Don’t usually bother with reviews unless it’s really bad or exceptionally good. This is a case of a latter. Very clean and healthy environment, everyone is nice, polite and you never feel pressured or rushed. Unlike some doctors that I meet more and more often lately, Dr. Kucher listens without interruptions, does not display any signs of irritation and answers questions in a way that you believe that this is how he would talk to his parents – with respect and patience, always leaving a choice up to you. I had an emergency while visiting relatives in NJ, and they recommended Dr. Kucher; he stayed late to see me and did a superb job. I decided that the least I can do is to write this review. Dr. Kucher is an excellent dentist, and the DK dental hygienists, support staff/officer managers are friendly, accomodating and compassionate. I’ve had ongoing dental work here. The doctor is approachable, communicative and the process has been painless. Dr. Kucher and his staff are fully aware that going to the dentist is not fun, so they go the extra mile to make their customers comfortable. They offer coffee, water and tea, warm hand wraps, etc. The office environment is relaxing, with nice music, plants, sunlight, etc. I would describe it almost like a spa environment.

Let me start by saying- best dentist ever!!!- I’ve known Dr Kucher for over 10 years and his level of service with patients is incomparable to any other practice I’ve come across – and believe me and my family have tried many other dentists after moving away – My kids who are now grown men still remember his pain free treatments and kind – gentle -demeanor – he was the only dentist who while injecting numbing drugs you could never feel any pain – even with my root canal I would come away smiling- I would love to give him 100 stars if it were possible- so in conclusion if you’re weary of dentists I implore you to try Dr Kucher you will not be disappointed- Also staff is exceptional – warm and welcoming- also I feel the 2 negative reviewers are mistaken because I would’ve realized in a decade that Dr Kucher was anything like they described- he and his staff do not try to scam anyone- he’s extremely honest and holds his integrity high in the sky – I’m only posting after so long because these reviewers are harming his character and finger pointing baseless accusations-I hope people reading this find this review helpful

Yesterday I went to see Dr. Kucher for a filling. He was very fast which was nice and even though he was quick I was impressed by how good and comfortable the filling felt leaving his office. He took time to answer questions about TMJD and he also took time to clean my teeth since I was already in the chair- very cool for a busy working mother! He also answered questions about addressing our daughter’s dental care. She is 3 1/2 years old and we need to get her to the dentist. He was patient and kind and knowledgeable about children’s dentistry. I had thought I would have to take her to a pediatric dentist but I am confident that Dr. Kucher will do a good job. He also gave me a little coloring book for her so that she can learn about going to the dentist before we go. In sum- great dentist. Highly recommended.

Dr Kucher and his entire staff are awesome! I’ve always had anxiety about going to the dentist, but not when it comes to this office. The staff goes out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience; even offering paraffin hand treatments while you wait. Dr Kucher is gentle and considerate. I am blown away! I came for a second opinion trying to avoid getting an implant, or a bridge, which I was told are my best options for the remnant of my pre-molar which had a filling fall out. The dentist, Dr Kucher told me he could do a root canal, post and crown, explained the process and attentively addressed my concerns. Very affordable, and such warm, welcoming attention, I was offered coffee, tea and snacks, given a mouthwash and a travel container! Lauba was very gracious at reception! Great experience!

Incredibly good dental group. A very bright and friendly atmosphere, and you can make nice small talk with Dr. Kucher and his staff. What distinguishes Dr. Kucher from other dentists that I’ve had to go to is that he and his staff do their very best to accommodate for you so that your visits are comfortable and painless. If you’re like me, and you had (and hated) dentists that did fillings without anesthesia of any kind, or if you just generally have a low pain tolerance, you’ll enjoy coming to him for your dental work. He went to every end to make sure that I wasn’t in pain and that I was doing okay, checking in and making sure I was ready to keep going with my fillings and what-have-you. He’s definitely a dentist that actually cares for you. As a bonus, he and his staff are very informative. They tell you exactly what they’re going to do on the day of your visit, and they don’t keep anything from you. They show you what’s wrong with your teeth, and recommend (and provide) what to do to keep them healthy and fresh—unlike other dentists that vaguely say, “brush more and floss more.” They tell you what the problems are, and recommend and provide solutions. Overall, 5/5. Awesome dentist. Awesome staff. Comfy and painless experience. Looking forward to my appointments.

Tried Dr. Kutcher because he took my insurance. I work in NYC and my insurance is YET, the union for NYC teachers. It’s a quick commute for me but more importantly immaculately clean. No sitting around but respect for your time and totally professional, from the receptionist, to dr. Kutcher. Did I mention I’m was terrified of the dentist! I long time had a pain with one of my tooth but did not take an action until recently. after a friend’s recommendation, I finally visited DK Dental Group located in Livingston (349 E Northfield Rd). I took advantage of the promotion they had; full X-Rays and Cleaning for just $135. I was able to meet Dr. Kucher the same day for free consultation. Since dental was not covered by my insurance, I was a given a flexible payment plan to treat route canal which was causing toothache for a longtime. The Doctor and his office staff are all friendly and caring. In addition, the price is very competitive Amad . a very satisfied patient

Staff always cordial, easy scheduling for individuals with hectic schedules like myself, text or email reminders. (I found very helpful) office has a great ambience, water, tea and aromatherapy in waiting area (I have waited a max. of 4 mins before being brought in, maybe i’m very lucky or they’re just efficent) Dr. K is really the best, honest, gentle, and good. Affordable, originally saw his ad on Groupon, now I have Delta dental. I recently moved, but still come back up to livingston for Dr. K and Luba. And I will continue to do so, even from New Brunswick. Staff members also speak Russian and Spanish, if that helps.

