I have had a fear of dentists for as long as I can remember. This fear has cause me to forgo years of needed work. The sounds, feeling, smells the whole 9 yards. Well Dr. Swedberg and her entire staff totally understand. I needed several things done including a couple teeth yanked out. During my first visit Maria and staff sat with me to discuss my fears (practically a phobia) and concerns and fully explained what was going to happen that day. They avoided my damaged teeth(since removed) and set about working up a game plan to get my teeth back on track. I had my second visit today and had some under gum cleaning, I actually didn’t have a panic attack. It went as good as it could go. I also spoke with Maria & her staff about the things I needed done, what order makes the most sense and insurance/my cost. I couldn’t be happier to of found her practice. Maria and every single person in her office are focused on putting us nervous people at ease. And while I have a long road to get the olé pearly whites back to normal, I’m happy to be doing so with Dr. Swedberg and her team. Again, I was deathly afraid of everything to do with a dentist. I cant speak highly enough about Dr. Swedberg and her staff. Dr. Swedberg is the dentist who other dentists trust their teeth with. My most recent appointment had me explaining to the doctor that another dentist had refused to fill a cavity for me because he said it was in a difficult location and that it would be easier to pull the tooth. Not only did Dr. Swedberg fill that cavity, she did so without any numbing agents and without causing me any pain or discomfort. She saved me from having to get a costly extraction, and did it with such care and efficiency. I reccomend Dr. Swedberg be your first line of defense when it comes to caring for your mouth. Her whole office team is happy, always smiling, and ready to help. Five stars for you Dr. Swedberg! Thank you for everything that you do.

I love this place for so many reasons. First no turnover with staff, so everyone knows you. They handle me and my children with such care. I never feel rushed, they are thorough on treatment and explaining aftercare. The girls look so young but their knowledge blows me away, from the front desk back to the rooms. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr Swedberg is a 1983 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She began her dental career in Trenton, New Jersey working in a public health center treating the underprivileged. In 1988 she established her “homeprofessional” office in Toms River, where she and her husband raised their two boys. Ten years later Dr. Swedberg relocated her office to its present location, creating the state of the art facility that it is today. As a little girl, Dr. Swedberg was terrified of the dentist. She was fortunate to come in contact with a dentist who was compassionate and caring. This experience helped to transform her “fear of the dentist” to the dream of becoming a dentist herself. In an effort to provide her patients with an overall positive dental experience and along with ample TLC, she makes available to her patients amenities to increase their comfort. Dr. Swedberg is passionate about her profession and is committed to providing the highest level of quality dental care available. Being the best dentist possible, and providing a caring and compassionate environment for her patients, is her first and foremost concern. Dr. Swedberg and her staff continuously strive to advance their skills in order to provide cutting edge procedures based on the most recent advances in dentistry. Her pursuit of excellence is exemplified by her commitment to attending hundreds of hours of continuing education courses.
