I have been seeing Dr Thompson since 2009! Currently I’m doing the Invisalign treatment and seeing results! The staff is always wonderful, professional and accommodating! Shot out to the OGs Dana & Dion! I referred my little sister to Dr. Who did an amazing job! She definitely smiles way more these days. They have been keeping great sanitation under this pandemic even more than they normally. I have to go in once a month for new trays . Thanks Heath Heroes! Greatly appreciate you.

Aesthetic environment, kind & caring staff. You really can’t beat quality care. Dr. Derrick Thompson works efficiently with the consideration of his patients specific needs. My emotions were a wreck until he cracked a few jokes, shared a calming story & assured me that everything was gonna go smoothly. And, it did. So happy that it’s finally over. I can stop being a big baby now.

I had an absolutely AMAZING time being seen here at Dr. Thompson’s office. My experience began when I called and spoke with Dionne about becoming a new patient. She was so warm and easy to talk to and she helped me book an appointment for the next morning (your mileage may vary, that depends on availability, obviously!). Due to my employer’s strange insurance set-up there was a hiccup in getting my coverage verified, but Dionne handled it like a pro. She kept me in the loop every step of the way and made sure there was coverage before I made the journey into the office which I really appreciated. Once I made it to the chair, my teeth were cleaned by a very personable and funny hygienist, Samantha. She kept great conversation and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. We chatted (as much as I could with all that was going on) and she took x-rays as well as performed the cleaning. Then Dr. Thompson came in with a strong handshake and a warm smile. He examined my x-rays, photos, and teeth themselves. He asked me some questions, some about my dental history, some about me, before giving my teeth the A-OK to return in 6 months. I am SO happy I found Dr. Thompson and I cannot recommend this office highly enough. 10s across the board.

Exceptional service! Genuinely friendly and highly skilled staff, doctor made me feel confident in his plans for my dental care, best visit to the dentist I’ve ever had. Felt like I was in the company of family and friends. Professional, clean, above and beyond attention to my two children who weren’t even being seen today! Love my new dentist office and will tell everyone I know!!

After moving to LA from the Bay Area, I needed to find a new dentist. I did the usual internet search in hopes of finding a dentist I could trust. I came across Dr. Thompson’s name along with a few others. Something in my gut told me to call Dr. Thompson’s office first. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming over the phone. I made my appointment and waited for the day to come. On my first appointment, I found out that the dentist had also grown up in the Bay Area and that my childhood dentist was actually a mentor to him. Besides all that, the office is very clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. I appreciate that he has big headphones with tons of music from his iTunes to drown out the sound of the drill. I’ve never had any problems at this office regarding payment or insurance coverage. I’ve been seeing Dr. Thompson for four years now to have had root canals, fillings, and regular teeth cleanings done by him. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in search of a new dentist, he’s great!.

Best Dentist and Staff a patient/customer could ever ask for. Dionne, who’s the masterful front desk manager, saved the day by setting up the first available appointment for my emergency procedure. I can’t thank her enough for taking care of me. She’s such a sweetheart! Her caring and compassionate nature put my mind at ease. I’ve been seeing Dr. Derrick Thompson for over 17 years and he continues to impress me with his craft. Had my first root canal yesterday (sounds scary to most any patient, and myself) but after a simple explanation, he went right to work walking me through each process of the procedure. Not only did he perform the root canal with ease, but he also saved my crown by carefully customizing the inside to match the exterior of the new post so that everything fit perfectly! I was in and out of his office after an hour!! Only professionals that love their work and their patients can do miracles like this. Who does that these days? Especially in Los Angeles? Love all of you!!.

Thanks to a quick google search I have found my new dentist home! My first experience with Dr. Thompson and his team was truly exceptional. During my initial interaction with Dionne to schedule my appointment to replace an old crown, I immediately knew the practice was staffed with professionals skilled in stellar patient care, customer service and attention to detail. My in-person visit amplified my initial experience to an even greater level. Dr. Thompson and the staff are all knowledgeable and considerate in making sure you understand all aspects including your individual dental needs, insurance coverage, and the impressive advanced technology used in the dental room. I am so pleased to have found a practice that treats their patients with the honesty, care and respect as they would their own family!

I am an 85 yer old woman and I had one of the best dental experiences of my life with Dr. Derrick Thompson. Let me tell you, if you are having problems with your dentures or you want a brand new smile, this is the place to go! After years of denying myself, I am finally am on the right track to sinking my teeth into a nice juicy steak! Dr. Thompson is Senior approved!

I’m a punk when it comes to the dentist, but from the moment I walked in Dr. Thompson’s office his staff made me feel very comfortable. Once I sat in the dental chair I was offered ear phones to listen to music as well. It was a very enjoyable experience (as enjoyable as the dentist can be). My 3 year old son was also seen by him for his first dental check up. Although he was a little scared in the beginning he left with a huge smile (I’m sure the huge treasure box helped). Now he says there is nothing to cry for… lol… I would def recommend Derrick Thompson to anyone seeking a great dentist.

Today was my first time visiting, so I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great dentist office that is so conveniently located here in LA. The whole team from Dionne in the front office – to the dental hygienists and Dr. Thompson himself were all super professional and welcoming and nice. Highly recommend visiting and will be using them as my primary dentist from now on!
