I am SO grateful I found this place and that they take United dental! I hadn’t gone to the dentist in quite a few years (no dental insurance) and I was kind of dreading it. I’m very anxious about having dental work done following a seriously bad experience with a nasty oral surgeon. I’d been putting it off but decided to bite the bullet since I have coverage now and no more excuse. Dr. Stuchlik was very nice and knowledgeable but the hygienist Kelsey was a literal ANGEL. She was so patient and sweet and made sure I was comfortable. She talked me through everything and made me feel totally at ease. Even though I had to do the full on deep cleaning after not going for so long, it was still pretty painless. I’m so glad to have found this place, and I’m not dreading going back, which is a huge deal for me! Thank you!

I’ve had a hard time finding a dentist I liked in Houston. I’ve tried several and was happy to see a new office opening up close to home so I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did. I’ve been twice now for routine cleaning and have had great experiences both times. They are punctual, the office is super clean, the staff is nice and professional, and they use new technology (WITHOUT COSTING MORE MONEY) which is the best part.

I am SO glad I was referred to Dentistry of the Oaks by a friend! My current dentist is closed due to COVID and my crown fell off and they were the only dentist able to fit me in the very next day. I actually really like my current dentist but I am going to be moving to Dentistry of the Oaks after my visit. Everyone was super personable and made you feel very comfortable! The atmosphere, equipment – everything was super clean and new and update to date! I couldn’t have been more pleased and already referred them to my sister and a coworker. Thank you guys so much for fitting me in and being so great!!!

This office is incredible! Dr. Stuchlik and Dr. Wendt are so nice and caring. They want what best for you and truly are a patient-centered office. I’ve been seeing Dr. Stuchlik for a few years and am excited she and Dr. Wendt started their own practice. I generally loathe going to the dentist, but this was a great experience. I was seen quickly, staff was friendly and costs were reasonable. They have a TV on the ceiling with Netflix, so you can watch that while they clean your teeth. They even provide wireless headphones, so you can zone out.

One of the best experiences I have had at the dentist in quite a long time. Nobody enjoys having to go to the dentist but they were so nice it actually made it a good experience. They have all the bells and whistles there, free fancy flavored waters in the lobby, and even TVS ON THE CEILING to watch as you’re laying back getting your cleaning! They have gone out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. I am glad I found them!

Dr. Stuchlik was great, but Kelsey the hygienist is an actual angel. I was totally dreading this and had put it off far too long after some bad experiences. Kelsey was SO SWEET and so patient, and kept making sure I was okay and comfortable. I am so grateful to have found such a great office that actually takes my insurance. Fantastic first experience here. Finding a new dentist is always very stressful, but this place was great. They have the latest technology and explain their process to you before using it and then show you afterwards. It’s really cool. I have been going here since they originally opened. The practice is very nice and clean and plenty of parking. Dr. Lindsey and Dr. Katie are amazing. So sweet but also at the top of their game but most importantly honest. I cannot stand trying to be upsold but the doctors at this practice give you their 100 % honest opinion no matter what. Dentistry of the Oaks is hands down, without a doubt, the best experience with a dentist that I have ever had. Everything from the second you call to make an appointment to the time I’m leaving I am always greeted with a friendly hello and great service. I have been seeing Dr. Stuchlik for a few years now and HIGHLY recommend her, as she is extremely professional and always seeks to Go above and beyond for me every time I go in for services. Kelsey and Chris are great hygienists and have very personable personalities and always have great conversations with me and truly make me feel more than just another customer getting their teeth cleaned. The amenities alone are great, ice cold sparkling water selection when you check in, Netflix on a flatscreen on the ceiling to watch with Bose noice cancelling headphones. I mean how could you not like to go to a dentist that cares this much about their patients.

I’m phobic about dentists, in part because I’ve had folks in the dental professions hurt, chastise, and overcharge me. But I am now loyal client at Dentistry of the Oaks. I went in after 5 years of avoiding dentists, and then only because I couldn’t ignore pain. I went looking for any excuse to never return, and they have not put a foot wrong. It is a wonderful team: from the front desk, to the technicians, to the hygienists, to the dentists. They were sensitive to my fear, friendly, accommodating, and took great care to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I was neither shamed nor lectured about the state of my teeth. (it’s nice to be treated like a collaborator in my own dental health, rather than an enemy of precious enamel everywhere). All my insurance details were taken care of and I was appraised of any out of pocket cost before the procedures, be it for routine (cleaning) or more elaborate (root canal / crowns) treatments. Do I LOVE going to the dentist? No. Do I mind going to Dentistry at the Oaks. Absolutely not. They make the most unpleasant part of having teeth more than bearable…maybe even pleasant. Thank you, Dentistry of the Oaks, for alleviating my fear: you’ve already added years to my chompers – I’ll see you every six months

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I was having a dental emergency and really needed two fillings. Dr. Katie Shuhklic was able to see me because she just happened to be there. (This was during the covid 19 shutdown). After a few days I was still feeling a lot of pain. turns out one more tooth on that side, which already had a filling and looked fine, had a small fracture. small as it was, I went through some of the most intense pain I have ever felt which included a trip to the emergency room. $175 dollars and 45 minutes later, the pain came back. I messaged Dr. Shuhklic and requesting to come in and she answered, at 5:45am! She hoped out of bed, opened the office and fixed my tooth. Although I did promise to bring her donuts, the pain was starting to set back in and I needed to fill my prescription. I will make good on my donut promise. This is a great place with great people.

Yesterday was the first time I had been to the dentist in years. To be honest, going to the dentist gave (past tense ) me major anxiety, so I avoided it at all cost. Thanks to the amazing Dr. Stuchlik and everyone at Dentistry of the Oaks this girl is now a FAN of the dentist! Zero cavities and a freshly polished smile later, I’m shouting their praises for all to hear! The facility was beautiful, clean and had all the latest and greatest dental gadgets one could wish for! The super sweet Hygienist Kelsey was so accommodating, extremely down to Earth and personable, and best of all, didn’t make me feel like a dirtbag for missing cleanings for so many years. They were also on time and efficient so there was no waiting around in a waiting room! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Got a referral by my friend to visit this dentist place because mines was in Austin and I cannot describe how happy and comfortable I am with Dr Katie!! I need so much work And the first one I got done was a root canal and a crown and on top of that a deep cleaning! Her staff was amazing and on point! They explain everything step by step and when the day came I was honestly so scared but Dr Katie made me feel so comfortable and took great care of me. Dr. Stuchlik serves the community by participating in several volunteer events. She is an active member of the Junior League of Houston, where her current volunteer placement is at Kids’ Meals in Garden Oaks. She also participates in events such as Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) and Veterans Smile Day; those entities provide free dental care to those in need. In her free time, Dr. Stuchlik enjoys being a new mom to Lillian Kate and spending time with her husband, Ben, and their mini Australian Shepherd, Rex.
