The wait time was barely 1 min. For my first visit, I checked in, filled out some paperwork, and as soon as I was done with paperwork, I was led to the room. Both the staff and the doctor explained all procedures thoroughly, answered my questions even to the degree of the things I didn’t know to think about prior. Very helpful staff. Also, the dentist and the staff seem to have really good communication all around, so that as a patient I felt I was in good hands that I didn’t have to worry about what I might forget to ask. The staff already knew based on what I had discussed with the doctor. The payment process is pretty seamless. The staff/nurse there explained everything about my insurance and what I need to pay. Definitely will go back for my future dental needs.

The entire staff at Downtown Dental was great. The front desk is quick and efficient, and I had practically no waiting time. Galina gave me the best teeth cleaning I have ever had. I had not had a cleaning in over a year, so her job was not easy, but she was patient and thorough. I had always had bleeding/swollen gums, and other dentists told me I needed surgery. Since the cleaning, my gum problems have gone away completely. I also did a whitening procedure – which took half an hour and my teeth have never looked better! Downtown Dental is great, and I look forward to coming back for many years to come!

I went to Downtown Dental Studio for a ZOOM teeth whitening with a groupon (139.00). I was a llittle leary about going to a dentist office without previews by friends, but I viewed yelp.com and felt satisfied with the comments. The staff was courteous and friendly. I was 30 minutes late trying to find parking – which is a nightmare – but the receptionist said “no problem”. The office is clean and warm with comfy chairs! My teeth are nice and pearly white. The treatment does have a little discomfort associated, but the tech applied a desensitizer gel to relieve it. The pain wasn’t bad enough to quit the procedure ADVICE: park on Barclay and walk up the street. discomfort on bottom front row / treatment: 3 fifteen min whitening section / you can only eat “white” food x 48hrs to avoid staining teeth – I feel bad for all those coffee and tea fiends :)~

I had a quasi emergency and Dr. Karina put me in her schedule rather quickly (as always). I was so desperate to have my issue resolved that I forgot to ask what measures were in place to address COVID-19. Upon arriving I saw a sign on the door indicating masks required. I was the sole person in the waiting area. A clear panel had been put before the reception desk and everyone was wearing a mask. There was a receptacle on the desk carrying sanitized pens along with a bottle of hand sanitizer. In addition to a mask, Dr. Karina wore a shield while working. I went by bicycle and could leave it inside the building in an area specifically for bikes without having to worry about locking it up. They seem to have thought of everything and once again, I am very impressed!

After a great deep cleaning by Dr. Zaygermakher a few years ago I did some Groupon cheating but recently came back. Eloise, Tamika and the Doctor couldn’t have been more lovely and caring, and I can’t say that for many other dental offices. I have no plans to go anywhere else… ever!

I try to avoid going to the dentist at all times because of obvious reasons where I am scared, I don’t want to smell my tooth burning, etc… For me, it used to be like torture sitting at that dentist chair until I had my multiple visits with Dt. Zaygermakher at Downtown Dental Studio. She is very knowledgeable, fast and on point. If not medically necessary, she would not want you to go through any additional treatment(s) and she definitely doesn’t rush things. I also believe she has a great team! All the team members were working like a bee to help her complete my treatment. I have not felt any pain or never had any concerns. I sincerely believe a strong team is very critical. Downtown Dental Studio is located very central in Manhattan and the rooms were clean, bright and private. Especially during Covid times you can see the importance the staff gives for your safety. The treatment cost was extremely reasonable especially if you don’t have a dental insurance plan. If you have any dental problems I wouldn’t waste a single minute and call Dt. Karina Zaygermakher.

Dr. Zaygermakher is prompt, her work is thorough and she’s upfront and clear about what needs to be done, how much I can expect to be billed, and if and how I can adjust a treatment plan to spread out the costs without compromising my dental health. She’s easy to talk to about how my teeth and gums are feeling and and I get useful advice. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Other than paper work, there was literally no waiting time. One of the best cleaning and teeth exam I have ever had. I have to say Dr. Karina was awesome with her work. She gave me a through exam and explained to me everything that I need to get done to maintain my teeth. Also thanks to Eloise the communication was excellent.
