I had a really great experience here!! I cracked my tooth over the summer white water rafting and after putting it off for two months I decided I needed to get it checked out. I don’t have dental insurance so I bought the groupon and asked if the xray could be used to examine my damaged tooth over the phone which they ensured me it would! When I got there, there was a bit of a wait but the receptionist (Hayley) was so sweet and took such great care of me. I normally expect a wait whenever I go to the DR but they were so apologetic and even gifted me a free electric toothbrush for my wait!! Incredible.. I have never experienced such incredible service for waiting in a dr’s office! Ha.. its pretty standard! I could tell that this isn’t something that is normal for them. When I saw Dr Hall she went out of her way to examine my tooth, give me an xray as well as running a few tests and explained everything I need to have it repaired. I have never felt so taken care of at the dentist and will definitely be back to get all my work done there! THANK YOU for such a great experience!

Went in for a root canal. Bobbie at the front desk was great. Everyone was nice. Of course it was a root canal so at the time it felt like a complete violation of my mouth, no pain just uncomfortable because it was a back molar and took over 2hrs. I feel like that is unavoidable. The most important part is that it’s now 3 days later and my mouth feels completely normal. I stopped taking ibuprofen yesterday because I wasn’t needing it and I never had to start antibiotics. This tells me that the procedure was done without any mistakes or complications. Knock on wood I haven’t jinxed myself with this review but A+ Dr. Aja Hall!

I have had some really bad experiences with dentists before. I had tooth pain and was trying to avoid a dentist, in the end I decided to try a new place. When I called I was given an appointment right away when I mentioned I had pain. All the staff is really friendly and caring. After an examination, Dr. Aja explained with pictures and x-rays of my teeth what was causing the pain, and gave me several options on how to proceed. I was later given a cleaning done also by Dr. Aja, she was really kind and went beyond to make feel comfortable. They have newly renovated offices, and Netflix, so I watched tv series while they worked on the cleaning. The treatment I have been getting has worked wonderfully. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and will keep coming here in the future.

I had my first cleaning here last week, my friend is a patient and referred me to Dr. Hall. I seriously hate the dentist and am constantly changing just because I never have had a truly great experience with any dentist since leaving my hometown 5 years ago. But I am so happy I found Dr. Hall and her office!!!!! I hate the sound of the tools they use when cleaning your teeth and they immediately offered an iPad with headphones to make me more comfortable, I was so impressed with the hospitality I received my entire visit. Dr Hall was so sweet and gentle as was the lady who cleaned my teeth. Oh and the x-rays….I have never had such an easy pain-free x-ray session before!!!!!! I’ve been to 2 other dentists in the 450 Sutter building but Dr Halls office blows them out of the water! I’m going back next week to take care of some cavities and it’s weird to say but I’m actually looking forward to getting all my work done at this office.

Finding a good dentist has so many factors. Office staff, location, quality of work, ability…and if that person makes you uncomfortable while you are laying upside down staring into their eyes!!! Office Staff. Well, I’m super happy I found this office. Office staff was super attentive, remembered my name on subsequent visits and made attempts to make me feel welcome as if each visit was my first. Location. Coming from the East bay, was an easy walk off bart and right in the heart of downtown. This office is also recently remodeled and has an amazing view of the city. I started coming here pre-remodel. Dr. Hall – ability and related. I take my smile very seriously – first thing most people see. She was able to show me my smile progression over time plus improvements that made sense. Both financially and IDK the word, but the way your teeth fit together and bite. Which are both super important to me and I didn’t feel like I was being recommended for misc procedures. The other nice thing about Dr. Hall is that she is trained in so many additional procedures and has numerous other resources. For me – I’m busy and need 1-stop shopping and that’s what I get from this office and my experiences. Changes or recommendations. Well, now that I work in San Jose – this location is so far. So maybe more offices out this way. Besides that – I think prices and hours are set based on the quality of work and service received. And I’ve visited quite a few offices/Dentists; before really feeling like I found a good package solution. GL.

