Dr. Jin and his staff have been nothing short of wonderful every time I have had an appointment.  They fit me in quickly when I had a dental emergency back in May.  They have been kind and honest and good-natured despite my having neglected my dental health for ages.  The office is spotless and they’re great about observing healthy COVID protocols.  Highly recommended!

I have been treated by a handful of dentists and the team at Dentex is by far the nicest. They are understanding and forthcoming about pricing and procedures while stressing the importance of keeping your teeth and gums healthy. The twice a year cleaning exams will have you (more than likely) out in less than an hour. The space is clean and there is plenty of parking in the neighborhood. If you’re looking for an honest, kind, and fully equipped team, well, you’re looking at them.

I’ve been going to Dr. Jin for the past two years now and I’m so excited that he’s opened up his own practice. The office is clean and furnished with the most up to date technology. The staff are super friendly and what I love most is that I don’t walk away feeling like someone drilled into my mouth. All my visits have been relatively pain free and I’m always able to get what I need done, allowing me to leave with clean and healthy teeth. You only get one set, treat em right. 😉

I was a new patient, who needed a bi-annual teeth cleaning. When I arrived, the door was locked (COVID precaution) and the receptionist immediately opened the door. She took my temperature and asked me a series of appropriate COVID screening questions. The facility is beautiful, modern, spotless and CLEAN. The dental assistant (I am so sorry, I don’t remember your name, but you were so wonderful!) took me to the patient room and went over my paperwork/medical history in detail. She took a series of x-ray and ensured they were clear images. The entire team was professional, courteous and worked seamlessly to ensure I had a great experience! Dr. Jin and the dental assistant frequently checked in to ensure I was comfortable during the X-ray and cleaning process, which I appreciate. Dr. Jin, Edna and the dental assistant took the time to listen to my goals and customized a plan (with options) to fit my lifestyle and budget, while setting realistic expectations. I didn’t feel pressured but we’ll-educated by the Dr. Jin and his team. They are conveniently located in Pasadena and very reasonably priced! I felt SAFE during my entire visit and can’t wait to whiten and straighten my teeth! So fortunate to have found Dr. Jin and his medical team!

First impressions: the office was gorgeous. Everything in here was clean, welcoming, and well designed. There’s beautiful art on the walls (made by Dr. Jin himself) and even comfy recliners in the waiting area! The staff was super warm and friendly and the check-in process was easy. The procedures: I’ve been in here for two cleanings and two fillings. The cleanings are great, nothing to complain about (except my flossing habits). My two fillings were PERFECT. I’ve had nearly all of my baby teeth pulled as a kid so I’m no stranger to getting jabbed in the gums over and over, and I usually grin and bear it. But here, Dr. Jin was INCREDIBLY good. He was consistently checking up on me and asking if I was okay or in pain, but I didn’t feel a thing – my anticipation was definitely 10x worse than anything I actually felt. Even during the procedures Dr. Jin was always polite, even thanking me every time he told me to turn towards him and I complied (it’s true, he couldn’t have done it without me). My most recent procedure was last week on a huge old metal filling on one of my back teeth. First, Dr. Jin noticed a crack in it during my cleaning and talked me through all the ins and outs of fixing it (I’m naturally curious and he put up with all my questions) and even went so far as to take and show me pictures of it. Second, my old dentist had tried and tried to put a composite filling in but couldn’t get a good seal and ended up putting in metal. Dr. Jin took a good look and assured me he could handle it – and that’s what I have now, a perfectly color matched composite filling that should last me until I need dentures! My other smaller filling was just the same – easy and painless. Other notes: I was in here last week during the COVID-19 crisis and Dr. Jin was outfitted in full PPE – mask and face shield, and there was plenty of hand sanitizer around. There was even a new air filtering machine in the exam room, and the patient after me was escorted into a different exam room so I completely trust the cleanliness of the rooms. After that, there are reminder texts for upcoming appointments, and even rewards for confirming appointments and checking in on time! Who knew that just going to the dentist could maybe win me a free waterpik that I would pretend to use?! (Just kidding, don’t kill me Dr. Jin!) I’ve definitely felt like I’ve found my new dentist for life, and I wouldn’t hesitate (and haven’t) to recommend Dr. Jin to all of my friends and family.
