A very experienced and professional dentistry. They were very respectful and excited to work on my pearly whites. I have never been to a facility that love to talk to their patients and always had a smile on their face, this makes me very calm and easily relaxed during my examination.

Dentistry at the Promenade is, first of all, in such a great location for business. This is why they have so many clients coming in daily for regular teeth cleaning. A lot of the residences who live in the Promenade at Rio Vista apartment buildings cruise into this business to have work done on their teeth or just get regular cleanings. The receptionists at the front desk are so wonderful and always have a huge smile on their face which you just can’t help but smile back. They’ll get you an appointment right away and ask you how your day is going. Waiting room is a bit small, but if it ever gets too crowded you can just go outside and wait by the huge, beautiful fountain that belongs to the Promenade of Rio Vista (see my review for here as well). Doctors and dentists are super nice and always love to involve a lot of humor, because well let’s face it sometimes going to the dentist can be stressful! Thanks for answering all the questions I had as well! You guys are great.

I was new in the area and was looking for a new dentist. I called the dentist office in the Ross/ Office Depot shopping center. They couldn’t see me for at least a week out and that was only for my xrays and then I had to make a separate appointment two weeks later for my cleaning. So, I decided to call this office. They were so friendly and were able to get me in within the week and that was for xrays and cleaning. Everyone was so professional and Dr. Bustamante was more than willing to talk to me and give me great care and attention, as though I was the only one there. I did have to go back for fillings. I am usually very skittish about needles, however this office had an electronic needle that was very gentle and pulsated the medicine gradually. It was very painless. I highly recommend this office for all who are looking for a great dental experience!

This is a great place to excellent dentistry as well as support a woman powered business. I have been coming here for 4 years and I believe these women care about what is best for me. When I needed some work done at one time and couldn’t afford the deductible they assisted me by waving the charge. They are VERY persistent about reminding you about check ups or needed follow ups. Some might say they are too persistent but in my case I need that extra nudge to get in a dentist chair. Everyone who works there is friendly, kind and professional. They are calming and understanding to those who find going to the  dentist uncomfortable .

I started going to the Dentistry at the Promenade since September 2017. I have had many bad experiences as the dentist beforehand so I was very nervous and anxious to go and get X-rays. The ladies in the office reassured me that it was going to be okay and helped my nerves fade. They are so friendly and really care about their patients. Now every time I come in they are very kind and make sure I’m feeling okay. They constantly stop what they’re doing to make sure I’m still doing okay and not in pain. Dr. Stella Bustamante has been my dentist for over 15 years since she treated me for a really bad abscessed tooth pain that my dentist at the time for some reason did not detect. From that time on I have entrusted my dental care to her. She has an amazing staff, Yani, Antoinette and Ann. Her office gives you that relaxing feeling. Just kick back, watch a movie and let her do her thing, which she is really good at. My problem is, when she retires who will I go to that will give me that same quality care she has provided me throughout the years.

I went to the Chiropractor next door to this dentist office and swung by and made an appointment for an exam and teeth cleaning since I needed a new dentist. When I went in the receptionist, Antoinette, was very friendly and helpful and helped me schedule an appointment for today. When I went in for my appointment the friendly staff greeting and was ready for me. After only seeing her once, she said “Hey Lars!” right as I arrived. The Dental Hygienist who assisted with my x-rays was also very friendly and warm! She set me up with a movie on the monitor in front of me as well as the monitor on the ceiling. I then met Dr Bustamante and she too was very friendly and explained everything. As we looked at the pictures of my teeth on the monitor she was able to point to any tartar build-up or issues so I could see what she was talking about and knew I was being taken for a ride. I continued to watch “The Long Yard” on DVD as she cleaned my teeth and at the end she explained her suggestions in order of importance and let me know what my options were. In no way did I feel like she was trying to simply sign me up for unnecessary work. I appreciated her showing me everything on the monitor and answering my questions. I scheduled my next appointment and left very happy! Everyone in the office said bye! I have to admit I almost cancelled this appointment after I looked up reviews…but I am really glad I didn’t Dr Bustamante on her staff very very friendly and knowledgeable and I look forward to going back! I like to think it is hard to impress me if you are a dentist because I grew up with the bet Family dentist in my opinion! Everyone after him was just okay to awful. Dr Bustamante is great!

As a mom who found out my daughter has a cavity in her baby tooth, and this will be her first dental work, I had to bring her to the BEST dentist I know. We had to drive miles to get to Dr. Bustamante’s clinic, but it is worth the long drive. My daughter felt very comfortable and at ease with the way Dr. Bustamante calmed her down and of course, with her “gentle touch”, my daughter stopped crying and signaled 2 thumbs up to her dentist. Of course her modern up to date clinic with monitors on the ceiling for patients to watch movies, helped tremendously too. She got distracted watching The Lego movie. The best clinic I’ve seen! I am happy her first experience turned out very positive. I was thinking there will be some type of struggle when she sees the injection and drill. Being a mom too, Dr. Bustamante knows how to make her “little patients” comfortable and confident in knowing they will be well taken cared of. Thank you. We will see you in 6 months. Now my little girl looks forward to seeing her dentist instead of getting scared. 5 stars!!

They have the best staff here. Their staffs are super friendly, knowledgable and GENTLE. I love their hygienist Anh. I have been their client for a little over a year now. Have had at least 2 cleanings now. My old dentist was also located in mission valley, however I switched over to Promenade after having my teeth cleaned by their hygienist. She was super thorough but extremely gentle. I almost fell asleep during the cleaning because the hygienist was so gentle and patient with the care and attention that she delivered. Their staffs are not pushy. They don’t try to sell you product. If they recommend a particular procedure upon examination they always offer to contact your insurance for you to see if it is cover and how much. Dr. Bustamente and Anh really are the best, they pay close attention to your reactions to make sure that you are comfortable and they explain what they are doing to keep you informed and relaxed. I am still not excited to visit the dentist (just like an still not excited to see my doctor or accountant ever), but I am for sure less reluctant to see my dentist now and I am definitely more comfortable, confident, and at ease now that I have the staffs here looking after my dental hygiene.
