I have been a patient of Dr. Dexter’s for years and I could not be happier. I love his approach to patient care and I’ve never felt rushed during my appointments. Dr. Dexter is excellent, warm and personable and makes you feel at ease. One of his dental hygienists, Aniela, is always very friendly and patient as well. Dr. Dexter also displays artwork from local photographers in his office. The artwork changes so it’s fascinating and refreshing to see what’s on display each time I visit. I highly recommend Dr. Dexter and his practice! Thank you very much, guys!

I’ve been going to Dr. Dexter for a few years now, following many experiences with other dentists. Dr. Dexter and his office and staff are the end of my search. They are awesome, and I recommend them to everyone I know. Dr. Dexter is very knowledge and personable, explains things well, and has a good humorous attitude. His work is great and has been done right every time. Dr. Dexter was even able to fix a dental emergency I had the next morning on a weekend (within hours of it happening.) The person who does the front scheduling and payment is also really nice to interact with, as are the hygienists who work there. It’s exactly the experience and results you want when going to the dentist.

Best Dentist I’ve ever had and I feel I’ve been fortunate to have some good ones! It’s always an enjoyable appointment and Dr. Dexter is gentle, kind and great with his explanation of whatever procedure he’s undertaking — as well as with with giving alternatives when available. I’ve had fear-mongering dentists and flashy in-your-face dentists over the years, and was so pleased to find that Dr. Dexter is neither. His calm, genuine demeanor is reassuring and soothing, and I appreciated that he spent a good amount of time talking through each step of my dental issues. He also gave me the low-down on treatment and fluoride during pregnancy, and explained why his advice was different than the general OB guidelines – again, I felt respected and cared for. The hygienist and receptionist are also lovely. So glad that I chose Dr. Dexter!

I miss living in Eugene so I can have Dr. Dexter as my full-time dentist! I returned last week to have an evaluation of the health of my teeth. He was able to file across the bottom front row to give me an even smile, which also will strengthen my teeth. They have this new camera that allows you to look at the full set of your teeth as a photo and to have a deep conversation about what is happening. Go, Dr. Dexter, go! Wish you could move to Seattle!

Excellent care, skill and information. I have never been as impressed with any other Dentist as I have been with Dr. Dexter (and my Godfather was my first Dentist). Dr. Dexter was initially recommended to me by a friend when I had a dental emergency (very painful exposed nerve). He was able to see me on short notice and was able to take care of the problem in short order. I found Dr. Dexter to be the best informed, most communicative and technically adept Dentist I’ve ever gone to for treatment. He is extremely proficient when giving shots (one of the most concerning aspect of many folks visits to the dentist), In a few years of treatment, I have never felt his needle. He always fully explains treatment options and is fully up to speed on the latest techniques and treatments. It’s not often that folks are as enthusiastic about their dentists, but I have always been EXTREMELY satisfied with the care I’ve received from Dr. Dexter and his team.

I found Dr Dexter and all his staff to be very competent and caring. They all take the time to fully explain things to you, be it your dental work, or your charges and insurance coverage. They answer all questions and work to make you comfortable during your visit. Need a pillow? How about a blanket? Jessie even helped me to my car during a snow-ice event! Who does that? Clean, professional and modern practice. Dr. Dexter, hygienists, assistants and front desk are extremely professional, knowledgable and friendly. Really never been a big fan of going to the dentist but I have never been able to shake my sweet tooth. In other words I will be needing a dentist for the rest of my life. Glad I found this place. They make me feel comfortable and are very understanding of my discomfort levels. I love how they educate me of any issues with my teeth or gums so I can better prevent issues in the future and save money down the road. They also do a great job of laying out and prioritizing my plan for future visits. If you’re looking for a good dental practice this is the one.

I have had so many bad experiences with dentists I never thought I would seek one out again… When the pain in my mouth got unbearable though, I had to seek out a dentist, my biggest fear, needles in my mouth, drilling, pain, carelessness. I no longer feel any anxiety seeing a dentist. Dr. Dexter talked me through everything, he was so nice, he explained stuff, there was no pain. I would highly recommend this guy to anyone. He’s amazing! I am now looking foreword to getting the rest of my teeth fixed, cleaned, and chatting with this super awesome dentist (and his nice assistant). 5 stars all the way!!

Dr Dexter and his staff are great ! I went in for my teeth cleaning on his re-opening day. Felt very safe and facility was clean and properly prepared. Called from car, was informed could come in as no other patients in office, questions asked, temp taken. Barriers up in proper places and hygienist wore a face shield as well as the usual protective gear. I felt Dr Dexter and his staff went out of their way to make me feel safe.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Donald Dexter has provided outstanding dental care to me and my family, and my son and his family also continue as patients under Dr. Dexter’s care. My own experience has been exceptional. Dr. Dexter has provided exceptional routine preventative care and prophylaxis, with an excellent staff of dental hygienists and techs ensuring that one’s teeth are fully examined and carefully cleaned. Dr.Dexter has also provided outstanding prosthodontic treatment to address tooth loss and compromise arising from poor care in childhood. His skills in designing superior replacements for tooth loss bring me to his office for updates and occasional routine repairs over many years. There is in my opinion no one better able to craft effective and aesthetically pleasing dental devices. Dr. Dexter is a caring and sensitive dentist. He ensures that the patient is comfortable before and during procedures, and he explains in detail the steps to be taken during examination and dental procedures. I recommend Dr. Dexter and his staff enthusiastically to patients of any age and their families.