I’ve been going to this office for as long as I’ve lived in SF…12 years. When my former dentist sold the practice, I was crushed but decided to give Dr. Hall a chance. She has more than met my expectations. The office was nice before but renovated now and fully modernized. And more importantly, although there are now tvs on the ceiling and free drinks in the waiting room, the staff are lovely. Friendly and efficient. Dr. Hall is experienced and thorough. She had many recommendations for future dental work for me, but she’s not pushy. I’m happy to say, however, that I’ll be sticking around to get whatever work done that I need. I know that I’m in good hands. And if I can do the extras (cosmetic or otherwise) I’ll be happy to give her my business. And a big shout out to Christina who did my cleaning today. She was so patient and sweet. I’ll be asking for her every time.

On New Years’ Eve I got in a terrible bicycle accident in the city and partially knocked out my front teeth (4 of them) and succeeded in re-arranging my face. The next morning, my face having been stitched up at the hospital, I began to look for a dentist. After about a dozen calls to various offices, I dialed Dr. Hall’s number and was surprised & relieved to hear her pick up on the other end of the line. Broken teeth and swollen lips reduced my expressive abilities to a generic mumble, but Dr. Hall told me that I could be seen first thing Monday morning. In my situation the dental process lasted a couple months; temporary fixes to allow the teeth to heal, then a root canal and eventually 4 crowns. Yeah, it was damned expensive, but what can you do. I was afforded excellent care and it’s not the fault of Dr. Hall’s office that my dental insurance plan is some real weak sauce, or that more generally America seems to prioritize Corporate & Billionaire tax breaks instead of decent health care coverage. Those are things beyond my control. Now that the crowns are installed I feel pretty much recovered from the ordeal and I thank everyone for their expertise. Dr. Hall is a highly skilled professional & very nice person who did her job very well, taking the time to describe to me what was happening all along. Jenny did a good job doing the molds for the crowns, as well as fashioning temporary teeth for me while the crowns were being made in the lab. Still need her help to act as getaway driver for my planned bank heist though…got to pay for this somehow. Shall we hit Chase Manhattan of Bank of the West?? You tell me, girl.

I purchased a Groupon Voucher for 1 exams, 1 cleanings with a set of x-rays. I called the to schedule my appointment, I spoke to Hayley she was super sweet & friendly! Later came in for my appointment that same week, walked in to be greeted by Leslie, she introduced herself & offered to make me a coffee or tea, two big thumps up! Then I had my teeth cleaned by Christina, she gave me one of the best cleanings I’be ever had. I really liked Dr. Hall, her dental hygienist Kyle, and the front staff. The office is beautiful, the people were friendly, my visit was painless and enjoyable. Up to this point I’ve kind of bopped around from dentist to dentist and just gone where the deals are, but I’m hoping to keep coming back to Dr. Hall (and Kyle and the others). I think the best part was really just how friendly they all were. Everyone seemed so genuinely nice. If you aren’t in love with your old dentist, and especially if you’d like a great dentist near BART, I recommend Dr. Hall to you.

Wow can’t believe how fast and great the service was. I was first greeted by Leslie who was sitting at the front desk, got seated and bam got called in by the hygienist Christina who did a great job cleaning my teeth. I rolled into this practice, as she bought-out my former dentist. And I have to say, Dr. Hall is really kind and gentle. (I had a crown that was bothering me, and she worked on it at my last appointment, on the spot–and it seems to fit better. No extra charge.) Plus, they offer insurance for $25 a month that covers 2 cleanings a year, x-rays and dentist exams–plus bleaching trays–and 25% towards most necessary dental work. It’s a convenient 450 Sutter downtown location. The dental hygienist was thorough and personable as well.