I absolutely LOVE this practice. My two little ones had an appointment the other day. It was their first visit with the dentist. I wasn’t sure how my two year old was going to do, but the hygienist, the dentist and everyone there is so warm and engaging that the both of them had a blast! They are patient, thorough and caring. I had my first visit a few months ago at about 31 weeks pregnant. They squeezed me in for an emergency visit and relieved all of my fears. The entire team is awesome! If you’re looking for a great dentist you’ve found it! (The secretary is also awesome!! )

My husband and I were searching for a good dentist since we moved to Livingston (4 years ago). And then we visited Dr. Kucher and his staff. Interestingly, we came through Groupon (but not before reading the great reviews of this Dental group). We were not sure what the experience will be like. Yet. we loved everything about our experience with this Dental group. First was the office staff and they were all warm, accomodating and welcoming. Then the hygienist, Natalia, who was unbelievably knowledgeable, gentle as they come, patient, thorough, kind and beautiful. Then I met Dr Kucher and I understood why his people are so great: It is because he is incredible. Dr. Kucher, with great expertise and professionalism, took his time examining my mouth thoroughly, and then he explained everything clearly and in detail, allowing time for all my questions. I left the office with a clean and “happy” mouth, but more than that, very satisfied because my husband and i finally found a really special dentist and fantastic staff. Groupon came through… Dont let a Groupon deal discourage you from visiting a Doctor… You may be pleasantly surprised at the very high quality of work that you may find. One of the best dental offices I have visited! The staff was really attentive and professional. I came for a cleaning with Vicky and was given a tour of the office prior to my appointment. They have lots of refreshments available and also gave me a welcome present. Dr. Kucher was very knowledgeable and I was able to get my treatment done without any pain. I have been to DK Dental for the last two years. I am very satisfied with the quality of care. The front desk is friendly and knows how to handle dental claims. I don’t often leave reviews; however, I think it is important to acknowledge someone who does exceptional work. Dr. Kutcher has been my dentist for the past 3 years. I have always feared the dentist yet he has a way to ease my anxiety each time I come. He is very patient and always gentle. During one of my visits in which I had to get a few needles for some pretty deep cavities, the dental assistant first provided me with lavender paraffin wax gloves. The scent of lavender automatically relaxed and soothed me (and it also made my hands smell and feel incredible after). Each time I needed a needle Dr. Kutcher would walk me through it letting me know what is going on. He had a method in which I can honestly say I did not feel a thing. He is a kind and caring dentist who goes above and beyond. The quality of care is outstanding. Thank you Dr. Kutcher for always making my visits as enjoyable as they possibly can be and thank you for making sure I have a great smile. Dr. Kucher and his staff are simply the best! I recently went for a dental checkup and I honestly will never go to another dental office ever again. First of all, the office and reception area are very welcoming. The ladies at reception were friendly and quickly gave me the forms I needed to fill out. There was coffee and tea available and plenty of reading materials. But not that I could enjoy that because I was literally admitted within 10 mins, right after I completed the forms. What happened next was way beyond my expectations. The dental hygienist Julia greeted me and made sure I was comfortable as I settled into the dentist chair. She gave me shades so that I wasn’t blinded by the fluorescent light as a reclined. When taking those tricky xrays of my bottom teeth, she made sure I was OK and worked quickly so that I didn’t experience any discomfort. Who cares about their patients like that anymore? I mean, WOW! Overall, Julia was well-prepared, gentle, and very personable. She was done before I knew it. There was no pain at all and my teeth were smoother than ever. THANK YOU JULIA!!! Dr. Kucher was efficient and examined my teeth thoroughly. He didn’t pressure me to get anything unnecessary done and was refreshingly honest. Before I left, I got a goodie bag AND a cute welcome gift with a USB block, face masks, and other goodies. Julia and Dr. Kucher took the time to come out of the patient room and say goodbye to me. I actually look forward to my next visit. I didn’t know going to the dentist could be such a pleasant experience! I would give these guys a gazillion gold starts if I could!!

I want to start off by writing that I had avoided the dentist for many years because of previous scary and traumatizing experiences. We’ve all had them unfortunately. One day I came across Dr. Kucher online after I searched for dentists near me. I read his reviews and decided to come in and give his practice a go. I was beyond impressed from the first time I stepped foot in his practice. The receptionists were very friendly and kind. They offered some coffee or tea to drink. They also had a very clean and inviting waiting room. Big flat screen t.v. and a comfy couch. I filled out my paper work and was called immediately. Dr. Kucher introduced himself and previous to that so did his assistant. The assistant set everything up and took my x-rays. She was gentle and very kind. Dr. Kucher made me feel very safe. He cleaned my teeth perfectly and explained in detail everything he had done. He also made sure that I knew everything I still needed done. ( My last cleaning was around 11 years ago.) I knew for a fact that I needed an extraction and he confirmed that my tooth was beyond salvageable. Today I went for my molar extraction. I was terrified still…I have a very low tolerance for pain and I was scared it would hurt. He and his staff made sure I felt safe and calm. They assured me all would go well. They were 100% right! I am in ZERO pain. I don’t feel discomfort and my swelling has gone down completely.I had a huge infection and he was able to remove, clean and stitch everything perfectly. I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure, after he got the first bit out ( my tooth was broken in 2 pieces) I actually felt so much better because I had not even noticed when he removed it. I felt completely relaxed and just let him do his work. I trusted him completely. I recommend Dr. Kucher to everyone!!! He sent me home with all my after care instructions, extra gauze and my prescriptions. (Antibiotics and pain meds.) I can’t thank him enough! I am so amazed at his work. I will continue to come here forever. Visit him if you are in need of an amazing dentist!
