From the front office to the dentists, it’s where I feel comfortable getting my dental care. They’re kind and trustworthy. Dr. Brian listens to my concerns and explains everything I want to know. I haven’t met friendlier staff than at this office. Marlem and Lisa are great. Erica, the hygienist, is best at what she does.

I’m really fortunate to have a dentist office like Desert Dental Group. I been a patient since 2000 and their done phenomenal jobs with my teeth, from braces to removing my wisdom teeth. Dr Brian and his sister Dr Brita are extremely knowledgeable and spend the time with their patients. They have a friendly staff who makes sure you are as comfortable as possible in every visit you make. After years of been a patient of Desert Dental Group I highly recommended to everyone.

Well, I would like to say this is North Hollywood BEST kept secret, but the reality is it can’t be..lol Dr. G ( Dr. Brian ) is one of the most professional, personable Dentist I have ever encountered. He’s great with all ages ( Great with children ). I’ve been coming to him for over 10 years and have no regrets , just positive things to share. If you’re anything like myself, you want someone that really knows their art ( work ). He’s like a Bruce Lee with the skills the only difference is, he’s a Master of dentistry.  I always get excellent service, the staff is wonderful, kewl and down to earth. It’s important to have a relaxed comfortable environment at you’re Dentist and Doctor office. I have come across quite a few dentist in my life and he’s the only one in California that I will see. I currently live in New York and fly to California to visit my Dentist Dr. G. I’m all about real people doing real things and that’s rare to find in these time. So I will continue to fly back and fourth to the West coast just to see… You got it  DR. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! Oh did I mention he’s sister has excellent skills also.. Ahh and no, I don’t own stock in the company..lol I’m just saying.. Oh, to Yelp, can you make sure these message is seen and not discarded ( by mistake ).. Please don’t have me to yelp Yelp.. lol I’m just saying!!!

Loved the office. I’ve had several dentists in the past and i know how difficult it can be to find a good dentist that u can trust. Last year I was told I needed to have gum surgery and I absolutely didn’t want to go through that so I decided to get a second opinion. I heard about desert dental from one of my Friend so I decided to give them a shot. I was really comfortable from day one at Desert dental. After few non surgical gum treatment my gums are as healthy as it can get. I’m reeeeeeeally happy I avoided the surgery.

I’ve never felt as comfortable as I did sitting in the dental chair at this  office than I have at any other office. Dr. Shahangian is simply Honest, Caring,Friendly and most important of all extremely competent of what he is doing. Comfort is one of the main goals of this Dental Office and they accomplished this goal within my first . I’ve recommended all my family and friends and i’ve gotten the same review from all of them. The best dentist in L.A and every time I visit they make sure I leave with my mouth feeling fresh. They have great customer service and are always nice and make you feel comfortable. Their rates and prices are also very affordable and work well with your dental insurance. Clean and modern updated office. If you ever have a issue with your teeth, check out Desert dental.

Love this place ! I came in as a new patient today . Lisa so was so lovely and gracious over the phone taking my appointment and advising me on the perfect bleaching gel . She sold me on making an appointment with them ! Julie , their dental hygienist  is incredibly meticulous and OCD in her work( just like myself )  and takes her time  to educate you on your teeth  ! Never got such a perfect deep cleaning until today . Dr . Brian takes his time to go thru each X-ray and tooth and doesn’t bother with up selling you on any work . Super friendly and personable

I am ashamed to say it, but the last time I visited Dr. Brian was last September for a regular teeth cleaning and checkup, and before that, I can’t even remember when my last cleaning was done. So horrible! The good news is that I am the type of person who ALWAYS carries a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss in my purse and I brush at least three times a day. No matter where I’m at, I make sure to brush! So that has kept me from getting cavities and the like. So when I visited Dr. Brian last year, I was very impressed with the facilities and the ladies working at the front (especially Lisa). She was friendly, personable, and when I called to make an appointment prior to coming in, she was very willing to work around my schedule. I was referred to Desert Dental Group by a coworker and I am so happy that I made the call, because Dr. Brian really knows his stuff! He performed a periodontal exam, which I had NEVER gotten done at any other dentist. Basically, it’s supposed to be routine with every cleaning and it was absolutely unheard of to me. He showed me how to properly floss my teeth ( I was doing it all wrong) and really took the time to listen to my concerns and provide his expert advice. With that being said, I scheduled an appointment a week from now to come in and have another cleaning done and perhaps I will be coming back to get a deep cleaning after that. I already referred my best friend and boyfriend! My road to healthy gums and teeth is set with Dr. Brian!

Marlem is the best scheduling coordinator ever!! Everyone here is quick efficient and sweet. I got to watch HGTV!!! That took my mind off of them working on my teeth. They did an impression for a night guard and that went really smoothly. It even tasted like strawberry. Yum 🙂 I used to live close and moved far away but still come back just because they’re so amazing!

I’ve been coming to Desert Dental since 2007 and absolutely love it! They straightened my teeth with Invisalign, so they were perfect for my wedding in 2009.  Cleaning by Julie has always been gentle and she’s so sweet. Dr. Brian, Marlem at the front desk, and the entire staff is the best! They feel like family. Case in point, I was greeted with warm hugs when I announced my pregnancy to them today. Oh, and I should mention the new massaging chairs while you get your teeth cleaned are a nice touch! They keep the place up to date (including medical equipment). This is the second renovation I’ve seen since I’ve been there.
