I have been going to Double Oak Family Dentistry for about 10 years. Dr. Brewer has been my only dentist since I have been an adult and he has done an amazing job. When I stopped going to my childhood dentist at around 18 years old I didn’t start going to another dentist. I had some bad habits and didn’t brush my teeth as I should have. At age 21 I went to Dr. Brewer at Double Oak Family Dentistry because I had a toothache. He told me that my teeth were in really bad shape and that it would take a lot of time, work, and better personal care on my part to get everything under control. So after 10 years of teeth cleanings, root canals, crowns, and prescription toothpaste my mouth is in good condition…no bridges, no implants, and only one tooth had to be pulled. I couldn’t be happier with the professionalism from Dr. Brewer as well as the staff. I would recommend this dental office to anyone who was looking for a good dentist.

If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would! My 18 month old daughter and I just left this office for our first visit. First of all, last week when I called the staff was so welcoming and accommodating to all of my questions about becoming a new patient. They took the time to really help me navigate my way through the process. Today, we arrived and after a very brief wait in the waiting room, we were greeted by our hygienist, Brooke who was the sweetest. She was so flexible with my child who was not really into her first dental appointment. She worked around her playing in my lap, playing on the floor, and eventually crying. Other members of the staff came in and helped clean up her mess and offered to walk her around the clinic so that I could finish up my appointment. Dr. Brewer was efficient and very kind. I am most pleased with my experience and look forward to going back. Thank you for your kindness, this mama appreciates you all!

My visits have always been on time, efficient and thorough, from the greeting (by name!) at the front desk, to my hygienist, the Doctor and the well wish on my way out…goodie bag in hand! I was surprised by how quick Dr. Brewer and Dr. Samford were able to get me in as a new patient with a broken tooth at Double Oak Family Dentistry. Not only did the work take less time than I was expecting, the cost was way under what I was expecting without dental insurance as well. Going to the dentist is never fun, but the awesome staff here makes it feel like much less of a chore. Everyone has a great personality–it’s nothing like your typical cold, dim, stale dentist office. All of the dental assistants and front office staff seem genuinely happy where they’re working, which is also atypical for most medical offices. I’ve even had several of them tell me how great Dr. Brewer is as an employer, and that definitely shows in the great customer service they provide. Dr. Brewer is a patient, thorough dentist that doesn’t seem to be in a big rush to get done with you and on to the next patient, and is willing to answer any questions you may have. With that said, he’s also very punctual to his schedule. I’ve been going to this office for about a year now and I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes to be taken back to a room for cleaning or for him to come in after the cleaning. Now that I’ve moved, this office is rather inconvenient to where I live, but they’re so good it’s well worth the drive. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

We moved to the Birmingham area right before Covid hit. We couldn’t get back to our previous dentist for our regular dental checkup and it’s been too long. We were directed to Double Oak Mtn and Dr. Brewer and I couldn’t be happier. The online process for inputing my information couldn’t be easier. Upon arrival the safety procedures were fantastic, along with a very helpful and friendly front office team. My hygienist, Taylor was very friendly, professional and detailed in her work (sorry if it was hard but it has been a year since my last cleaning). Dr. Brewer was friendly and professional and welcomed me to area. The facility is modern and ‘first class’. My wife has an appointment here in April and she won’t be disappointed.

Double Oak Mountain has been wonderful for me and my family. The work they have done for myself and my family has been wonderful. I’m much more comfortable smiling for photos now than I used to be. They are very involved with their patients and offer advice, education, etc. The office staff are super sweet and really care about you. They always get us in to be seen in cases where we have needed a fast appointment scheduled and they’re great about sending reminders for cleanings, appointments, etc. The dentists we have seen have always been great about everything – they make sure you are completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the time you are in their chair. That really means a lot to me because I have a ton of anxiety about dental appointments. Their office and equipment are very clean and tidy and they have great equipment that makes your visit go smoothly (i.e. x-ray arms that come to in your chair without you having to walk all over the place). Their location is also very convenient. Can’t say enough great things about this place, we will continue to go here for many years to come!

By far the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in the medical/dental field in my 32 years of life. The professionalism and warm welcome was outstanding. The staff explained everything and did not over sell their products. The dental assistants were professionals and cared about me as if I was family and that means a lot. Being a black woman in the area some businesses have treated me “different” and I did not feel uncomfortable during any of my services.
