friendly and helpful front desk who walked me through my insurance crisis, which can be so frustrating, even more so when you have a 3 year old hanging on your arm. They accurately diagnosed an issue I have been trying for two years to fix with another dentist. There are TVs to entertain/distract, which made taking my toddler with me far easier. The atmosphere is modern and very clean, but still warm and happy. The high tech tooth cleaning left me pain free and feeling super smooth. After one visit, Neal(Dr Patel) is my new best friend. Easy to talk to, fun to joke with and didn’t make me pay for my stubborn, shy3 yr old who wouldn’t get into his chair.  She’s a stinker and he was so patient with her. I enjoyed this trip to the dentist, and I actually can’t wait to go back to get my mouthguard. How weird is that?!?!

I’m really happy with my first visit to Denteek and Dr. Patel. I appreciated the professional and thorough evaluation and cleaning. I’ve had experiences in the past where the hygenists pushed certain procedures and it was nice to have everything provided by Dr. Patel. He answered all my questions thoroughly. I felt very comfortable and am happy I selected this practice. The front desk staff was also very professional.

Went in for a cleaning and x-rays. X-rays were the easiest I’ve ever experienced and the cleaning was very thorough. He was able to remove a weird coating a previous dentist applied and also gave good recommendations for maintenance. The appointment was easy to schedule and changing appointment times was easy.

Dr. Patel’s office is like stepping into a lovely, benevolent spaceship.  I immediately felt at ease- the staff are calm and polite. Dr. Patel himself is friendly, patient and kind.  The technology in this office is lightyears ahead of any dentist I have been to for my entire life. I was really impressed during my first visit but waited for my 2nd appointment to make a review.  I have to say that I’m excited to finally find a dentist that I love.  It’s weird but I kind of look forward to my next appointment (and that’s sooooo not me).  BEST. DENTIST. EVER.
