I was so excited to see that Dave was opening a place in Pearl City! More convenience and accessibility for me and my family. He and his staff have been so caring and helpful through the years. They are truly professionals, always attentive and conscientious. Keep up the great work!

The entire staff have always been a great combination of professional and friendly I have been going there for 4 years I started because of convenient location but would now make supreme effort if it meant Dr Matto would be doing the work Excellent communication and end results

I first went to Diamond Head Dental Care because it is conveniently located walking distance from my home. However, I have continued going there largely because Dr. Matto is both extremely professional yet friendly and relaxed. Overall, my teeth cleanings have been thorough and come with advice on where to improve my own brushing regime. In the past, they have given me a couple small fillings which were quick and painless (both physically and in terms of insurance, scheduling, etc.). I highly recommend! Plus, if you haven’t gotten a flouride treatment, there are lots of great cafes to eat at within a block of the office on Monsarrat Ave.

I have been going to Ala Moana Dental for almost 10 years now and I honestly would not go anywhere else. The staff is friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable and really make you feel at ease. They have all the latest technology. Dr Matto is such a great dentist. He is thoughtful, caring and very thorough. He also called me to check on me after a root canal which i thought was exceptional. They have great hours too! I highly recommend them!!!

Dr. Matto and the entire staff at Diamond Head is incredible. While on vacation, I experienced a nasty pain due to my already cracked wisdom tooth. Adding to the pain was the fact that I am pregnant and was taking a long flight journey (back to Boston in 2 days). This just increased the complication. Dr. Matto was extremely patient in answering all my questions, took minimal X-Rays to determine the extent of decay and was highly skillful in extracting out my rotten tooth and giving me the much needed relief from pain. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing doctor and his staff, especially Nicole, who helped me out so efficiently on such a short notice. Although I live in Boston, I want to now fly out to Honolulu every few months for dental work – highly recommend this doctor and his practice.

My favorite dental office ever! There is a good reason why I make the trip from Kaaawa to Diamond Head to see the dentist. I know that I’ll be taken care of comfortably. I’ve been a patient since 2018. Ive seen many different technicians and doctors at the Diamond Head location over the years; I even had all four wisdom teeth removed here. Each an every employee has done a great job making me feel comfortable! I don’t like people working in my mouth and I get anxious even during a quick cleaning. But the care I receive here is great. Everyone is always so friendly, gentle and attentive. I really appreciate Diamond Head Dental Care for always taking care of me. I no longer dread my bi-annual dental cleanings. Ps. My last visit was at the Pearl City location and I received the same excellent care at this new office.

I was looking for a new dentist since my hygienist moved to the mainland last year. Diamond Head Dental care had such great reviews on Yelp, I thought I would give them a try. Everything about this place is great – friendly staff, clean and modern equipment, a gentle but thorough cleaning. I’m very happy I found a great new Dentist office!

I came across Diamond Head Dental Care by a postcard I’ve received in the mail. Called them up, made an appointment for cleaning. They were extremely professional and I was super happy with the teeth cleaning, I also had got a consultation for an implant as I had a molar that was suffering because of a root canal that went wrong with another dentist about 18 years ago. They referred me to an implant specialist and I was very happy with him and his office staff as well. Ten months later and no complications, Dr. Motto ordered my permanent crown, which was installed today and the color was just perfect. The tooth is just perfect. I was able to get a tooth cleaning as well and schedule my next cleaning appointment. I highly recommend them.

Woke up with a throbbing toothache and called Diamond Head Dental for an appointment. They were able to get me in that morning tose a dentist! not only that, but the receptionist who answered the phone had a very keen awareness of what I was experiencing, and very willing to listen and discuss my problem knowledgeably, instead of just taking my name and giving me the appointment time. I’m sold. Parking in the ;ot is a challenge, due to popular restaurants and shops, but street parking was no problem.

We traveled to Oahu from AZ for daughter’s wedding. My wife had a crown come off on a Friday night. I went online to find and emergency dentist that would be open on Saturday. We took a chance on Diamond Head. There were a Godsend and miracle. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Jess and Cassandra. The office is clean and inviting. The care was professional and we were out within the hour and able to focus on our trip and family. If we lived here, this would be our denist.

Dr. Matto and his staff are excellent! It’s especially great that I can schedule appointments for my six-year-old daughter and me at the same time. She’s no longer afraid of going to the dentist, because “Uncle Dave” works on her teeth and “Mommy’s” teeth at the same time– so it makes her totally comfortable. What a wonderful experience I had at Diamond Head Dental Care! I was on vacation and lost my crown. They were able to get me in on the same day and fix it within 15 min. The office staff was so kind and the Dr. was awesome!! So blessed to have picked the right clinic to help me out and then I was off enjoying my vacation again. Thank you so much!