I just had my second cleaning completed here and it was just as great of an experience as the first time. As a patient the whole cleaning process is easy and pain free using the latest equipment. Dr. hall always examines every part of the mouth thoroughly and it is easy to tell she genuinely cares about you and the health of your teeth. I’ve visited designing smiles twice, once for a general cleaning and the other time was for a deep cleaning. Both experiences were great, the staff are very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to dentistry. I got to watch Netflix during my deep cleaning which I thought was very cool. First time getting a dental exam after getting out of the military and was nervous since I was sent there by the VA to get an evaluation for a claim. The staff was super friendly and professional. The receptionist’s were super kind and helpful. The dental tech was very straight forward and personable.Dr. Hall was extremely professional and kind. She listened and asked questions and showed that she cared through her actions. I’m honestly perplexed that my experience went so well after hearing of all the nightmares that the VA causes to vets or friends of mine who got out. More practices like this should be around. 100% worth the 2 hour drive. Was a great start to my day after dealing with traffic coming from salinas CA. If you have a choice, go see Dr. Hall. That’s someone who actually cares about what she does and has passion for what she does and acts like a normal human. Not just in it for the money. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful experience. If I can go back, I would make that drive every time to go to the dentist. I found Dr. Aja Hall’s dentistry practice through groupon and it turned out to be one of the more positive experiences I’ve had going to a dentist. Everybody was welcoming from the moment I arrived. Leslie, the treatment coordinator, was very sweet and patient with me as I filled out the forms. Christina, the hygienist, sat down with me and made me feel very comfortable and like I was in good hands. She went over all of my concerns and gave me very necessary feedback. The cleaning from her was smooth and painless and I have super sensitive gums so this was a true relief. Dr. Aja Hall was great- she went over my x rays with me, did a full exam and took pictures so that I could actually see what she was talking about. She answered all of my questions and was patient and made sure I was well informed on everything. The technology in this office is all new and digital. I am in shock and awe. Christina Nguyen and Dr. Aja Hall are AMAZING! Not only is the office immaculate, but the staff is unparalleled. Prior to my appointment, they made sure to have all prices and insurance coverage available to me so I would be aware of any additional costs. Christina, my hygienist, walked and talked me through all my history, questions, and the process of what she was doing. She also was very detailed about gum health and how it was important to take take care of them as much as our teeth if not more so. Dr. Hall showed me in detail issues that were present, what needed to be done, and most importantly why. Prior to proceeding with treatment, she made sure I was aware of any costs so I wouldn’t be surprised or blindsided. This was the first time getting a filling where I never once felt the prick of the needle. I was also provided with a headset and given all of Netflix to choose from what to watch. What a luxury!!! I felt relax, safe, and comfortable – as if I was at the spa and not at the dentist getting a filling. 5 star and 2 enthusiastic thumbs up for everyone at Dr. Hall’s office.

I went to their office which was easily accessible by all means of transportation and found their spotless office overlooking the gorgeous view of downtown San Francisco. Dr. Aja Hall is hands-down, the absolute best dentist I’ve ever experienced. My entire mouth needed an overhaul. All of my 28 old worn-out crowns needed replacing as well as three wisdom teeth extracted. I did not know where to turn! My sister-in-law highly recommended her dentist, Dr. Hall. I was so anxious and apprehensive. Those feelings melted when I first walked through the door. Haley and Leslie at the front desk could not have been more friendly and welcoming. So I came back for my second cleaning on Thursday August 27 at around 1:45. As I walked in the lady at the front desk greeted me with a lovely smile. So while waiting I’ve seen a brochure called Affordable Dental Coverage (ADP) that is sitted right by the front desk. So I read it and thought that it was a great insurance coverage since I don’t have one. It is very affordable costing an average of $25 per month so basically spending a $300 per year including free cleanings and bleaching trays plus discounts on whatever fillings you need to have. So I enrolled and so are you. It’ll give you advantages of saving money! I have seen Christina for my cleaning. She was very nice as she approached me at the door. As she was doing my cleaning we were chatting and I so like her. She was very gentle and suggesting things that will improve my dental health. So I recommend that u come see her and get a wonderful, nice, and amazing feeling clean teeth! I loved this place. Will be going back here. Dr. Aja Hall was so friendly, lovely, and beautiful inside out. If you are looking for a dentist, come try on this place and it will change not only your teeth but you will gain friends too. I have been coming to Dr Hall since she took over this practice six years ago… she’s a fabulous gentle compassionate practitioner who has surrounded herself with great associates. Her hygienists are excellent and work well in concert with her. With the other doctors in the office as well, you can always expect and receive the best in modern dentistry. She and her team are very friendly and are always flexible when making appointments and working around my schedule. Dr. Aja Hall was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She received her Doctorate in Dentistry from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA in 2006. In addition to General & Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Aja Hall is an Invisalign Provider, providing aesthetic orthodontic treatment for teens and adults. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Hall is committed to continually broadening her dental education by keeping up to date with the latest technologies, treatments, and research by attending and participating in advanced continuing education courses.
