From the minute you walk in, you is instantly feel a sense of calm (which can’t can’t be said about most other dental offices!). Dr. Zin and his staff are beyond friendly, professional, always on-time, and most of all, gentle! I usually hate going to the dentist, but I’m so happy to have found this gem in such a convenient area! They have tons of free open parking spaces too!

I had my first visit to Diamond Dental Spa yesterday. Dr. Zin was so gentle and caring, always explaining everything he was going to do and what I would be feeling so I wouldn’t be surprised. I had a toothache, so I searched for an emergency dentist around me. I always call several places to compare and I was surprised that when I called after office hours Dr. Zin picked answered my call. He advised me over the phone and offered to come in the office the same night to help me. Dr. Zin Kohan is the most patient, kind and gentle dentist I have ever had. He takes the time to really educate me about good dental hygiene and talk me through my procedures. This kind of attention to detail and care is unparalleled. Seriously. There is no other dentist I would trust as much as him. He is incredibly accommodating and has helped me get through my fear of the dentist. Their new office is super cool too with easy parking on prime Ventura Blvd. The staff is always warm and friendly, and the rooms are equipped with TVs to make the whole experience super easy and comfortable. I chipped my front tooth and Dr. Zin was the only Dr. out of 4 that I called that took me as a new patient so quickly because of the COVID situation. That is how I found him. He fixed my tooth and then noticed that two of my upper teeth were fracturing due my grinding them. He didn’t reschedule me to another day because he ran out of time, he took care of it right there and then with the latest mouth scanning technology. Because I was a new patient he was offering free teeth whitening which I took him up on at this visit. White teeth make a HUGE difference. I am super happy with whole experience.

I went to Dr. Zin’s office this week without dental insurance. I didn’t think he would be able to see me. Fortunately, he has a membership plan that is so cheap compared to actually paying for all the treatment separately. The best part is he did a free scan for invisalign and a complimentary implant consult for my missing teeth. Oh, I forgot to mention I also get 20% off all my other treatment. By the way, the prices were awesome

Dr. Zin Kohan graduated dental school from the prestigious University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry. He started his college education at the University of California Los Angeles, majoring in Psychology. After pursuing his degree in Psychology, he loved the medical field so much that he decided to continue his education in the field of dentistry. After four amazing years at USC, Dr. Zin went on to work as an associate dentist, while being mentored alongside some of the most renowned dentists in Los Angeles, CA Dr. Zin excels in all phases of dentistry, but his personal passion lies in the cosmetic branch. This allows him to see how deeply dentistry can affect a person’s self-confidence, outlook on life, and even relationships. He has always taken a very eco-friendly approach to his craft by creating a metal-free atmosphere in his practice. After years of education and experience, Dr. Zin decided to dedicate his talent, passion and care, to the warm and loving people of Southern California (where he was also raised!). It is here, in the San Fernando Valley, that he has connected to so many amazing people. He is blessed with loving parents and two siblings. He has two adorable rescue dogs, Charlie and Teddy…and they are more high-maintenance than most humans! Dr. Zin is also an avid sports fan, and his favorite team is the Los Angeles Lakers. He spends much of his free time with family and friends, whether for a delicious meal, or simply to play a game of cards. Dr. Zin’s goal is for his practice to be a place where the relationship between him and his patients feel more like friendships that will grow stronger each year.
