We were new to the area and looking a dentist to just get our regular cleaning. We found Dr Cheng on here. We are so happy we went to see him. He is one of the nicest doctors weve ever met. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell truly cares about his patients. But at the same time, he never tries to upsell anything but gives us advice and make us aware of what the next steps would be if ever we encounter dental issues. We highly recommend him and his team if you ever are looking for a new dentist. We also really like the dental hygienists that cleaned our teeth. She was very thorough and answers all the questions we have in regards to having a good dental hygiene. Thank you very much Dr Cheng and team. We really appreciate everything!!

Such an exceptional experience! As someone with an overwhelming phobia of the dentist, to say I was skeptical is an understatement. However, from the first call to actually sitting in the chair, that I once dreaded so much, was relaxing. Yes, you read that correctly. The dentist was a relaxing experience! Please do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Design Dental of Montrose.

As an active duty service member who has served close to two decades in military and seen at least 25 different dental clinics. I must say this is by far the most organized, state of the art facility I have ever set foot in. From the grand reception to the my stellar dental hygienist Jenny; I must say I am impressed! Dr. Cheng is a consummate professional and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him! They are my new dentist! P.S. No design dental did not offer me a free teeth whitening for this review like those other dentist you hear constantly advertising on the radio. I have tried the rest and have found the best!

My husband doesn’t “do Yelp” so he asked that I leave this review on his behalf. He had an extraction yesterday and was very pleased with the treatment he received. He said Dr. Cheng did a great job explaining what needed to be done and that the office staff was outstanding. We will definitely be using Dr. Cheng for all our dental needs and would not hesitate to recommend others do the same.

I have been going to Design Dental for about 2 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff is super friendly and they really care about their patients. Dr. Cheng is great! He is very thorough and offers great advice on keeping your teeth healthy and strong. I highly recommend this dentist office!

Recently had a toothache and after a few days of discomfort, I finally decided I needed to visit the dentist. I had been to this office when the former doctor was still there and knew the staff was top-notch so I was glad when they could get me in quickly. Dr. Cheng is very personable and professional and treated me with care. The whole procedure went smoothly and the worst pain following having a wisdom tooth pulled was just a little discomfort that a couple of Motrin knocked out. I was in and out of the office in about 35 minutes total. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Dr. Cheng and his dental team is amazing.  Due to my constraining work schedule, I never know exactly when I am off in order to make a visit any dental office.  I called Dr. Cheng’s office and told them that I needed had a cracked filling and they were able to fit me in the following day!  Dr. Chang put my mind at else by informing me what he is going to do before doing it.  He was very gentle and made sure that there wasn’t any discomfort through the entire process.

If you’re horrified of going to the dentist because you’ve had a terrible experience before, this is your new Dentist! Painless and patient and everyone in the office was great. I had a root canal, my teeth cleaned and cavity filled and, honestly, felt zero pain afterwards. I actually might start wanting to go to the dentist! 😉

I’ve been going here for several years and am very happy. The staff are incredibly friendly and thorough, and Dr. Cheng has been great. My only complaint is that it can be tough to find parking at mealtimes, but the practice is wonderful! We even moved pretty far from their office and I couldn’t bring myself to change dentists.

I never thought I would say that I actually look forward to a dentist visit, but Design Dental makes me feel that way! The staff is small, making each visit personal yet speedy. I’ve never had to wait and making appointments is simple. Jenny, the hygienist, remembers small things about me and is lovely to chat with. Jennifer at the front desk makes me feel welcome the second I walk in! Their entire staff is welcoming, professional, and friendly. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Dr. Chang is a very professional dentist with great knowledge about teeth. He truly takes time to get to know the patient and listen to their needs and provide options on treatment plans. The wait time coming into the office was minimal! With great customer service from the rest of the staff I high recommend visiting this office for a dental exam and cleaning. My choice to switch over to a well trained dental provider who will thoroughly examine my teeth versus other commercialized practices that offer free teeth whitening, along with other bells and whistles to get patients in has been a frabjous experience. Thanks to the amazing team at the office I am comfortable coming back for my next appointment. Great staff Jennifer and Donya are very polite.

-Passionate -Professional -Transparent -Respectful I’ve known Dr. Cheng for a few years now and one of the most important things in his practices is moderation. I was never made to feel bad about any imperfections(crooked teeth, coffee stains…) or lack of perfect daily hygienic practice. He will not try to sell me on excessive services that he truly believes isn’t necessary. In my personal experience, this is a practice that is rare for many in the industry. The staff at Design Dental of Montrose was very friendly and accommodating. I’ve been to a few dental offices where I’ve had less than stellar experience at the front desk. Not here, no judgements and was always patient. Ms. Jennifer treated me with respect from the second I walked in to when I stepped out. You can tell that everyone was passionate about what they do. Listening to Ms. Donya(Dental Assistant) interact and toss ideas back and forth with Dr. Cheng shows her experience in the industry, but still entertains ideas on ways to improve their office practices. I would recommend Dr. Cheng to anyone I know. You just need to be in the same space to feel the passion he has in his work. He inspires confidence, and that’s something very crucial when you’re laying in that bed under the bright light

The dental hygienist, Jenny, was great with a whopping southern hospitality. She made you feel at home and well taken care of. The dentist, Dr. Cheng, gave me advice that I will start using in my daily oral routine. I recommend Design Dental of Montrose without any reservations. My teeth feel sparkly clean!

Doctor and staff are really nice and knowledgeable. I’ve been a patient of Dr.Chang for over a year but had to go because of a tooth pain. I was concerned because of my pregnancy, but they got the information they need from my PCP and worked very efficiently during the procedure. The best part: I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort during and after the procedure. Thank you!

Dr Cheng has his team are amazing. Dr Cheng is the most detailed and responsible dentist I have ever met. I did my annual exam & cleaning here and decided to complete a major procedure here afterwards. It was totally the right decision. I was really amazed by his work and appreciate the easiness of communication and scheduling.

Dr Cheng and his staff go over an beyond their duties during every dental visit. Dr. Cheng explain in detail regarding dental procedure with professionalism, compassion and kindness. Dr. Cheng and his staff make for a lovely dentist visit. The office was very clean, everyone is extremely friendly & courteous, their wait time is minimal, and I enjoyed getting to watch netflix during my teeth cleaning. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend.
